I like the sectioned look of the glass and the basement, it almost looks like something from old Caselabs. But the lack of radiator support, especially compared to my Phanteks P500A, where I have a 360mm and 420mm at the same time in a similar form factor.

Definitely, this black and white look is something I wouldn't consider normally, but on this one it looks great. Wish they had changed the top panel to either be closed or bigger for at least 280mm support. Putting just one fan up there looks kinda unfortunate actually

I remember going through IG stories and seeing an NZXT qna type thing and someone asked for a good airflow case, the guy who responded said something along the lines of: No, you get design or you get airflow. Super freaking happy to see NZXT make this case although I want to see one that also comes with RGB fans like the H510 Elite.

  • @matthieuzglurg6015

2:33 : no, no you're right. That case is basically the H510 Elite with perforated panel instead of glass. That's. It.
You could remove the front glass panel exactly like you can remove the mesh on this one. Out of all their cases, this is probably the one that required the less design time, and tooling. Because 95% of the case was already there.
If they don't sell mesh panels for H510 Elite users to swap with the glass panel (like Phanteks did when they released the P400A), they're dicks. Although, because of the design, you can't swap the standard H510 (or H500) panels at all, and the H510 Elite was way too pricey so that's a smaller demographc compared to the tons and tons of H510 that have been sold

I got the H510 Elite and pretty sure the front glass panel can't be removed without drilling out rivets, would be nice to have an option for a mesh front but honestly thermals aren't bad even with a 5900x & 3090 inside, just gotta clean the dust filters more often.
The only differences I could see over the Elite is the mesh front, no included vertical GPU slot & smaller cable channel/gap on the back part.

It's good to hear someone giving a voice to air cooling and its community. I have only had a fan fail when its bearings ran out once. Otherwise I find I have a few extra fans on hand because of changes in cases. And when I have recycled a couple cases their fans were still good and I kept them for future use. And I am not a TH-camr with a bunch of extra parts on hand. So I guess you could say only fan club I have is mechanical...

  • @1leggeddog

Ive been building in the H510 for years without any issues. And while yes, it can be better airflow wise, the stock fans simply do not provide enough CFM.
Using proper 140mm fans made for throughput work fine.
That being said, if the price is right with the Flow, i'll switch to it (because the design is better) unless someone asks specifically for a closed front

Warning to those considering this case:
    "Tight screws" = over-torquing!
I actually had to RMA my H710i because those "tight screws from the factory" were actually over-torqued. It completely stripped all of my PCIe slots to the point where I did a single motherboard replacement and they could no longer support cards or even the slot cover. I got a replacement case and carefully unscrewed the PCIe slots, and that resulted in metal shards coming out from the screws eating at the metal. Something's really off about their quality control (wouldn't be a surprise to many after the PCIe riser fire issue). Just food for thought.

I would have bought this then as well, but instead got an H510. Mounted a 240mm AIO in the front and it was fine, until I replaced my 2070 Super with a 3080 Strix OC. Then it got a little hot (at least while I was mining in the off hours), and I only had about 1mm-2mm clearance between the GPU and the radiator. The next best looking case I could find with decent airflow of a similar size was the Corsair 4000D airflow. Decent case, but not as good looking and the glass side panel is dark tinted instead of clear. And it looks like the side on this 510 flow is also dark tinted. Shame.

Looks good to me and obviously has way better airflow. Their higher end cases are great as well but I wanted something that could fit my standard ATX board but wasn't way bigger since I didn't need the extra space and put the computer on a cabinet next to my desk. My only advice for this case is to run the CPU power and case fan cables and anything else that goes on the top of the board in advance because I installed my tower CPU cooler first and it was a very tight reach to plug anything above it in

I removed the front air filter from my h510i a long time ago and I get fantastic airflow. Also, a 120 on the top and back are way more than enough fan spots, considering there's only 2 front intake. for someone who cares so much about positive air pressure im surprised he cares so much about having more exhausts. Also, the audio splitter is for the front audio jack. I always lose mine so its nice they include it

@@1nate2 I have a i7 8700k cooled with 240mm radiator mounted on the front as intake, and a 3060ti. I put a 120mm noctua fan on the back as exhaust, so 3 fans total. My pc draws around 400watts at max load, and this is plenty to keep temps cool. The air filter is super easy to remove, the side one must be removed from the inside of the case, and the bottom one I think can be done from outside the case. Personally, unless you’re on a budget, I would get 2 good fans for the front as intake, then put the stock fans on the back and top

  • @kevinm8715
    @kevinm8715 2 ปีที่แล้ว

The reason that they haven't put a second fan mount/grille in the top of the case is because that bar that comes out to help hide the cable management prevents you from having room to install one. If you want a second fan up top then you have to go to the H710 series, which does a good job of preserving the look while giving slightly better cooling. They changed the shape of the bar to allow for a second fan to be top mounted (or even an AIO), and then added perforation around both sides and the top instead of just the one narrow spot on the back side. If they made one of those with a mesh front panel like the 510 airflow it would be a home run.
