    For everyone wondering, he's using an Nzxt V2 rgb/fan controller. It supports 6 Rgb connections and 3 fans connection but can support up to 9 fans with 3 way splitters. As for the 7-10 rgb connections and 10th fan connection, you would either need another V2 controller or if you buy the 3 pack duo fans, they come with a small rgb controller which has 3 Rgb connection with a splitter option for fan power otherwise you would just plug the other fan power connectors in to the motherboard fan headers. Nzxt rgb fans have proprietary rgb connections, so you need their controller unless you have an nzxt motherboard that has rgb connections for their fans

    Hey @RobeytechLive! Thanks for the great video! I'm building a PC for the first time on my own and actually wanted to do a similar setup. I was planning to install 10 fans total: the 3 AER RGB 2 fans on the radiator on the top of the case and 7 more F120 RGB DUO ones (3 on the side, 3 on the bottom and 1 on the back). I think it's exactly what you used, but I'm not sure. Any chance you could specify what fans you used and the way you connected all of their cables? This is the part I'm struggling with in my build... I saw you used the new RGB & Fan Controller V2, but it would not allow the connection of all 10 fans if I understand correctly (it should technically support only 6 DUO fans for lighting control, as they are not daisy-chainable, and up to 9 fans for speed control, if using the triple splitter cables). So where did the remaining cables go? Hope you will be able to reply, as I have no idea how to connect them and if I would need to use additional controllers/hubs/cables to be able to actually control them all via the CAM software. Thanks a lot in advance!

      hello, have you found a solution to your problem? I have the same problem too. thank you

    • @sydoc
      @sydoc ปีที่แล้ว

      @@myl0o46 Still hoping they will answer.... The simplest way that comes to mind would be to connect the remaining rear fan directly to the motherboard to an ARGB header and a fan header. If I'm not mistaken the Kraken Z series he's using comes with a cable and a port on the pump itself for ARGB connection, so the 3 daisy-chained AER RGB 2 fans mounted on the radiator could be connected directly to the pump for lighting control. The rest of the connections would be as I described in my original question, that is: 6 F120 RGB DUO fans connected directly to the RGB & Fan Controller, 3 of which would be connected along with the 3 radiator fans via double splitter cables for speed control. I only wish someone could confirm that such cabling would actually work and permit you to control everything (fan speed and lighting) via CAM... Hope it helps.

    • @vdubgli07
      @vdubgli07 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@sydoc Hey, I've been trying to figure this out for a while too. What I am thinking is the rear fan RGB cable is connected right to the motherboard. Since it is a NZXT motherboard you can control it through NZXT CAM along with everything else. If you look at 1:52:00 where he puts the flashlight on he talks about connecting the last fan. I checked their site and that header he plugged into is RGB. I don't know if we can run that 7th fan if not using the NZXT board. My thoughts were to run 2 140 mm duo fans on the bottom although I don't think that will look as good. Hopefully they can confirm this! Good luck with the build!

    This is a great performance platform for some business and especially gaming. Keeping the heat out is key.
    In the engineering world we get into some pricey en-devours. Gaming performance is different than CAE and CAD.
    I'll stick with Super Micro. They have always been the leading edge for supporting CAD / CAE. You'll spend up to 3 to 4 times for one of their highest end systems but when working for a living, I have always relied on their knowledge and ability. With some of the extreme CAD video cards now you can another $10k to the price tag.
    A loaded Supermiceo SYS-7039A-I $15,134.25, for a NVIDIA Quadro RTX A5500 video card added another $4,248.40 for a total of $19,382.65. Add Ansys Multi physics with a Unigraphics NX now Seimens NX software package and the price is over $35K for a system.
    So don't complain about sending $4k on a system.....
