Well that's y they have the scatpacks to compete with the Mustang GT and Camaro SS. The R/T isn't there competition , I did a 13.5 the second time I took this car to the track still bone stock n nothing done to it, I have another video of it.
5.7 are fast I got my doors blowed off in my cobra
my mildly modded 340 dart 4spd ran a best of 13:0's @104mph. So for that mph, that charger should be capable of low 13's, too. Of course, the charger probably weighs 800# more than my dart did. Better driving technique would help get you there, too.
Try over a thousand pounds more -- about 3200 to 4200 pounds.
my dart weighed 3450#
@@rustycowll5735 your dart probably didn't have highway gears in it either, charger RT comes with a 2.62 rear end, I know it has 8 gears but a 2.62 is very tall regardless
👍
Zzzzzzzsnnnkkkkk, huh?
Oh it's across the line ?
Thanks Nick.......
Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz......😂
Yea its no ram lol
@@IncredibleHemi1111 dude, there are some 4 bangers that will outrun it. Maybe Jay has a junk fuel tune for it.
I know what's wrong with it- it's a 5.7 and not the 6.4 - really a dumb thing to buy for performance. Should have got a Scat Pack
I didn't buy for performance i bought it as a daily but wanted to have a lil fun with it I have a whipple supercharged ram that I have fun with
I must have missed the part when he said this is his performance vehicle all i heard it's his daily driver and he wanted to have some fun and find out what she can do. Im pretty sure he said that but hey what do i know i dont have a 6.4 like you smart people
@@toodamax12 I don't own a 6.4 either. I don't even own a Dodge. I wouldn't waste my money personally.
@@bigk5746 I dont think you drive anything
He really put a helmet in a stock charger😂🤦🏽♂️
Absolutely they make you put a helmet on at any NHRA dragstrip even if u race a pruis
Lol you need drag racing lessons. I have a 2018 R/T shaker, 5.7 and I ran a 13.42 at 102 on a 90 degree and very humid day.
yall think this is fast lmao
Here, I'll save you guys 13 minutes of your life:
First run: 14.00 @ 103.38
Second run: 14.36 @ 101.98
it should not take TWELVE MINUTES AND FIFTY FIVE SECONDS for less than 30 seconds of footage. For real man, stop trying milk people for views and youtube ad money. if you post something worth watching, people will watch.
Lastly, keep practicing. That car has potential, it should be a mid 13 second car if well driven.
More like sxt speed
It's a heavy car, stock with big wheels. Plus no offense your pretty big yourself. Also the gearing might also be an issue
No offense taken lol gearing is only 2.62
@@IncredibleHemi1111 that's what I think it's the major problem
@@legendary351 yea on the street i gotten 4.7 0-60 tho n it felt stronger off the line then it did at the track i dunno 🤷♂️
@@IncredibleHemi1111 it was just a bad day. I've had those before
@@legendary351 yupp go back stock n get a better a time
Car 5000pounds
U couldn't get it off the line hard,,!!! maybe it got to do with tires and how sticky its there,,!! u were even slower from my stock 19 RAM lmao
Much love to you and your ram. But the car not a chance. It's not a charger like I know. 68-70 I've owned 9. Hate the chargers now, not good content. My opinion. I'm sure I'm not the only one. Still much love, have fun though. Just not the same!.
🤷♂️
a 4 banger accord does better
No its doesn't but nice try
man... could you roll any slower? You're supposed to launch, not tip toe
Great, I' m not buying a Dodge Hemi.
Depressingly slow
Yes I know , improved this time to a 13.5@104 i made a updated video on it
what was this crap ? why even run the car if your not even going to launch off the line?
lame!!!!
Went back to track and ran 13.5 I have a updated video
OMG...Dodge sucks
