      @@kimberlyrogers9953 Since the year 2000, Chinese hacking activities targeting American corporations and technology have been deep and widespread. Every one of the Top 6000 corporations in the USA have had their technology stolen. This was supported by the Clinton Bush Obama and of course Biden govts as well the fbi and Wall Street in order to quickly shift manufacturing to China at the expense of the American people. Donald Trump was the only president to put a stop to it and all his measures were strict down Immediately upon Biden taking office.
      Reports since 2000 confirm a pattern of cyber espionage, backed by the Chinese government, with the aim of stealing intellectual property, trade secrets, and sensitive technology. These activities have targeted a range of industries, including defense, aerospace, technology, and healthcare and the US water supply and power grid and internet.
      The motivations are often attributed to gaining a competitive edge, advancing military capabilities, and economic espionage.
      The U.S. government under the FBI and CIA have done little but raised cybersecurity concerns, and diplomatic efforts have been made to address these issues between the two countries. China stated they have all American business and military secrets and can purchase and tech companies who secrets they want. The plan now is to buy land, bribe govt officials, feed Chinese into academic institutions to gather espionage

If Facebook and Google were doing something wrong it means the US government allowed it to happen as both are big US government and military contractors. Google and Facebook are defacto state assets. CIA closed their LifeLog project around the same time Facebook appeared. LifeLog became Facebook with a reptile brained front man of Zuckerberg to launder the CIA's involvement in its creation and control. Amy Klobuchar hates children or else she would not have helped over throw the democratically elected government in Ukraine creating the excess deaths of children and civilians in the region. Meta is a publicly traded company. They (and others) have more sway over these laws than anyone in most cases because of the money they can spend on lobbying. @@goeatsomesh1t It's literally the parents job to monitor their children. If kids did not have access until the age of 18, then we wouldn't have minors creating this type of content to begin with. Parents NEED to parent their children, take away their internet access and give them flip phones.
      Facebook, Instagram, SnapChat, Discord, and many many others are for ADULTS. Not children. But since parents can't and wont parent anymore we now have ipad kids. We now have parents who want to show case their child instead of parenting them and protecting them. So yes, these apps should not allow this type of content, just as the parents of the children who create it should not allow their children on these apps.

    • @goeatsomesh1t
      @goeatsomesh1t 4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @NeirCorvin it's also the teachers jobs though, right? A parent gets silenced for expressing concerns to the school board, but somehow it's only the parents fault for their behavior. Oh yes I totally get that parents need to do a better job and get their kids off the social hellscape, but then you'll have the teachers saying that the parent is censoring their child's feelings and social rights. You have to have seen what I'm talking about by now. How many times did you outsmart your parents and keep things hidden from them when you were a teenager? Be honest. There was a time when parents and teachers saw eye to eye on discipline and education, not so much anymore. So I still think social media is a detrement to society and a hazard to young people's mental health and development. I will not remember this conversation with you, nor will you, because it isn't a real conversation with a real person. There's something missing, the human part is missing. Hopefully one day it all goes away and people start acting human again, and you wouldn't have to worry about the various exploits occurring on "social" media.

      @@goeatsomesh1t I understand what you are saying, as a teenage I mainly used my pc for gaming, Shaiya, and well...old 2000's pc games that had discs. I had a flip phone that didn't have access to the internet.
      As a child I stayed at home and played online, I have lived a very solitary life by choice. This is based on my personality trait. As for teachers, teachers didn't parent me, they taught me the subjects I needed to pass the current grade.
      It is not a teachers place to tell a parent if their child can or cannot use social media. Maybe they allow children to play on their cellphones during class these days? When I was in school we had to leave those in our lockers. I switched to homeschooling at 13 so I was essentially taken out of public schools. Because public schools were going down hill, they have only gotten worse these days and I am very thankful my parents put my education first over "socializing with kids" in a broken system.
      I think you and I come from not only different times but entirely different lifestyles. Teachers were mean't to teach, parents were meant to parent. They did not mix.

Donald Trump was the only president to put a stop to it and all his measures were strict down Immediately upon Biden taking office.

These activities have targeted a range of industries, including defense, aerospace, technology, and healthcare and the US water supply and power grid and internet.
      The motivations are often attributed to gaining a competitive edge, advancing military capabilities, and economic espionage.

      A really smart woman once said that when your kids are little, toddler age, you have to watch them every minute. Then, when they start school they they're busy learning their place amongst their peers, so you watch them differently. A little less. Then, when their hormones start kicking in, ya gotta watch them every second again until they mature. It's a lot of work, admittedly. But that's how you raise responsible productive members of society.

A lot of parents will just hand their child an iPad and let them browse these sites completely unattended. Can these companies do more to enforce these policies, yes. But the main issue lies with negligent parents. There are so many tools available to monitor what your child does online, but the fact that nobody is using them is shocking. Parents should be following their child's social media, monitoring the interactions they are having, and informing them about dangers. It is so much easier to blame the creators of these platforms than to actually take accountability for what your child is doing online.

    Will something ever be done about predators like Jeffery Marsh who’s promoting KIDS to go no contact with their parents. He’s also encouraging KIDS to DM him or join the private part of his site if they need someone to talk to about the “how to’s” of gay sex. He constantly says he wants to be their new family now because HE loves and supports them like their parent never will. It’s absolutely brazen and mind blowing.
