    In this video I install the Cab Over America wireless cab lights on a 2017 Silverado 1500. The lights use 3M adhesive and operate via a bluetooth remote. They cost just under $400.
    There is a self contained LED/solar panel module. That charges during the day and ready for use at night.
    Very happy with how easy these went on. Higher on the price spectrum but when the alternative is drilling holes in your truck, these lights get high marks from me.
    These lights compliment the switchbacks on the Boost Auto Parts tow mirrors we installed on this truck.

    I picked up a set of these last week. I just could not see drilling 15 holes in my trucks roof to appease my aesthetic Jones. Sure, these are pricey but consider the drilling alternative and these lights are a bargain.
    The folks at COA are excellent and the personal care given by them harkens back to a time when customers mattered.
    I mounted these in less than half an hour by myself, though it is recommended that you have help. After familiarizing myself with the operation of these lights which revolves around them becoming out of sync with each other, the process was simple and quick.
    Let’s be honest, very few installers of wired lights do the job professionally or efficiently which can lead to problems ranging from leaks to electrical shorts at some point in the vehicles life.
    These are non issues with the COA wireless running lights. The quality and support of these lights and this company are top shelf and I recommend them highly.
    If you dread the drill-bit rooftop nightmare, consider these as an alternative without fear. One thing I will say in advance of purchase is that in my case with the smoke lens’, the entire lens does NOT light. Only the face front has illumination which for my taste works best, making them more subdued but this should be mentioned.

    I’ve never had luck with sticky tape on a hot surface. I had a dash cam where I used provided 3M tape. I prepared the surface as instructed before mounting. The hot sun, even in the winter time would drop the camera and leave it hanging by the wires. These are a little over priced I think too. I use automatic car wash weekly, if I had these I would put 2 small sheet metal screws on each light with waterproof silicon on each screw. I’d pay $200 tops.

      B Hall if you’re good enough with electronics I think there is a way. You ultimately need to use a relay that is trigger by your running light to “talk” to your cab lights. Somewhere on the internet there has to be pieces to make that connection. It’s just out of my realm of expertise.

      @WaterFowler41  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      When our went out of sync, I drove a block from my house with the ones that were out and hit the button to correct the phase.
      The trick to keep them in sync once installed is to slowly and deliberately press the key fob button. Their is a slight delay between when the lights turn on and if you hit the buttons to fast, your out of phase.

      Sorry for the inconvenience once we get them sink for you you make sure you push the on but until they all come on and if one fails you pushing the second time that way you won't throw them out of sync now what you do is take all of them to flash that you can then shut off the ones that were not on flash take 200 yards away take them to flash then off bring them back to the truck now there are all synced I had to do it twice myself before I learn how to use the remote. The alternative is drilling huge holes int he top of our trucks. At least with these lights A. I am not drilling holes, and B. I can remove them and sell them when the truck is traded in for some $$ back.
