Nice work. That looks like one of those total PIA products to install. Super expensive but not designed well. The new owners will learn to hate that gas stove. I have the same model and it is so weak because the grill is so high all the heat goes around the pot or pan.
CHeaper ones I've installed are better built. This is just for looks, it won't even catch all the fumes from the stove.
Did you say you put water behind the drywall???
