It doesn't make wallbouncing faster, it makes it smoother and easier. By setting your setting from Default to Alternate means you can wallbounce all day. The Alternate setting means X is to Roadie run so A is a separate button for wallbouncing. The main purpose of this is to stop rolling when you are trying to wallbounce

when i first switched to alternate i felt a huge difference in the speed, but i also felt like i was sticking to a lot more walls at first too because of how fast you can slide into cover... it takes a while to adjust to it, so if i was you i would just pick one or the other and stick with it, cause switching back and forth has to be confusing
U should do more wallbounce gameplays dude, the roadie strafe style is cool but the wallbounce kills just make u look BOSS :) good job dude

lol thank you man... everyone thinks that alternate/onza is the easiest thing in the world... it would take anyone a long time to get used to either of the two, yea wallbouncing is easier on alternate but using the cover system in close quarters is a lot harder because of the amount of buttons you have to press and the timing has to be perfect

Thnak you for your video. I'll try to follow the suggestions. Do you have any advise for my problems? My character is rolling instead of getting to the wall because I have delay in getting the image that shows to push the A. Than I think I have a lag problem because when I get to do some wall bouncing then I jump back 20m to the starting position facing the first wall. :)
Another question.
If I can't, for the previous reasons, get to make a wall bouncing, how do I win against one that is doing it against me?.

this was one of my first videos i ever made so unfortanetly i really messed up the edit and rendered it horribly thats why it looks so tiny... but i was using the black magic intensity shuttle in this video, and for some reason my computer stopped being able to handle the fast recording speeds that the shuttle uses... so now i record with a hauppage pvr

You are probably the only ESS guy who made a video that explains wall bouncing simple lol. I'll try your way. how long did it take you to get comfortable with the RB as your rodey run?
the best way i can explain it is that the angle you take has to match how wide the hallway is and how you are moving your left analog stick... basically you can stay mostly in the middle if you take a lesser angle or you can take a bigger angle and go wall to wall

With cancel bounce do you push forward with left stick and pull back with it ?
yea it happens a lot when you first start, the entire movement is switched around... the angles are different so you can't wallbounce the same as you can on default.. you just have to get used to it ;)

Ess Bouncin N' Ess StRikkeRZ are the wallbounce's king! they're a beast!
its up to you really, you can wallbounce just as good on either controller... i prefer the onza because i can bounce just as fast but the accuracy is a lot better

yea sometimes you get stuck but if you're using just the left analog stick to wallbounce it takes time to learn exactly where to push it in order to not get stuck
it depends on alot of things... how wide the hallway is, if you want to go wall to wall or stay somewhat in the middle... probably like 45 degrees is the easiest description

its a special controller that has an extra button so there are to RB buttons and one of them you can make whatever button you want ;) it's called the razor onza

i use the razer onza... it has a two extra bumpers in front of the standard ones that you can program to be whatever button you want... i use alternate so my left programmable button i use the X button and the right programmable button i use the A button... so technically i am hitting the A button when i press the extra bumper

on alternate controls it will seem hard to go from wall to wall u basically just need to pull away from the wall just a little quicker when your moving constant better when you look from one wall to the other when bouncing for some people just takes practice

haha yea you could do that, i used to up until 3 months ago...but i like to keep my camera centered when i play gow so alternate and the onza are the best fit for me ;)

this video is all done on alternate controls... sliding into cover feels alot faster then it does on default so pulling off is a hard thing to do at first... the best thing for alternate is not to pull off, just go to the next wall with the left analog stick cause you dont have to worry about rolling... its all about the angles when you are on alternate =]

It's much easier to wallbounce when using both Default and this Hanzo controller. You can mash the bounce button (see 07:02 / mashing RB) without fear of diving/rolling by mistake.
Im in to wall bouncing its fun. i have that controller i need a new one but i try to work with what i have i guess ill go practice. My question is how long did it take you to get comfortable bouncing?

I used to say that when i was trying to learn how to play on alternate, but now that i play on alternate i say the same exact thing when i try to play on default.
Does the Onza last long? I ordered a Sabertooth but I see lots of people saying the aren't made well and last only a few months.

And for those trying to learn how to angle bounce, learning while having the camera angled to the right is much easier and more natural than with a left angle. Both are useful and an asset to you, but this is for learning purposes.

Do you know of any ways to get better with the alternate controls? I've tried, but it seems like I can't pull away from walls when wallbouncing, very well. Also, it seems much harder to bounce left, than right.
haha yea this was one of my first videos and was really only made cause maybe 10 people asked me to do one... i didn't expect it to get this big, if i was to make one now it would be a lot better
haha no problem man... I play on alternate but it wasn't an easy task .. because after playing 5 years or more since GOW1 in default it was VERY hard to change haha :P
I love wrecking people when they try so hard like this to bounce and show off to get that kill when i just basically stand there and wait for the right moment and BAM!!!!!! off goes the head.

i've never tried the scuf so i have no idea... the only complaint i could have about the onza is that it breaks easily and for no reason... but if you have a warranty then its the perfect controller for any game

Nice bouncing, but I got some questions, how do u keep from rolling out while bouncing? Also, my sensitivity is at 30 30 30 and my character can't look around as quickly as yours... Could it be that I'm using an old controller that's not as sensitive as a new one? And lastly it seems like u can duck into cover from farther away than me
