Matt reviews a "full bolt on" Audi S4. The Supercharged V6 has a host of new power upgrades, and the suspension has been improved in numerous ways as well. A super well-rounded build.
For all the haters, I have a b8 s4 running Apr software on 93 Oct and ran with a C7 a couple weeks ago and they were dead nuts even 60-160+... Stock M4 to stage 2 b8 is pretty similar in straight line performance, Audi may edge a little but a tuned M4 is a monster. Also M4 will out handle a fully modified S4 any day. Cars shouldn't be compared though as what I paid for my car plus 10k in mods is still half the price of an M4 before any tuning.
The nice thing about Audi's is that they drive so well all the time, even modded they are very compliant. It's hard to trust them on the street sometimes if you do not know where the limit of handling is at. I've tracked a B8.5 and B9 S4 at VIR and they did very well. You really have to throttle on and cut the wheel as much as you can to neutralize understeer, especially if equipped with the sport differential. Can't wait for a cracked ecu tune on the new B9 S4. Eurocode and SRM are currently working on a hybrid turbo setup with the burger motorsports piggyback.

Awesom build! M3 was always my dream car but I went with an S4 did some mods and never looked back. With a few mods I'm loving the AWD and the interim fit and finish

If you have a video set to private and then make it public it doesn't show up in sub boxes at all, it just appears from the date that it was actually first uploaded - You should schedule the upload and then it'll all show up properly...

Stage 2 Apr and exhaust should put it at 470hp I know stage one alone without exhaust or pulley adds a 100hp. They don't make a fuss about going fast like bmws do and that's why you don't think it's as fast but the thing flies. I bet u this build would shit on an m3 all day long

T Hof Audi’s don’t fall apart like BMW’s do at higher miles, and the s4 is a 335 competitor, not the m3. A friend of mine bought a 335 and s4 back to back. His 335 had nothing but fueling issues so he sold it and bought a s3. Now he drives a s3 and s4, and hates BMW’s....
I sold my first S4 only because it was getting up there in mileage. My 13 S4 was sold as I wasn't driving it due to a accident. I'm still off work however I hope to get back driving & working soon. Anyway.....
Joshuabrutl I like the S3 but I don't love it like I do my 09 Boxster S and my 07 GTI. They cut some corners on the S3 which really p^ss me off. They didn't install the overhead button for the garage door opener plus a few other things. Anyway life goes on.
Yes!!! So many people don't understand this. they are like yeah 335 is so much better than the A4 and the M3 is so much better than the S4, because now they don't have the RS model in the states so everyone thinks it's a piece of crap
+Colby Perry The RS4 is slower in a straight line than a modified S4. People want power. To the majority, the S4 is a more appealing car. I do agree that S4s are compared wrongfully with the M3 a lot of times. On the other hand Audi gets some face back when people are comparing (wrongfully again) the M135i/M235i with the RS3 :)
+Mzn T Yes the S4 is comparable to a BMW 335. Although a Prestige Class S4 will run you a little over 60K. The new M4 is around 85-90K which is in my book absolutely crazy for something that only has 435hp, Hell if your just in it for speed and track work. Get a used GTR for 65-70K, or a C6 Z06.. which depending on where you live are around 45K.

I bet that tune he was running 6years + ago was hitting peak boost an the bypass was cutting the supercharger big issue with a fully built car maybe not today though with fine tuning & tweaking.

This is a nice car, tastefully upgraded and I enjoyed looking and hearing about it. I wonder what the insurance and tax costs are in the US for cars like this. In Germany, depending on the insurance company and you "accident free time" it will probably cost you with basic insurance about 600-800€ a year. If you want some extras like Kasko it will likely get up to 1300€ or more. Tax is around 220€ a year. And using 10l/100km you will pay 1,50€ per litre therefor with 12.000 km a year around 2000€ for gas.
Exhaust, downpipe, tune, Ko4 turbo if you need to replace, suspension links. Shocks maybe? Always keep the spark plugs fresh, air filter clean, and oil changed. Keep coils on hand. Bigger turbos are adaptable.
+akoskaxxx That's because Matt started filming these on weekdays for that specific reason; no one else on the road.. The roads were much more populated when he filmed on the weekends, but that often led to getting stuck behind civilian cars which no one likes.
thewhitebrother17 stock clutch goes out when u go stage 2 I tried to launch mine twice and both times it the clutch slipped so I won't be launching any more I too will end up getting the same exact clutch he got from eurocode.

+DFKnightmare It's not a full custom wheel I don't think as far as design, it's just a custom offset. Because running a good offset to get perfect fitment is a much better and safer idea than running spacers on a daily driven performance-oriented car.

Have this motor on my A6 and even with the extra weight, car is pretty quick! That blower is amazing when pushing the car!

thewhitebrother17 stock clutch goes out when u go stage 2 I tried to launch mine twice and both times it the clutch slipped so I won't be launching any more I too will end up getting the same exact clutch he got from eurocode.
thewhitebrother17 i'm sure your A4 makes so much more torque than this supercharged 3.0 v6.

Matt asks if it has been reliable, the guy says "oh yeah it has been reliable!" the guy has barely put 10k miles on it. im sorry, but 10k miles is not a very long time to determine if it is going to be reliable in the long run. and he said his stock clutch was going out before 50k total miles? learn to drive with the third pedal, or just stick to the paddleshift auto

Custom wheels instead of spacers...why?
+DFKnightmare It's not a full custom wheel I don't think as far as design, it's just a custom offset. Because running a good offset to get perfect fitment is a much better and safer idea than running spacers on a daily driven performance-oriented car.
