  • Enrollment In The School of Transformation IS OPEN the 1st 5 Days of Each Month ONLY. Are you ready to start doing the inner work to break free of the side effects of cptsd, childhood trauma and/or narcissistic abuse??
THE MONTHLY THEME FOR APRIL IS BOUNDARIES!!!!
Thrivers School is an interactive monthly membership where we meet LIVE on zoom and we do the inner work together!!!!
We have cognitive learning, Q & A's and Group Coaching.
We have Somatic Modalities like EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) and Breathwork Sessions
And starting in May/June we will have biofeedback sessions.
The goal of Thrivers is to help individuals that have been through emotional trauma to have a place where they can learn how to shed the side effects of trauma and learn how to reintegrate and regulate both mind and body so that they can live life as who they truly are instead of who the trauma forced them to be!!!

Is there a way to do something like this while walking?

Thank you very much for explaining so much. How long does it take to see results? And how long should a self-programming session be?

Everyone is different - this is a tool that is helpful - there's no need to stay in a whole brain posture for long periods of time. What you want to do is bring up the old belief - let it be as big as it needs to be - really feeling those heavy emotions, then you will feel a calm as the whole brain state helps you to work through that - once you experience that calm you can finish that session.

I think maybe you can end up the other way - mostly in your left brain and you're left with logic and reasoning, but your emotional brain has basically shut down or hidden itself so you don't have the emotions available to work on with the reasoning and logic. The palm to palm posture does feel nice, like an intertwining.

Yes - it can be an either/or situation - but either way - when stuck in those half brain states - we are not able to be our best self =( I'm glad you enjoyed the posture!!!!

I wish there was a time stamp to the part where the actual posture guide is..

This is a technique from Psych-K. It is better (and more responsibly taught ) by taking the Psych-K course.

Thanks so much Michelle. How long and often do you recommend doing the whole brain posture for to install a new belief?

    • @cptsdrecovery
      @cptsdrecovery  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

So it depends on the situation - if you are in the whole brain posture and you feel a lot of negative emotions - stay in the posture until they reside =D. You can do it daily if you are working through a challenging circumstance or you can use as needed!!!!

@@cptsdrecovery OK great thanks. So you just say the affirmation and if things come up you just let them ride through? Then you can keep doing the affirmation for awhile to reinforce or if there is so more things coming up does it mean that the belief is installed?

Is there scientific evidence for this technique, btw? I can't find any research on it. Yes, about brain waves, but not about how this position would work.

    Hi Michelle
    Thank you for the video.
I do this exercise and patting my hand saying the affirmations.
My body reacts really heavy on it.
Crying, gagging, and a lot of insights and memories come up. I feel sad. It feels as if al old energies get released. I do it for 3 days now. I hope this gets less.
For how manny days you have to do this is my question?
Thank you Michelle. You already helped me so much in my proces of healing.
    Kind regards from Amsterdam

      Saludos to Amsterdam!!!
So I'm glad to hear that your body responds to it =D
There is no black and white when it comes to this posture - if you are dealing with a reoccurring issue- continue to use until you see a change in yourself regarding this issue =D
