I agree, cab lights just look better. What switch/button turns the lights on, though? You're not using the auxiliary lights button over by the airbag switch. ETA: I read the whole tutorial you linked and it said the cab light turn on with the parking lights. Thanks for the video and forum link!
If I’m right the connectors are the same from 03-14 the styling is the only thing that changed. The harness I have is for an 03-07(classic) but the lights are for a 07.5-14
It will be the main plug that plugs into the passenger side dash you just swap the 2 wires! That is if your adding 07 and up cab lights. If your adding 03-06 cab lights you won’t have to swap anything.
@@XxBumWizardxX there should only be 2 pins in the harness. If you’re doing the 07.5+ cab lights just swap them around. If you’re keeping the 03-07(classic) cab lights you won’t have to change anything.
I'm trying to find the lights like yours with the plugs. I bought the harness you listed, but the Amazon link is for blue lights, not white, and there's no mention of plugs. I don't want to get the wrong lights.
I haven’t been able to find the exact ones I got.. www.amazon.com/DNA-Motoring-CBL-CSIL07-CH-W-Center-Light/dp/B071F8Z932/ref=mp_s_a_1_2?crid=2M7H8JUTUMJAW&keywords=07+silverado+dna+motoring+cab+lights&qid=1675116855&replacementKeywords=dna+motoring+cab+lights&sprefix=07+silverado+dna+motoring+cab+lights%2Caps%2C97&sr=8-2&vehicle=2007-47-491------------&vehicleName=2007+Chevrolet+Silverado+1500 . I found these but they’re chrome housings. Any cab lights like the ones I got (for a 07-13) should have the same plugs for the lights.
Looks killer ! I did the same thing to mine. Hardest part for me was getting the stones to put holes in a roof that’s completely fine 😂
Right! Lol 😂

No problem! And correct they work just like factory and turn on with the parking lights!!
How did you get both park light bulbs to come on at the same time did you just wire them together??
Yes but there’s a little more to it than that lol I have a video on how I did it! th-cam.com/video/hS_Yueelm0k/w-d-xo.html
Do you have to use that exact light setup with the harness or any will do?
Any will do! It’s a factory 03-07(classic) cab light harness!
Hey I got an 03 as well but I’m looking for amber cab lights with the same connectors to that harness how would I know if hey have the same connectors

Man that truck is looking good, has all the mods I'm planning for my lbz, as far as the bumper, tailgate trim, mirrors and cab lights.
Have you had any problems with the cab lights since you bought them?
No issues whatsoever!!
@@ZPTVChannel would you think they would fit on a 2014 Silverado?
@cylo2288 if I were you I would get 2014 style lights. I think that’s the year the body style changed. But the harness won’t work with that year.
Buying an 01 1500 tomorrow. Where did you get your mirrors? And hook up those lights on them?
Boostautoparts.com they custom build them!
Here’s the video of me installing them! NEW GM Style Tow Mirrors on a 03 Silverado!! Boost Auto Parts!!!!

I did exactly that but they don’t turn on at all. Is there a fuse that would cause that?
What harness did you buy?
I bought the linked harness. I also looked at the forum but can seem to find a blue wire that needs to be switched any help ?

Ok thank you

How did you know where to drill the holes?
The write up linked in the description tells the measurements!
