Most prisoners go before the parole board *several times* before they’re ever granted parole. Additionally, many people with a sentence similar to his is never granted parole; and they remain in prison until they die.

Omg I had a similar story of a abusive bf I had to wait til he was sound asleep and I grabbed my 1 year old and took a few of our things and left at 3am in a rough neighborhood walking to a bus stop to get away from his crazy abusive ass. I was scared to death I was gonna get killed.

It broke me when her daughter said, "She's all that I have!". I could feel their frustration, panic and fear through that 911 recording. Actually it irritates me that the 911 responder seems indifferent but I understand that they need to be calm for the victims but it makes me more frustrated because it feels like he is not working faster. I know I know..it's just I feel like I was the one there with them.
I wish I would have been that smart the first or second time I was in abusive relationships.. growing up, people never schooled us on that..they never said if someone treats you like this, this is what you should do.. it was almost taboo to talk about back in the 80s and 90s.. Currently dealing with a man just like what you described..its so hard getting out of it even when you gather the courage to leave. There is a constant fear that they will come back and take your life and its terrifying living with that fear...I pray my two daughters never have to go through this situation. It breaks my heart hearing that girl plead for help for her mother....

I spent many nights sitting on my couch with a 38 in my lap bc I was so scared he'd come for us. I always had the men in my family with me anytime I had to meet up with him. He stalked my girls & I for 9 mo before he finally took the restraining order seriously & left us alone! It was the most freeing feeling!!! Years later, I've met my soulmate, he isn't perfect but he's the most gentle & kind man I've ever met. We have a great relationship with none of that screaming & fighting crap, we actually sit down & have an adult discussion & fix the issue. When you find one like this, snatch him up bc they are a rare find!lol Best of luck to you!!! Be courageous but also smart!!😊

The court systems broke I lived it with my parents dad and mom got a divorce when I was 5 and she got spun on drugs hard the court system knew she was on drugs but still made me live with her. That's easier said than done in an abusive relationship as you can tell from this video. New York State is I believe a little different in the determination of 1st degree Murder. 1st degree is reserved for a specific list of offences like the murder of a police officer, prison guard, firefighter or EMT, correction officer, judge or witness, or murder for hire (and a couple others I can't remember). Lacking one of those criteria its Murder 2nd.

5 children, multiple abusive fathers ...someone was a poor decision maker. There is one common denominator in the story and she is no longer with us. The mother in no way deserved to be murdered but playing with a volatile man's heart, pride and bank account isn't the smartest thing to do. You don't seem to know a lot about narcissists because they reel you in and smoother you to the point where you have nothing left, not to mention when you're being physically abused you become so afraid of the abuser you don't know how to leave.

New York State is I believe a little different in the determination of 1st degree Murder. 1st degree is reserved for a specific list of offences like the murder of a police officer, prison guard, firefighter or EMT, correction officer, judge or witness, or murder for hire (and a couple others I can't remember). Lacking one of those criteria its Murder 2nd.
That's how it is around here. Very backwards. It's esp sad with obvious casees like these brushed off as ultimately unfortunate when it could have and should have been prevented against genuinely decent wholesome people. 5 children, multiple abusive fathers ...someone was a poor decision maker. There is one common denominator in the story and she is no longer with us. The mother in no way deserved to be murdered but playing with a volatile man's heart, pride and bank account isn't the smartest thing to do. Jumping from man to man while on another man's bankroll is never wise either. I hope the daughters dont follow this cycle in their own lives. It never ends well.
