For people that don't want to watch all this bullshit the car ran: 12.5 @ 108

Reaction time doesn’t matter or affect 1/4 times
Work on 60 foot where you need to worry not reaction times

True. I've seen alot of races where one car crosses the finish line first, but actually has the slower time.

Listen up. I got 12.2 on street tires using
launch mode with traction set on street & transmission set on track. Set to1500 RPM. Just try it.

Hey man I've been drag racing for over 50 years(Yea I'm old) and I've learned you NEVER do burnouts on street tires. They will glaze over and you have no traction. Drive around the water box and do a dry hop to clean the tires, then stage and go.

I am another old dude. I second what fastgun is saying. No burnout on street tires. Or simply go XDRIVE (AWD) like I did. V8's have to run me down. If they can.

This is what I was going to say. Not from experience, but just from me being a research nerd.

This, skip the water box and just dust them off with a quick spin.

I know it has been said but don't burn out with street tires unless it's a true DR. Also when you burnout let it sit for 2 seconds or so and then carry the burnout out of the water pit by about 5-10'. Also if you're running that light again make sure you go on the last yellow it will improve your reaction time by alot. Nice vid though

You were making at least 450-470whp to run that. Dodge does release cars making more than they advertise lol. The first batch of hellcats were making almost 700whp. My friend had his dyonoed stock.

I have a Widebody challenger and Speaking from experience, if I were you, I would save up for a 17 inch rear wheel with a 305 Mickey Thompson. A drag radial is good but you will want more traction. My best time with a drag radial on stock rims was a 12.2 and that’s at 1500 da. I now have a drag pack set up and my best time is 11.9 at 1500 da. The stock pirellis are the worst for the drag strip...

Always had a thing for vintage Fords because of all the exotic cyl. heads but Mopar modern just rocks, in e'ry way. People with the means pay used jet prices for time machines...why?

Hey it's a good try for your first time. Couple things pump your brakes f before you launch. Once you get tires you're going to want to leave all traction an stability off. Your burnouts are fine but you should be launching at around 1300-1500 with your tire pressure on the stocks 25psi 20 on the slicks. Keep up the good videos

@@brandt_murphy_garage i was able to get at 12.2 with stock tires and all the seats removed. Yes that’s not amazing considering it took weight out but the humidity was robbing power all night. stock hellcats were running low 11’s high 12’s
