    You, Beth, are 1 of my favorites to watch. I'm here to testify. An old dog CAN learn new tricks. And pass along to those musicians how much I love their music. ❤

    The 3 1/2 inch strips make the block and quilt come together so fast. I like that!

    You truly show how to use scrap fabrics or yardages you have stockpiled and need ideas. And I like how the ideas are simple and don’t involve massive math skills or algebraic recalls!!

    Hi Beth, paused for a moment to let you know how much I like the quilt behind you. The idea of using gray instead of white alternating is growing on me. And I really like how you used several (or more) gray fabrics.
    Always a pleasure to watch your videos and thanks so much for your time and effort for us quilters. Smiles from Maine.

    Hello Beth, great use of fabric for a quilt. I'm wondering how many strips did you make for this quilt? And what was the size of your quilt top? I couldn't find that information listed below. Thank you for your time in making this video for all of us in TH-cam land.

    • @bethshibleyquilts
      @bethshibleyquilts  ปีที่แล้ว +10

      The quilt top is about 60 by 80… sorry I did not slow down enough to take note of how many strips, etc. i like diving in without a plan 😊

    Hi Beth, I had a friend who had told me if this strip piecing. I t was many year ago and I wasn’t a quilter back then. After watching this video I see how it speeds up the piecing process. I haven’t tried anything like this before, I think I’m way over due and kinda embarrassed admitting that. Better late than never. 🤣 I hope you have a wonderful week, 🥰👍 Chris

    Hi Beth, I found your channel awhile ago now and love watching all the things you are making, especially scrappy quilts! Today, I noticed your extra-wide ironing board and was wondering if you would share what brand/model it is. Mine is old and rickety, and I'm in the market for a new one. A wider one may be the ticket. Thanks! (Cindy Ratliff)

      I’ve had my ironing board many years. I think it’s a typical size. Maybe the camera angle makes it look bigger?

    What temperature do you have your iron set at when using your wool mat? Also love your videos!!! I like the fact that you don’t talk unless you need to! You just get down to the cutting and sewing 😍

    Beth could you tell us the size of the strips you are cutting is it 4inches 21/2 inches so i can get your results new at quilting eventhough a longtime ago i made a pinwheel pillow.

    • @bethshibleyquilts

      Strips were cut 3 1/2”…. But you could cut them any size

    • @bethshibleyquilts
      @bethshibleyquilts  ปีที่แล้ว

      I pressed towards the gray so hopefully the seams would nest better

    How come your strip aren't wonky in the middle? No matter HOW, OR HOW MANY TIMES I FOLD MY FABRIC, THE STRIPS ARE ALWAYS WONKY IN THE MIDDLE 😟
