Thanks for sharing, I've always wondered if it looked decent. But I would like to see some sort of adaptation to not use the cigarettes lighter, since I use it to plug in my fast charger.
If you cut the power wire from the LED kit, then use a "wire tap" to tap the power from the cigarette lighter from behind the center console, That way you can still use the cigarette lighter and won't have any wires or wire connections visible. Also the LED will automatically power on when you turn the ignition to the "On" position. Just tap the Cigarette lighter power wire (specific to your car) to LED kit power wire, then connect black or other wire to a ground, like a bare unpainted metal screw. That should do it.
I wish they could be connected to the door switch. It would look amazing and part of the car if they would turn on if any of the door opens, and turn off once doors are closed. Is that doable?
That is absolutely doable just tap in to the fuse or wire that controls your vehicles entry lighting system and viola ! And in my opinion this is perhaps the most professional type of install.
@@nso10monnn I just bought a cheaper setup on Amazon. They are not RBG, just Ice Blue and wired the red wire to the driving lights. So that come on when the driving lights are on.
Super easy - rips apart half the car

@@user-neo71665doesn't the door switch have only 1 wire? Did that work for when the door opens?

You can connect more than one if you have 4 door? So each side has 2 lights (8 total)?
