Investigators are trained to gauge a person's reaction when accused of a crime. His was the appropriate reaction of an innocent person. Guilty people will of course deny, but typically do not get angry or act in disbelief they could be accused....he did Note: no idea if he did it or not, it's a bizarre case. Eye witnesses are often wrong specially upon recognizing a young child, but anyway the father shouldn't have received life without parole with no body, no dna, nothing to prove the death of the child, even if he was an abuser. I think that the weapon he made to discipline the children was very bad for him in this case.

That's because the father is the last person she was with. That's what ALL cops do. It's usually someone close to the victim, who gets investigated...and usually are the ones that did it. Not sure about this case tho, since the police work was shit...at best. I don't know why some people would think this is racist, since one of the cops and the JUDGE weren't White, but Black.
This is happening more & more. Homicides being determined suicides so a new case isnt opened & added to an already overwhelmed case load. These are human beings not just a # or a part of a case load. There are some in law enforcement that refuse to initially act on a person reported as missing. They are not qualified to determine if a stranger just ran away or walked away from their life voluntarily. It should not be within their job scope to make those determinations that can manipulate their work or case load. 9 times out of 10, the path of least resistance will always be taken & when it comes to a human being's life at stake, no matter what color their skin is...that's UNACCEPTABLE, UNETHICAL & MORALLY WRONG. At the very least this dude needs a vasectomy stat. Not only does he need to take care of his 7 kids, he needs to stop making anymore.

I remember when this happened. I was working in Detroit at the time. The office I worked at was in the same area she supposedly went missing. There were dogs outside our backdoor, helicopters flying around. It was devastating to hear a sweet little baby was involved.
I thought for somebody to be convicted of a crime, it has to be beyond a reasonable doubt. Throughout that trial there was nothing but doubt. It's scary how easily somebody can be convicted of murder and sent to prison for the rest of their life. Especially if she turns up alive someday.

This is happening more & more. Homicides being determined suicides so a new case isnt opened & added to an already overwhelmed case load. These are human beings not just a # or a part of a case load. There are some in law enforcement that refuse to initially act on a person reported as missing. They are not qualified to determine if a stranger just ran away or walked away from their life voluntarily. It should not be within their job scope to make those determinations that can manipulate their work or case load. 9 times out of 10, the path of least resistance will always be taken & when it comes to a human being's life at stake, no matter what color their skin is...that's UNACCEPTABLE, UNETHICAL & MORALLY WRONG.

Somethings to point out that could have been done, 1 they should of looked at everyone in her family as usually someone close to the family has something to do with it when a child goes missing, 2 why wasn't a sketch made of the person who supposedly stole the car, 3 why wasn't any of the leads of reported sightings of the toddler investigated. 4 why was no one still searching for the toddler especially because a body was not found they should of still treated this as a missing person case. And one last thing why are the family members not worried and conducting their own searches and doing they're own investigation as to where the toddler could possibly be at if they believe she's not dead and still missing.
