Maaaan, I really dropped the ball on those other selections 🥲 I was looking to include dead rising, but I felt that since the game is pretty much solely based inside the mall, It would have an advantage over the other malls I covered 😅
That CS Go mall map is actually based on a real life mall in Slidell, Louisiana. I live near it and used to go all the time in the 90's, 00's and into the 2010's, even. It's still around but most of it is shuttered. The mall is actually a little bit bigger than this version and one of the wings used to have a movie theater back when it opened in the 80's. The mural in the arcade was added later as that is where the skee ball machines used to be. Classic Arby's in the food court that closed later on. A mix of old and new. Makes it a legendary CS Go map for me.
You should include the Saints Row 2, Postal 2, Dead Rising, State Of Emergency and Garry's Mod (Fanmade mall maps) malls in the next part. Also, I love that futuristic CGI picture on the background of the thumbnail!
Seeing Aqua Garden Mall almost sent me into nostalgia shock. First the stage itself which I've forgotten even existed and then that Y2k upscale mall vibe. Good stuff.
Bro I just lost a dog to cancer and my grandmother is battling dementia and I swear your channel takes me back to a simpler time and the amount of passion and dedication you put in your videos gives me more inspiration to keep fighting the wall of darkness...god bless you man... you truly are heaven sent :)
I’m very sorry to hear that, my friend 🥺 But it means the world to hear that the channel has been able to bring you some comfort in these hard times ❤️ A lot of channels that got me through hard times were what inspired me to start making content, so I really love to hear when these videos can make a difference! Just remember that we can’t enjoy the sunshine until we experience a little rain, and it’ll all get better soon 😁❤️
Anaconda Mall in Like A Dragon: Infinite Wealth is supposedly modeled after real mall in Hawaii but I can't confirm that since I'm not a Hawaiian. But I often got lost and forgot what I'm planning to do there and ended up just playing arcade games so it's pretty realistic in that regard.
rad walkthrough - inspiring me for an idea I had with GTA! love exploring weird dead/abandoned places in games. thinking I might make a whole series just for that
16:28 there’s escalators on the second floor, but fair if you meant escalators you could ride. A+ for mentioning tekken 4 because I think my brothers bought that AT a mall. Good memories
Ahh you’re right, I finally see it now! I knew they were somewhere but I somehow overlooked them lol. But Tekken 4 is forsure a legendary game. Some of the best level design in the entire series!
I wish they made a remastered Apocalypses when THPS 1+2 came out, Seeing how Thug1 and 2 let you get off your board and drive vehicles I could only imagine how cool the sequel to apocalypses would have been.
I was half expecting the first Dead Rising (including Deluxe Remaster) to be on here, as tgat gane takes place almost exclusivly in the Willamette Parkview Mall
Great video, but I strongly disagree with the ratings you gave each mall. There's no way that you gave the iconic Vice City North Point Mall a 5/10 but then you give the Tekken mall a higher score even though its only a fighting game and you CAN'T explore because you're locked into a tiny arena space with another fighter the whole time. And giving the mall in the Mary Kate & Ashley game a higher score as well left me scratching my head..........there's barely anything to explore in that mall, no way is it better than Vice City's North Point Mall. And you left out what is arguably the best in-game mall area of all time............the mall from Saints Row 2 (2008), thats easily #1
I was definitely biased with the Tekken rating, since it’s a very nostalgic level to me 😅 I definitely agree that north point needed a better rating, in hindsight! Also, I was looking to include the SR2 mall, but had a problem in gaining gameplay footage for it. That is a legendary mall in gaming tho! Tons of stores to actually explore
I don't get people saying malls are dead irl... where I'm at they are full often, so I can only imagine in the past if there was more... yall probably struggle to walk
Missed opportunity to visit the shopping mall in Saints Row 2. Great video as always and Happy Holidays.
Giving my boi ideas for part 2.
Ahhh, if only I could’ve gotten the emulation to work. I promise I tried 🥲 One of my favorite game malls!!
@ Theres a mod for PC version called Gentleman of the Row that really fixes up the game the best it can being that it shipped absolutely broken.
@@casualcadaver Postal 2 has a pretty awesome mall too, definitely include that!
@ Never played any of the portal games.
Dead Rising is obviously the best mall setting in a game ever. I’ve always enjoyed the mall in Crazy Taxi as well as Stage of Emergency too.
Maaaan, I really dropped the ball on those other selections 🥲 I was looking to include dead rising, but I felt that since the game is pretty much solely based inside the mall, It would have an advantage over the other malls I covered 😅
Vice City has a decent mall too

That’s really awesome. It was by far my favorite part of making this video. A very nostalgic place to hang out in 😁
I never would have thought that the Tekken 4 mall would be considered nostalgic.
Tekken 4 aged like a fine wine 🍷
You should include the Saints Row 2, Postal 2, Dead Rising, State Of Emergency and Garry's Mod (Fanmade mall maps) malls in the next part. Also, I love that futuristic CGI picture on the background of the thumbnail!
Definitely will! I appreciate you watching and glad you enjoyed 😁 Gonna do a part two forsure!
saw the tekken 4 mall and knew i had to watch
Aqua Garden is the place to be 😎🔥
2:42 when you're trying to use the escalator but just finished your shift at the grease factory
😂😂😂
Left 4 dead 2 has a great shopping mall
Might have to include that one in part two!
great random home page recommendation
Very glad you enjoyed! It was fun to make 😁
The mall in postal 2 is a crazy weird experience.
Gonna give it a look now 😎
This is such a cool idea, would love to see a Part 2.
You got it! Working on it as we speak 😁
In Tony hawk American wasteland they remastered the mall from pro-skater. So cooool nostalgia
Aahhh, I remember that! Loved American Wasteland
Seeing Aqua Garden Mall almost sent me into nostalgia shock. First the stage itself which I've forgotten even existed and then that Y2k upscale mall vibe.
Good stuff.
I wish it were a real place 🥲 One of the greatest Tekken stages ever!
Intro already made me sub, your uniqueness is a breath of fresh air.
That means a lot! Thank you for watching, and glad to have you on the team 😎❤️
Merry Christmas, my friend! Thank you for everything you've put out this year. Finding your channel really has been a blessing.
That means the world to me, brother! Thank you for always showing love, and Merry Christmas 🥲❤️
Damn, that Y2K Futurist thumbnail got me all worked up.
I did my best with it 😅

This video rocks! Your editing skills are growing each upload
I’m definitely trying to upgrade the quality over time! Thank you for watching as well, my friend 😁❤️
The mall seemed so cool in the late 90s early 2000s
It was genuinely one of the greatest places to be. Miss those times!
I just want to be thrown into a ps2 mall fountain, is that too much to ask?
It really isn’t 😂 I second that!

Ooo I’m def gonna check that out!
rad walkthrough - inspiring me for an idea I had with GTA! love exploring weird dead/abandoned places in games. thinking I might make a whole series just for that
and I remember and miss electronics boutique and software etc
You definitely should! It’s a lot of fun getting to explore these old games 😁
@@Vynsent the absolute CHAOS of san andreas (downloaded the remaster tonight) is pure mayhem. video incoming
Gotta do the saints row mall!!
Ahhh, I was hoping to include it! Had some difficulties in getting gameplay footage unfortunately 🥲
Don't forget the one in kirby.
I love your topics man. Amazing work
Thank you my friend! Very glad you enjoyed 😁

Merry Christmas my friend! 🎄 And I definitely see great things for the future of the channel! Just gotta get back that consistent upload schedule 😁
That was an awesome video! Gives me that y2k vibes.
Very glad you enjoyed! I tried my best to bring that vibe 😁

You’re not lying! Any time I can play as Bruce Willis, I’m all in 🤜🤛
Merry Christmas bro thanks for the chill content
Merry Christmas my friend, and thank you for watching!
I love videos like this.
And they love you too 😎
Max comfy 🤗
Merry Christmas, lads!
Merry Christmas, my friend! 🎄
to this day i wish Tekken 4 was real so i could feel it.
You and me both, my friend! What an amazing game 😮💨
I was half expecting the first Dead Rising (including Deluxe Remaster) to be on here, as tgat gane takes place almost exclusivly in the Willamette Parkview Mall
Gonna include it in part two!
Someone should make a horror version of mary kate and ashley magical mall mystery that only gets to the horror about 50% through.
Lmao, not a bad idea at all! The game was surprisingly entertaining 😅
Merry christmas from the 6th gen
Haha, I like that! 😄 Merry Christmas to you as well, my friend!
part 2 please
You got it! 😁
WrestleMania 19 for Gamecube has a mall stage
I’m definitely including that in part two!
I was very much expecting some dead rising in this video 😢 great video topic for sure!
I went against my better judgement on including it 🥲 I’ll include it in part two!
Dead rising is the best mall this game is vaporwave INCARNATE
Part two is looking real good right now 😏
I'm surprised you didn't mention Coconut Mall in Mario Kart Wii
I’m gonna save that for part two!
6:16 most pleasant Floridian mall experience
Just another day in the life 😅
THPS Mall in 1+2 goes all in on the run down look
Yeah it does! I really loved what they did with it in the remake
Oh here's one state of emergency.
I’ll have to throw that in the next one!
Good stuff as always man.
Means the world 🥲 Thank you!!
Great fun video to chill on Christmas. Happy Holidays everyone!
Happy holiday’s to you, my friend! 🎄🎉
Second Life lives!!! 😄😄😄
That could have been a great topic to cover!!
Great video very fun.
Glad you enjoyed! I’m not the best at commentating on the fly 😂
@ No bro it was great I think a longer play of some games would be chill.
Happy Christmas
Happy holidays! 🎄🎉
The thumbnail is so 2000s that couldn't help but click on it.
It was the product of a 5AM creative breakthrough 😅 I thought everyone was going to hate it lmao
@Vynsent WHAT DO U MEAN HATE IT? I LOVE 2000S STUFF BRO
I don't remember Vice City having a mall at all.
It’s got a great food court 😅
Damn old gta have so much interior meanwhile you cant do anything else after you beat the main story in gta V
They did have some really great map design in the older games forsure!
For the algoryghsm!
Let’s goo!!
Dead Rising.
Merry Christmas!
Same to you! Hope it’s a banger 🤜🤛🎄❤️
Dead rising.
I was aiming to include it originally, but tried to focus on lesser known locations 😅

Does Like a Dragon, have a mall? It does have a fire Arcade.
I believe it may, but that only going off of what little gameplay footage I’ve seen 😅
3,4,6,8 have it i recall
It's not retro but most of the Digimon cyber sleuth game is in a pretty big mall.
Maaaan, I love cyber sleuth. Probably the best digimon game by far!
Malls have gone downhill
That's for sure
I don’t like the new “washed out” look that modern malls have 🥲 I just need a fountain and a pretzel stand to keep
Me at bay!
I don't get people saying malls are dead irl... where I'm at they are full often, so I can only imagine in the past if there was more... yall probably struggle to walk
They won’t let me bring in my pet lizard 🥲
What? No Saints Row II mall?
Part two in the works 😏
No offense bro but Counter Strike is from the 2000's not the 90's.
I stand corrected 😅 Great game tho!
Where Dead Rising?
Gonna include it in part two! I was trying to cover more obscure malls in this one 😅
Stop trying to make fetch work
@@ecosmith7852 Huh? Tf
😂
What's that background music that's on when tekken is playing
It’s “Late Night VHS - Midnight Skyline” 😎
@ Thanks, shit was hard asf
