This is how I feel every time I hear this. "I have the flu, but dont worry, I am taking antibiotics." Well, now I am worried, because you are creating antibiotic resistant bacteria for no reason! I stopped going to my previous doctor after he said, "If you want, I can prescribe you some antibiotics for this [viral infection]."
Whilst Jem is great, as Greg said in another comment, this is just a short clip from a TV show. Most of the videos without Greg are just that, short clips from BBC TV shows. Jem had never even heard of BBC Earth Lab when he made this bit. So can/will not replace anybody, unless you want a finite amount of unoriginal content for the rest of the channels existence.
A disease is an animal's body energy running at the relative low level condition which attracts virus or bacteria from outside open air. There are two root cause of disease: low level body internal energy and partially disorder or damage of body's internal structures or organs. Virus and Bacteria are not root causes of disease. They are just part of the disease effects. Just like rotten meat would certainly generate a playground for uninvited guests of bacteria, maggots, flies etc. We cannot ignore the crucial role of body energy. Without body energy's driven, any animal's body would become a dead meat undoubtedly. The modern main stream western medicine's been spreading the most dangerous idea which is using all kind of medical equipment inspection results to confuse and convince people who are having certain specific disease for sure. It is pathetic that most people are not aware of that illogical mistake by misjudging the ageing as disease. Unfortunately, most of inspected index, scanned internal organ images are just the phenomenon of body ageing instead the actual disease. Most people would easily accept ageing effects like grey hair or wrinkled skin since those are simply nature effects of life. But once we are told by a medical doctor who presents the so call solid evidence -- inspected images or index figures which are actually to be body's nature ageing effects but they insist to call it disease, sickness, disorder or syndrome. If you believe their so call professional medical and scientific statement and you would be patient immediately. Many people have to pay for considerable lesson because of agreeing that morden trap of medical believing system. They never know that they have been life time loyalty customer of pharmacy groups. People should use their common knowledge, independent thinking and intuitive feeling more in order to avoid life time trap wisely.
