    Once again you have outdone yourself. I don't think I would ever pick out fabric that would mix so well.

    I see pinwheels and among the pin wheels broken dishes. It’s crazy that you could make either and get something similar. I really like the strip sets. They are art pieces.

    My vote is almost always scrappy. My favorite quilts tend to be the extremes, way scrappy or 2 color.

    This is very nice, almost serene. I like the blocks with the larger strips toward the center; just personal preference. Thanks!

    I like scrappy quilts such as this with a place (the neutral) for the eye to rest. While we all love colorful fabric, neutrals really help in transforming colorful fabrics from prior projects.

    Hi Beth! Once again, so fun-those stripes really add some pop! I went to a friend's yesterday to help her cut some t-shirts for a quilt she's making & got to go thru her scraps. I got yellows, pinks & greens to make your roses quilt! Still gathering scraps for that 😊😊

    After you pieced the first block and went to trim it, you turned the ruler a few times to find the diagonal line on the ruler to line up with the seam. Some new quilters might not know about this. Perhaps more explanation by you would be helpful next time?

  • @evelynelliott4485
    @evelynelliott4485 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Do you press to light fabric because of all the seam in your Scrappy squares?

    • @bethshibleyquilts
      @bethshibleyquilts  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes...It seemed the seams wanted to go in that direction and I let them have their way! LOL. If the background fabric was white...I may have disagreed.

  • @michellehall4502

    Im thinking of making this outta the joann flannel jelly Rolls. How many yards of the solid works I need

    • @bethshibleyquilts
      @bethshibleyquilts  ปีที่แล้ว

      I have not had a chance to figure that out for you… it also depends on how big your quilt will be.👌
