    Do you just plug the Yanyin Cannon II in the pc or you use some amp dac?

    I have the orchestra lites. Just from a pinpoint accuracy in warzone standpoint, how much better are the cannons? Is it different enough to warrant the upgrade without taking the comfort into consideration?

    • @DannyKillinger
      @DannyKillinger  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      It can really depend on your AMP DAC if you are using one vs not having one.... personally I have mine just running through my goxlr (not the best setup) but I did notice a very noticiable difference between the two and honestly for "long-term" use the Canon 2's are more comfortable for me. (some of that could be the tips I'm using) But ultimately, the Canon 2's will perform better and imho... I returned the Orchestra Lites after using the Canon's. My friend here just dropped a tier list which includes both of these and who I based making the upgrade myself to the Canon's if you need more reference. Skip to 10:30 in for the Canon reviews and tier lvl. th-cam.com/video/xrs6QTl5F1o/w-d-xo.html

      @@DannyKillinger ohh yea. I watch fresh reviews too. I just wanted your opinion on just the sound part. I already know the lites comfort thing. I struggled with it for a while but I finally figured out a trick that made them comfortable for me so they no longer bother me on long sessions. I also do reordered the supermix 4’s but was wondering how much difference the directional audio in warzone is between the 2.

    great video
    I also have the Yanyin and used it on my Elgato Wave XLR but I always get noise. What do you use to power your iems? Are you using a dac/amp? I would be very happy to receive an answer

    • @DannyKillinger
      @DannyKillinger  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Currently just plugging mine directly into the Goxlr. You might google a “loop isolator” which could solve the noise you’re hearing if it’s interference and or a humming noise

      @@derjamiloyou could get a moondrop dawn pro to drive them. $50. Or a simple apple usb c dac works fine if you don’t want to spend much. You could also try an 25 ohm impedance adapter to see if that kills the noise , but honestly I’d go for a stand-alone dac/amp.

    • @DannyKillinger
      @DannyKillinger  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It's pretty easy, most IEMs have a simple 3.5mm jack, and you can just plug them straight into a motherboard as long as your cable is long enough (you can get a 3.5mm extender if needed). You can also plug them into a DAC, or Digital to Analog Converter and Amplifier to improve the audio quality (this would be the "best" setup option)

    Do you think the Yanyin Cannon IIs are worth the extra $120. Like is it a huge difference while in game? I am a competitive wz2 player and my current pr is 36 on vondel while using my arctis pros. I can hear decently in game now, but sometimes when there is a lot going on with multiple squads pushing, my directional ques can get muddled or because of the space of the headset, I can hear someone is close but cant always pinpoint where. Ive seen ArtIsWar and Fresh Reviews on youtube recommend the Kiwis but this is the first Ive seen on the Cannons. Just wondering if the difference between the two is marginal or worth the extra money?

    • @DannyKillinger
      @DannyKillinger  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Personally, I think the difference is worth because of the 4 different switches included on the Cannon’s. I didn’t go into a ton of detail but it gives you a pretty wide range of customization for Warzone and or games with a ton of sound alerts. After playing with the Kiwi’s for several days, truly the biggest knock was the pressure build up from longer sessions. I think both are equally good in a lot of ways, but I would shell out the $120 for the Cannon IIs for the comfort and or improved sound (all be it very marginal)

      @Achilles_11_ ปีที่แล้ว

      @@DannyKillinger I appreciate the response. I play for 8-10 hrs sometimes and one of the biggest concerns I had for the kiwis was comfort for that long, whish is a shame because the price is great

    • @DannyKillinger
      @DannyKillinger  ปีที่แล้ว

      I’m sure there is, I’ve seen IEM’s go into the $1k’s which seems insane to pay for. Obviously, more expensive does not mean “the best” or even better. But I have watched some “audiophile” videos and know what can achieve incredible sound from just IEMS. For my use case in gaming though, I’d say $200-$400 is the sweet spot… anything costing more or less is most likely average or over priced in this space imho.

    • @Hijynx87
      @Hijynx87 9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      There are better, but for gaming it doesn’t get too much better and it’s more of a sound preference. As long as they have good imaging, layering and separation you are good to go. Personally I’d just get a simgot em6l for $100 and you’ll be just fine. These 2 aren’t much better for gaming, and the sound signature is really nice and smooth on the simgot.

      The kiwis are a bit larger than average, and they are unvented so if they fit you would need aftermarket tips. Tangzu tang sencai work great and completely remove the pressure issue. Divinus velvet also work, but not quite as well. Foam also works perfectly , but I’m not a fan of foam tips.

    Is the soundstage wide on these like open back headphones e.g. AKG 7xx/702, philips fidelio x2hr?

    • @DannyKillinger
      @DannyKillinger  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Soundstage is quite spacious and wide with decent depth and height, nothing overly impressive compared to actual open back headphones if being honest. But for an IEM, I think these are more than sufficient here.

    • @Hijynx87
      @Hijynx87 9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      No, but they do sound outside your head for some sounds. Maybe better than the x2hr, but definitely not the akg. Imaging, layering and separation are more important than a wide soundstage though. Iems are better at that.

    Got my Yanyin Canon 2's last week and been loving them so much. My only gripe was with the tips being slightly larger than most and the small not fitting. I just have smaller ears and canals, but nonetheless these still feel amazing. Switched to Spinfit W1's that has a slightly larger bore (appears so at least). Amazing improvement but could've been due to improper fit with the original tips.

    Lol how can you say something is a value and then 2 seconds later admit they are expensive? That's a contradiction... The HD 560 headphone is a good value. The HD 600 is a good value at $200. IEM's priced at $350 are not a good value. They are just expensive.

    • @DannyKillinger

      That's because the Yanyin Cannon IIs sound and perform like many $500-$750 headphone's which makes them a good value - again I never said these were budget IEMs or consider them of good value based solely on the price. This was only mentioned as they are a good value compared to much more expensive IEMs... but I see your point and appreciate your comment.
