Fabri has been on many morning shows. By morning shows, I mean those cheesy cooking/studio shows with corny jokes whose main audience is stay home moms. He's been regular on em for last 6-7 years and learned REAL authentic food from all over the country. These shows usually send their reporters(like fabri) to introduce local food from around Korea. I don't wanna offend Edward but I'm pretty confident Fabri would be more competent in Korean food if they are going for truely authetic dishes.
I've been following his TH-cam channel since the very beginning. I first saw an old documentary of him - close to the time when he decided to move to Korea. He is not just a chef but a true food scholar. He moved to Korea to study the essence of the Korean cuisine. So you will often see him meeting up with the experts in a certain type of dish and he will be taking copious notes. Also, I'd recommend watching "Welcome, First Time to Korea" (available on YT) where he brings his 3 Michelin-starred Chef friends from Itally to visit him in Korea. The way they study each dish they eat is quite enjoyable to watch.
Chef Fabri’s bright personality really was the highlight for me in the early part of the show! i also have so much respect for Chef Edward for constantly pushing himself throughout the competition with his creativity and humility. Would love to see a sequel with some of the finalist chefs (Chef Choi Hyunseok is super entertaining too)!
You're absolutely not alone in feeling that way about Edward Lee's dishes. His approach to cooking, along with his authentic self, exudes elegance and sincerity-it’s incredibly inspiring.
I love how Fabri who is technically a caucasian with zero korean DNA in forms explains the word mukenji so well to Edward Fabri pronounces english like koreans 🤣 Love their awesome personalities and cooking! I noticed that them both having multicultural heritages makes them more unique. They fully embrace, integrating multicultural heritages and making most out of it instead of being confused or having complex by it out of inner conflict/outer systematic discrimination really resonated with me.
Try to catch Edward Lee's old The Mind of a Chef episodes, it's a PBS production. Chef Lee sounds like this when he's talking about southern soul food :D
Both. Of you guys are great. Your mentality and character shown throughout the series is respectable. Best wishes. Would be nice to have your own show on Netflix.
Chef Lee I love you ❤ You were the most talented and creative. A lot of talented chefs in the show but you were the only one who didn’t crack under pressure and always delivered. It’s a shame you were not the winner.
Please have Edward Lee as judge for next season. He has so much expertise and knowledge to bring to the show. Don’t waste it! Fabri is also no slouch-bring him in as guest judge!
I love both of them! Chef Fabri is all sparkles and good vibes and Chef Lee is fun in a serious way, and they definitely helped me to understand better Korean food as a foreigner that really want to learn more.
Wow! It's great to see Chef Fabri and Edward Lee together. I've been watching Fabri's cooking videos for years, and now I'm a huge fan of Chef Edward Lee. I keep watching the Culinary Class Wars over and over again, and try to cook like Edward does, and some of his recipes (observed and guessed by me, of course) have become my go-to menus now 😀 Thanks Netflix!! 고마워요.
it is funny to listen to you guys... an Italian teaching and explaining korean foods to a korean dude. LOL 😂 i learn a lot too, thanks Chef FF ... sei il migliore ❤
I really enjoy watching them in culinary class war, both are great, chef fabri is so entertaining and chef edward is also genius and so creative, i really respect him❤
LOVE LOVE LOVe Chef Edward Lee and lovely to see/hear from Chef Fabri (often he is jolly fun guy behind) Paik however with this team up / interview w Chef Ed Lee = brings a different side to Chef Fabri Really appreciate and love Chef Edward Lee; he is a REAL true winner of Wars Series 1 with his very creative talented experienced and personalised touch to his skills / dishes / mindset toward the show - competition brilliant to watch this video - thank you and best success to Chefs
Fabri was great to have on the show. His personality really brightened up various scenes. It was great to see Edward Lee as well. Although there was at least one other Korean American contestant (maybe more?), I really appreciated his comments as an ethnic Korean chef who didn't grow up in Korea.
For me, Edward Lee, you're the winner! You brought Korean dishes into the highest level. Judges didn't see that! You did an excellent job in Culinary class wars. The title itself, it seems that the judges didn't understand! That's my own opinion!
Chef edward lee was vert gentle during fimal,if he cooke delish diah we knww hell win,but winning is jyst a soso for him, impt is he showed his passion and love for korean food, he wanted to learn and dscover more bout his heritage ..

Sad fabri didn’t go ❤ Watching the show for fabri, chef Choi, chef baek But Edward Lee is great chef ❤ It show how long fabri live in Korea and understand Korean dish that deep
Fabri has long been in the Korean entertainment industry but I think this is the first time I hear him speaking in English.
Yepp. He so good on learning korean. He improving his korean a lot that he doesn't need to speak in English in korean entertainment
He speaka English from time to time, on his TH-cam channel.
What surprise me, his english is way better than his korean 😂
He also speaks english with a slight korean accent haha
i wonder how many languages he speaks. absolutely brilliant
Chef Fabri was so refreshing. His wholesomeness made the show better. Too bad he got eliminated so early.
Edward lee, a great chef with a great personality.
Absolutely!
And most humble!
Absolutely loved watching him throughout the show.
He's like the cool uncle I wouldn't mind hearing stories and advice from
Truly agree🎉 he was the true winner of the show imo
The last episodes amazed me as Edward Lee was so creative and unique, it just left me speechless
When Italian explains Korean Food to a Korean-American😆
That's exactly what I was thinking lol😁

Chef fabri explaining how the Korean ingredients are while chef Edward being the Korean listening. I love the Interaction
they need to get edward lee back in season 2, probably as a judge
Right, and the other Black Spoons in Top 8 as White Spoons
That won't be a surprise since he's very qualified. He also appeared as a guest judge in one of Gordon Ramsay's show
Oh man!! What a wonderful idea
That's what I'm thinking once the show ended.
Totally agree!

Really enjoying this conversation between the two chefs about ingredients and seasonings, with their own insights and experiences added in.
Symposium of cooking 👍👍
Watching from USA. My 13-year-old boy who loves cooking tried out a few dishes inspired by the show! Chef Edward is the winner in our eyes!
Fabri and Edward Lee. The pair we didn't expect
You're absolutely not alone in feeling that way about Edward Lee's dishes. His approach to cooking, along with his authentic self, exudes elegance and sincerity-it’s incredibly inspiring.
Just finished episode 12 and holy shit. Chef Edward Lee was amazing in the last two episodes
Chef Ed Lee is the real deal. Last year when my wife and I ate at Nami he even came by our table to see how we enjoyed the food.
God, I'm so impressed how chef Fabri deeply understands Korean food. I would like to see more of both Edward and Fabri in the show.
