I have been using this monitor from almost two years; there are no complaints at all. Sharp text, very fast, rich colors Throughout my time with this monitor, I tried many different color settings. My current setting is Custom (B-32 or 66, C-52, CV-11, S- 5, gamma- 3, Ama-1, 2 when playing fps, LT- -2, and CT-Normal) very happy with these settings. I calibrated my monitor with the help of my phone display, recommend downloading the driver and ICc profile from Ben Q's official site.
@@bonniesimon14 I had to download the driver from Ben Q's site because the driver which Windows automatically downloaded was showing my monitor as generic pnp monitor in device manager. First of all, very good in depth review. I have had this monitor a while. But I don't think I've tinkered around with the settings enough to find the sweet spot for warzone. But with the latest update I've had to tweak things. I agree with the whites being quite intense sometimes. Especially being in certain buildings in Warzone and looking outside. Do you have a fix for that? Also, was your recommendation to enable G Sync? It's currently off for me. I've been using AMA 1 for a while. But earlier today I turned on blur reduction for the first time and honestly, I feel its better on than off. Better clarity etc. I just wondered would G Sync still make sense on AMA 1 with blur reduction on? I have a 1070Ti at the moment. And the game in question is Warzone. Any information would be appreciated.
Hey, loved the video, which video settings did you use for the monitor. Did you manually tune it or use the sRGB mode. If you manually set it, which settings got you the best color output? I have heard from other videos that the default mode it's put to out of the box sucks, and you need to put it on sRGB or manually tune it for best color output. that probably explains your srgb readings
Thanks! Yeah, that is a dilemma with this monitor. I have to believe that the sRGB is the best way to go overall. I actually forgot to put my settings up. I normally do. I will get those written out and posted. But in the end, I did use my own custom settings that are more tailored to gaming than anything else. But yeah, I agree with those other videos 😂

I just ordered this for black friday. I have PWM sensitivity so I'm not sure if this will work out but I'll give it a try. It seemed better than the other monitors and had the built in speakers. I was interested in Lenovo and LG but figured this looked the best. I'm going to be gaming on an HP Omen 40L. I'm new to all of this so I'm excited and scared at the same time!
bought it too on black friday for 180 euros. Played RDR2, UFC4, MW2 and NBA 2K and I'm pretty happy with it tbh (definitely for the price). Still playing around with the picture modes cause I can't decide which the best one is but from my humble opinion it's a pretty good monitor (I'm not a monitor expert and I'm playing on the Series S so 1080p-12O hz is perfect for me).

Do you have a problem with the screen or depth in games almost like its out of focus? Things look good close objects but further out it get blurry. I've messed with every setting and nothing is helping much.
The biggest issue I had was specifically with white balance. Other than that the image was super sharp. That being said, I probably spent four or five hours in total calibrating the display. So it can be a bit of a pain to get just right.

Yeah on console, 1440p still needs some work. When it is good, it is good. But when it isn't really baked into the game, it isn't all that great. The big benefit of 1440p is that you can choose to use 1080 if you want. But a solid 1080p monitor at 120hz is all around a great choice.
