Soviet machinery is good overall, wait until you unlock mig 21 BIS, trust me, they can't handle 21BIS. If anything i would save money and get mig 17 premium. I had tons of fun in tier 5 destroying everyone with either MIG 17 or Mig 15 Bis, don't get me started with Yak30D. DEFYN is Playing vs Europeans, they are not good compare to USA players.
Don't worry about it. Most Russian jets are pretty fun, if not always very easy to learn.
In this game EU players overall are better atleast at the higher level. But there isn't a massive discrepancy anyway.
And no I don't just play vs Europeans

It's normally the inverse- EU players are better than if not equal to American players. Now on the RU or SA server, I would see your point.
@@MrSTROM26 pretty sure the stats are pretty close no matter what the region is. Last I checked regional stats for the EU is better. I'm pretty sure US and RU severs have always historically tied for last, ASIA and EU tied for first.

There's a bunch of console players bombing with it or flying like ten year olds (which they probably are, and just don't know any better), which is throwing the statistics out of proportion and keeping the BR down. This and the La-200 both need to go up by .3 at least.

Really love how informative your vids are. I've personally gotten up to top tier jets in several countries mostly America Sweden and Russia though for Russia my only top tier jets are su22 and yak38. I was wondering if you have a list of like the best beginner aircraft for each tier like what would be the best beginner jet and best beginner high tier jets as even though I've gotten so far I often struggle just to get a single kill every few games. So far my best jets have been f100d and yak38 but I played the f100 all last week and it just feels like everything around it got better while it stayed the same so even that I struggle to get kills now.
For early jets I think that the f-80 is one of the best intro planes. Its has well rounded performance and can help you learn early jets without pigeonholing you into a single playstyle. Only failing is that the m2 50cals are somewhat underwhelming by this point. For US I'd say that the f8u/f8e are good introductions to tiptity top tier. They have good maneuverability, countermeasures, decent missiles, and four of them. Do fine in both uptiers and downtiers. Same with the mig21 MF and SMT for germany and Russia. If you want other recomendations for other nations, lemme know - I just went off what it sounded like you had from your post.

I absolutly love this channel. i‘m new here and just the footage alone on those plane reviews helped me hit my targets more than every guide.
I just noticed you and I do the same thing with the last player, check their stat card to see what you're most likely to encounter when you find them. Does usually let you know to either expect a fighter or a bomber at the very least.

i think what really helps you a lot is your crew seems to be insanely high leveled. Mine just looks at 7-8 Gs and they pass out
If you are at 7.0 you should have at least a lvl 20-30 crew, which is enough to almost have max pilot skills

@@Beulena. My main air crew is level 24. My secondary air crew is level 11.5. My remaining 3 are 11, 14, 8.
I try to keep my planes on specific crews (Naval, Fighter, Interceptor, Striker, Bomber), as I play air sim and like having line-ups for the task needed to win the match.
I tried using my 11.5 for my naval line for F2H2 and it was torture.
I have unlocked the horten 229 v3 and honestly I love this plane i can make some kill with it depending the match ...
But I am blacklisting any enemy su-11 player, I suffered too much.
I hate the artifically bad dispersion on its MK 103's. It is pure suffering wiithout the weapons upgrade. I like the plane, but it got gajin'd hard.

I started playing my first jets that weren't Soviet (French ones) a few weeks ago. I was worried Su-11s would murder me constantly, but while I've seen a lot of them, I've yet to see a single one flown to its strengths enough to be more dangerous than any other jet.
As a p51h main, the su-11 is the bane of my existence. Can’t tell you how many times I think the su-11 is slow as I spiral climb to stall him out but they always get guns on me. You can’t run from them in the p51h, it’s very hard to play against the su-11

I genuinely have no idea why you'd ever go vertical with any jet--other than the Me262--in a prop. And if you've misjudged their speed like that time and time again, how haven't you learned from that already? Yeah there are a few extenuating circumstances when it's fine to go vertical, but like of all things an Su-11?
@@derkaiser9881 I would dive at 750kph on a low su-11 but they always muscle up to me and end up running me down. I don’t know how to counter them. Su-11’s are the only planes I have problems with

Although my first couple of games started of rough with this plane and me still adapting to its playstyle and especially the teams, my god, are they terrible
It took me a while to also realise the importance of me being in this plane, kind of being forced to carry every single game, it’s just better to not rely on your team.
I very quickly managed to get the winrate from my first 10-15 games from ~40% up to 80% with a K/D of 5:1 within 100 battles. (Air RB) The Su-11 is simply put a very strong and certainly, no doubt, an under-tiered plane. Also makes for an amazing SL grinder, just activate the victory wager or even the Thunderer one works, with your usual „last enemy bomber player in space“ just go for ground targets and make the enemy bleed out of tickets
Also, take 10 minutes of fuel, this immediately turns this plane into a mix of Me163 and Zero, the 23mm even with airbelts can destroy AI medium tanks from the rear and side, 5 37mm AP bullets per Light pillbox
For SL grinding the P39 N0 in the russian Tree is still king. One of the best purchases I've ever made in this game.
It is a good SL grinder but I prefer the La-7 dolgushin because I struggle to get kills with the 2 .50cals once I expend my 37mm ammo.
It's so frustrating why it is still at 7.0. I was almost sure it would go up after a few months, but nope!

This thing flies like an 8.0. Was fighting one in my spaded f-84g and it was pretty even... Until it dove away for 5 seconds and pulled enough energy out of its ass to get behind and above me before I even completed my turn.
I don't get how it's supposed to be a 7.0 with more than 1.6 times the engine power of the su-9 at the same BR.
I'd love to see you play out the Ki-44-II Hei in the chinese tech tree. It's so broken at 3.3. Im 3 deaths to 80 kills across 19 battles with a 94% winrate. It is disgustingly good.

I got not so long ago my first jet, the f-80. While having a decent match making with others early jets, against the su 11 you can do nothing: more speed, more acceleration and same turn. No shit the matchmaking is fair.

a bit off topic but the F2G is a great ground RB plane as it has 2 1000lbs bombs that can drop separately and it's a premium

When I first got it in the battle pass I kinda ignored the thing thinkin' "it'll be an ok plane, but nothing crazy" but I took it out a few matches like a week after that battle pass ended. That thing is a monster, and is genuinely super easy to play. Mad SL grinder, too.

the number of su-11s i have filled with 30mm from my kugel blitz and watched fly home is absurd
It is criminal that the Su-11 is 7.0, it has 7.7 performance. A few years ago Gaijin made a statement that no premium would be better than its tech tree equivalent this statement is blatantly incorrect as the Su-9 with worse performance is also 7.0. Russia completely dominates 7.0-7.3 with this plane, mig-9L and La-200. I have been playing the F80A for about 2 months and I find facing Russia with a lot of A2Ds, F84s and F3Ds as team mates my team is mostly dead before I get in combat. Also the Su-11 is only 1 BR step above the Me262! Good luck if you are trying to progress through the German tree as you will face these in a lot of games.

As one of the stupid fuckers that still flies the 262, i hate this thing. 30mm just spark or do nothing. I found the best way to dealing with them is to pair up with another 262, take max rockets and just absolutly saturate the airspace around any SU-11 with rockets from 2km away.
I startet Spading the R2Y2s on 7.7 and this thing is almost the worst that can happen when not uptiered to 8.7... 0.7BR lower than my plane (and the la200), better turn rate, more speed, more climb 🙄
Currently in the F3D-1, my winrate is 0% because every game my team is destroyed by the 3-4 Su-11s on every enemy team by the time I’m finished attacking ground AI
I do all of the things he says not to do in the video (getting cocky/assuming you’re going to win every engagement) and I still basically win every engagement because you can pretty much do whatever you want in this plane. Other planes at this rating you feel like you have to get in the right position and play to your strengths but this thing doesn’t have any weaknesses.

Can you do all air to air missiles ranking, which of them are identical (aim 9j and P for example, or shafrir and aim9b) which are more consistent or easily distracted so it is easier for new pilots like me, because there are alot of variants of missiles, but some of them have identical stats and stuff, thank you
I am decant or above avarage with early jets and below avarage with top tier jets, i grinded out entire us tree so looking to buy soviet premium with my spare GJN. I love guns on phantoms so i thought mig21s would be good but at the same time i am better at lower tier so su11 would be good as well, su17bmk might not be worth it after it has lost its air spawn. Whats your recomendation?
Now i know what to use event GJN for. It seems like a good way to grind enemies to pieces. And seeing planes die, especially american CAS is *chef's kiss* magnifique.

Hidden gem? This thing has been recognised as a notoriously over powered aircraft since release. It is arguably the most well known op premium aircraft after stuff like the xp50
i have got to BR 8.0 with ussr, but i have no ground pounder, and got a 20% discount on this, seriously considering it ^^ as it looks to be a nice plane even at 7.3, and it would help me a ton getting into jets with russia.

Lol, I'd like to think you got motivation for this video was from my mentioning it in my defense for the ho 229. This is arguably the only plane that the 229 has absolutely no contest for. Neither does anything at 7.0. It has absolutely no business being at 7.0 or 7.3, this is definitely a 7.7 class plane, on par or better than the Meteors of similar BR minus the guns. Gaijin must own a fleet of lambos from this thing. It's broken. Good video as always Defyn, still hoping for you to duel me in the 229 AND PLEASE DON'T PICK THE SU 11, though I would absolutely give it a shot, I bet you I could hold you off a good while.

just bought the 3 hour test drive today from warbonds shop. damn that thing is nasty, i just can't feel good when getting kills cuz it feels unfair. not gonna buy it, will be abusing la 200 though, not because i like being at an unfair advantage but it's one of the planes i want since starting USSR air tree.
btw about the af camping, why is it so hard for gaijin to just put an air superiority zone in every map so that it gets capped when the enemy is camping

Ive fought this thing in the f4u - 4b and the ONLY WAY you can kill it, is if they play cocky. NO MATTER WHAT you are always at a disadvantage.

Its just a shit P51D30 at the same br, its not particularly bad, just "normal" bad.

Also it's engine produces 2,340 hp vs the P-51D-30's mere 1,315 hp
But it's quite a bit heavier, loses out a little bit on climb rate, loses a ton of energy in turns, and so on
It also doesn't pull as hard but it's lock up at high speeds isn't that bad
People hate it mainly due to it's engine overheating issues which I think can be managed using MEC
It could be argued to be a better D-30
@@geostorm2860 So fast plane that goes straight and sometimes does boom and zoom. Sounds incredibly boring. The better turn and better energy in turns would make the P51- D30 better in my eyes, not to mention the better climb (even if slightly) which is incredibly important.

F-84/F-89 series jets give me the most issues in my SU-11

I don't want to sound like i'm whining or i'm bad (i am but that's besides the point)
so in GRB, i'm in my Swift F.1 providing top cover for my team. I'm in the middle of an attack run on the forward helipad and hey, guess what, an Su 11 turns up. Now granted i played appallingly, but in fairness i was, im gonna dead reckon about 100kph slower than him (for various reasons), and he's starting above me. I do kill him, just it is a right pain in the ass to do as he lit just goes vertical, printing energy it almost seems. Now the Swift F.1 aint the perfect plane, ik. but whilst i'm not a great player, a plane at 7.0, if correctly balanced, should be no match for a Swift. but it is. that is the worrying bit. and yes, it does come down to the fact i'm not a perfect player by any means. I'm not a 65% Winrater (iirc i am about 54-55%). but that thing.... what is it even doing at 7.0?

Pre-nerf I used to take a dump on everything in my Ho229 with one hand on my mouse and the other in my pants. F86 turnfight bait - rekt. F80 - rekt, SU9 - rekt, meteor - rekt. The SU11 did give me a hard time sometimes but still rektededed them.

What frustrates me about Air RB is that you have to be as good as Defyn to solo, and most of your teammates run away like the F-80 so you can’t even bait your opponents into an easy stall kill for them.
So most games I just die after climbing for 5 minutes, get no research, and get to load another game 😂
