I am not defending this guy, what he did was disgusting, but i'm saying it is easy to say that he should "accept his punishment" when it is not you getting a life sentence. Like his lawyer says, the media does damn you nowadays. You not not innocent until proven guilty anymore, you are now guilty untill you can bring forth some undeniable evidence that you did not do it. I did 4 years in Angola state prison and trust me, everyone says they are innocent, but I did know a small hand full of guys that were legitimately innocent that were doing anywhere between 5-50 years because of the media and the "mob" mentality this day an age.

If that father was any kind of daddy he would tell the mother the TRUTH, why is he so vague on the facts of the carjacking - why did the carjackers steal a car to drive one mile? If they wanted a baby then they steal a baby not a car, they would have had no idea there was a child in that car, even seeing the carseat doesnt mean the child is in the seat - according to the "man" they wanted his CAR ... how can the mother not shed a single tear over her baby girl? She didn't display any tears, however, she was very sad and in anguish. Extremely dysphoric.
The problem I see is, she has been brainwashed by that convict. She was misdirecting her anger. Her sadness and anger should have been towards that murderer, in front of her, who killed her daughter. Not at the people who spent countless hours and efforts to help her. She is in denial. She needs to talk to a therapist. Truly, she is weak and pathetic.

Most children are murdered by a relative or someone who is known to the family. The baby's mother is a fool for having a child with him in the first place; he has 6 other children with 6 different women - he's a deadbeat dad who abused his other daughter too! RIP sweet baby xx

no he doesn't... he deserves what he got which is life in prison without the possibility of parole. he needs to spend the rest of his life contemplating about what he did to his own blood, also he needs to abused by his other inmates to feel the way his child felt. I hope he gets what he deserves in prison. I'm a father of two children... and I can't even think about doing something like to my own. if anything, I want them to be better that I ever will be.

That is a terrible set up in that courtroom. The defendant should not be seated that close to the prosecutor's table in that position and the court officers should not be that far across the room from the defendant. If he should decide to snap,he could take a life within seconds. It has happened before. He could easily decide that he has nothing to lose at this point and go on a murder/suicide mission.

DaOrigTruthSeeker That actually did happen here in Atlanta Ga, A man by the name Brian Nickoals took the gun off the guard, shot the judge , and a stand by and ran out the court house to the train station etc.....when I was working at fulton county jail...the guards would not even warn me that he was walking down the hall and guess who walked him to the clinic, an old man in his late 60's with no assistance ........imagine how I felt when I looked behind me while pulling a medical records chart

I guess they kinda lay there guard down and just let him walk through that day.But if he wanted to, he could have grabbed me....but I guess his mind was made up about his circumstance.....I heard somebody was giving him pizza and cell phones.....

People don't rape eachother in jail anymore dude, its not like that anymore. And this guy is a big black dude, he will most likely be in a black prison gang where he will be protected. All black people stick together in prison, no matter what they did on the outside. I am not defending this dude i am just keeping it real about prison life. There hasen't really been "shower rapes" since like the 70's-80's. I know because I did 4 years, never once seen a guy get beat up and raped. I have heard of guys having sex when they did not want to, but that is because they were manipulated into it because they got into debt with some gang and it was either they give sexual favors, pay up, or get beaten up daily until they pay or die.

You know this was a really sad thing. He's right, All they want is a conviction and it was going to be on him. I don't know why they said guilty when there was no evidence that he abused her and that she is even dead. How can they sentence him for the death of a child when they don't even have a body? How can they say he did it when there is no forensics? I feel that its a flaw in the judicial system even though for a family member it brings victory. BUT he did mess himself over by calling the judge by her first name and what not. I hope that his daughter is found and that she is found alive, and that she can speak for herself about what happened and her relationship with her father etc. If she can attest that her father hasn't abused her (only disciplined), then I hope that they do what they are supposed to when it comes to clearing his name, and PAY HIM as well as give a public apology.
