Hey Joe, just stopping by to suggest a topic, maybe a short video: how you hold pads/mitts.
There are definitely different ways to hold mitts/pads but was wondering what your "philosophy" on the subject might be: feedback, positioning, etc.

WE LOVE KICKBOXING AND WE LOVE YOU JOE! Keep bringing the passion that has made this superior sport come to light. I quit watching football to focus 100% on kickboxing. BEST. SPORT. EVER.

About numbering your episodes. Those are very helpful, especially for those who are learning it for the first time. Makes it like textbook chapters. Thank you, Mr. Joseph Valtellini. Thanks sir.

great video as always, thanks for the free knowledge. I've absolutely been loving the bazooka (dutch) style, it's so fun and different i think that it will be fun practicing

Joe, what is the difference between tradition dutch style kickboxing and bazooka kickboxing? Maybe address this in an episode of building hurting bombs. Thanks for all the uploads, great stuff.

    great tutorial as always, Joe.
question for you: is there a reason for always throwing the lead leg as a switch kick?

More range and power...by bringing the lead foot back, you create more range to kick and are able to torque your hips for more power.

if you want to quickly set up punches you can left kick with no switch, its fast but has no power

I definitely wouldn't say it has no power. i've driven some especially powerful lead kicks without a switch, especially coming off a right cross. The shoulder and hip rotation set it up very nicely to whip back around and throw the kick.
I think the point of bazooka is that it's for throwing truly devastating strikes, so the switch is primarily for extra power.
