So, you believe he fought for years to get custody of his children who wanted to live him because of their love for each other, and their mother was not regarded as responsible enough to have custody, just so he could murder one of his four children? He went through all those years of heartache for his children's future, just so he could kill one of the children he loved so much?
That makes absolutely no sense. For some reason, you made your decision before knowing the facts. And then you get the facts, but you still don't believe it?
There is something colouring your perception of what you were just told, assuming you actually listened to what they told you.

I can tell u from experience that they most certainly drug tested him at the jail after his confession and even if they didn’t, when u get on probation/ parole u HAVE to do a drop test on DAY 1 bc some results are LEVEL based (like weed, it’s in your system up to 30 days but the level isn’t as high on day 2 as day 28). If he already had coke in his system they would’ve knew that on day one bc it doesn’t stay in your system5 days. He probably started dr*gs after he k!lled her. His prior dr*g conventions may have been for w33d and not c0ke or dealing (based on that bag of cash).

I was just telling someone about Janell’s case last week. It’s crazy this popped up on my feed this morning because I’m supposed to go see my doctor, the office is on the same road, not too far from where Janell’s body was eventually found. Can’t help but think of her every time I go. This clip didn’t touch on half the mess that case was/is. There’s a disgusting clip of the mother being interviewed, rumors are brought up about her husband having something to do with Janell’s disappearance to cover up possible sexual abuse. Mom gets mad saying it’s not true “why would he mess with her when he has me?” She was 💯 jealous of her daughter & desperate to keep that loser of a man that she happily agreed to get rid of her. Leon got out of prison & moved in with them in April 2015 by SEPTEMBER 2015 they made the first of at least 3 attempts to hire a hit man to take Janell out. The last attempt was like 4months before they just did it themselves April 2017. This is definitely one of those stories that will make you question your faith in humanity. Smh As far as I know they still haven’t settled everything in court. Everything kept getting postponed for one reason or another. I know this comment has gotten kind of long but there’s still so much more to the story. If you have a chance look up Latania Janell Carwell. She deserves to have her full story heard & remembered. Ultimate betrayal by the one person that should have been the most proud of her intelligence, beauty & potential, instead she was just jealous to the point of murder. Smh

I have Lupus and I don't give af about an excuse to protect my child and if she was too sick to protect her child she should not have had noooʻ energy for a man and one with his past regardless of ANYTHING. In the story, they say he fought for custody of his children, and had full custody of his children.
I am a person who believes in serious, appropriate punishment for breaking the law. I still have to think about how any one of us would feel if we accidentally injured or as in this case, God forbid, accidentally kill our own child. 😢
I couldn't imagine not letting the parent go to their child's funeral. Even if they had to handcuff and shackle the parent and gaurd them with an armed police escort. I just think maybe this was a small town and the prosecutor wanted to throw the book at him, and try to make a name for himself. Trust me he needed to go to trial and be judged by a jury of his peers and serve whatever time they and the laws of that state find appropriate. He was reckless.
This is such a sad case. That little girl was sweet, smart and beautiful. She was an innocent little soul who should still be with her sister and all of her family.

Everyone is talking as if this man was walking around with the gun when his daughter entered the house, evidently you all weren’t listening” he had fallen asleep in his room, when his daughter came home” did you guys not notice what his daughter was doing, she was tiptoeing through the house” sat her bag down quietly . Her plan was to tiptoe up on him and scare him playfully. My husband and I have six children, we have had them to sneak up on us and scare us like that” my youngest daughter scared me so bad one time, they had a early release day and I didn’t realize it” this child snuck up me and grabbed me, I went into immediate self defense mode” and literally knocked her on her butt. Thank God I got a glimpse of her, and was able to pull back on my strength somewhat. We had a talk with them after that, because she could have really been hurt. Unfortunately his daughter never answered when he called out who was there, when he went to see suspecting someone was in the house, not one of his children” he retrieved the firearm. When he’s leaving out of his bedroom door, she jumps around the corner and shouts boo” and grabs at him and he fires. That was truly a tragic accident, and it wasn’t reckless “ having lived it several times I know. He immediately did everything thing that he could to save his little girl, and that’s just how he carried her” she wasn’t angry at him, because she knew the part that she had played in it happening” if she had answered her father when he called out, it never would happen happened” then we know what preceded after that. It was a truly heartbreaking set of events, that they should not be trying to railroad him for “ sometimes you have to walk in the other person’s shoes, if you can do that’s then your not so biased about their situation” it’s the very reason there was a Hung Jury. Blessings 🙏🏼

I’m gonna get to her before she even arrives to a gun battle, or I will call her and tell her DO NOT COME HOME! Stay at school , go to a store, or I would be calling a family member to go get her! Something is not right about this! Why would you just assume someone is out to get you? Did he receive phone calls or texts? Why didn’t it come up in court! No evidence supports he was expecting intruders! I know one thing tho! If someone plans on coming to my home doors would be locked! Couches in front of the door! All that! I think he was molesting her or something and planned this out. If he thought it was an intruder how did he hit a short child in the chest. He aimed that gun low purposely to kill her.

The defense claim another left the gun there because he was drinking, doesn't match with walking around on the phone holding the gun. And he must have been on drugs when he shot her; her size would clearly indicate indicate it was not an adult to fear. He hit her in the chest, so he had to have pointed it at her. chest.

He need to be held accountable for his action.
First off he lied when he shot her and then used drugs when on bond and then use white powder ok.
