That's cause it's a monitor from Sonic's homeworld of Mobius. It's not English. It's Mobiutian. This is a monitor DESIGNED to support the speeds that only Sonic the Hedgehog plays at.

@@markconway677 Yeah it's a nice monitor. Very modern looking. I've not played on the Xbox Series X on it yet but it's working. One downside is you have to turn off the second device to use the first device. What I mean by that is on my old Asus monitor I could have both the PC and the Xbox turned on an switch between them on the fly. With this monitor, you have to turn off one of the devices to display the other.

After gaming for a year on sub-par 1440p 144hz monitor, I have decided to "downgrade" to this monitor, for two reasons. I just want a great monitor, and I would rather have freesync(/"gsync"), great color accuracy etc. than the greatness that is 1440p. In addition, I realize 1440p would require too crazy hardware. I already have very decent specs, with a 10700k/rtx 3060ti. If I want to play the newest titles with a decent framerate (at 1440p) for the next few years, I would probably have to upgrade to a 3080, which is simply too expensive in my country (and of course impossible to get until sometime in 2023).

Hey TYC I have a question about monitors, I'm looking at a $350 monitor that has 100hz on it (3440x1440 VIOTEK GNV34DB) and in looking at the VIOTEK GNV34DBE the only difference between these two is that the E has 44 more hertz and it also is $50 more. Would you spend more if you're just a casual gamer and not want to worry about upgrading your monitor in the next 10 years?
