You got it! Love the mount for the Dual Sonars at the front! Sweet setup too because originally got the 5 inch rise then added the dual plate once I got the 2nd unit! Love it! Amazing quality!
It’s a ton of fun. Takes some learning and adjustments but I feel with the color limit now it will be even more clear with the firmware update! It’s changed the way I fish for sure.
I just spent over 2000 dollars I had nothing but trouble with it I'm very sorry I bought it right now that's a lot of money for me to spend I thought it would help me catch some fish I'm going to try to get it working
@@RhinoJoeOutdoors yes it did. Unfortunately for me I have yard work all weekend and a birthday party for my daughter next weekend so I won’t be able to try it for another 2 weeks.
New 2.57 update increased my Amp draw significantly. Cuts my battery by at least 60%. Now my lithium 20ah only lasts 4 hours instead of all day. Be aware if you have a small battery, you will need to add another one if you update. I do like autoghost but it's not worth the hit on run time.
Wow this is great information I'm going to have to research this more as I can't afford to loose battery power I already have it running concurrent with 2 Batteries and it last all day, but my troll motor is connected to those same batteries. Don't want to sacrifice amps for that 👍
Thanks for the update. My Garmin units are networked. I got that same weird simulator content missing message and preceded on. The sim mode worked great on my livescope but did not work on my side vu and down vu anymore how about yours?
I will have to call tech support my side and clear vu are just showing not available now and will not let me go to the menus for either side or down vu.

Awesome video, very helpful. I have 4 garmin units, 2 with Livescope and I haven’t updated any of them since I bought them years ago. I didn’t know that was an option. When you update the unit and everything is complete, do you have to leave the Sd card in or can you take it out? I use a separate sd card for all the custom maps I’ve created
@@Azmiiiiiiiii yes, but the next question would be so do you have the livescope transducer+black box or just the uhd 125sv transducer? If so you don't have the capability to run livescope, but for another 1500$ u can get livescope to work on that headunit

I only used it so that I could sync active captain App to it. But I'll give it a go without formatting. And if it doesn't work properly. I will format it then re-upload.. thanks for the tips I will share your page with my live scope buddies!!! 👍
I did the update today 93 sv. My simulator for sonar doesnt work missing files it says no traditional no side vu no downview..panoptix simulator does work thou. I updated with the app. Then didnt it again with the card. Same issue. Anybody else?
@@RhinoJoeOutdoors its the uhd 93sv with the gt54uhd transducer..i contacted garmin waiting on their email. It did freeeze up on me and shutdown by itself too. A couple time loading the charts if i zoom around . Would like to find out to uninstall the sofware or go back to the previous to see if it fixes the issue.
@@edwinlaing9834 Yeah hopefully its a software issue. Hopefully they get back to you and help you out. I have heard good things about their customer service. They seem to have more issues with their units than Humminbird.
I think the balance is to use the color limit to clear it up some but not completely. I don’t use mine for ice fishing so I don’t know how it impacts that.
ok found out today ..under sonar setup - appearance- you have the( color limit) (new) and to get that blue screen back (color gain) that color limit restored that blue screen i am so used to ice fishing ... these settings adjust on the same tab appearance menu ...

My question is if I turn on the simulator mode will it throw off my setup....I know if you turn on simulator mode on a Lowrance it's almost impossible to get it back to live screen.....just got the same unit as you and also did the software update but haven't made it out on the water yet but will be tomorrow
@@RhinoJoeOutdoors I'll message you after I get off the water here on Lake Fork and let you know how the update works in the East Texas lakes.....most of our lakes where I live are pretty clear and have sandy bottom so not allot of merky water

Just got my Garmin 93sv with LiveScope setup on my kayak. Can't wait to take it on the water next week and try it out!

When I put my card in I didn’t have the update software tab but I don’t have my live scope set up yet
Maybe because it doesn't sense you have the livescope module?
Did the update on my 94sv plus and there’s no color limits on my unit.. wonder y? Mayb The file wasn’t loaded right onto my SD card?
Double check the update you installed. Then check the versión in your settings

i own a Garmin uhd 125sv but for some reason when i click on sonar i don't see the panoptic live scope sonar it doesn't show any idea why
You can try a factory reset and double check everything Is connected and getting good power. Make sure no fuses are out etc.

It depends on how it was formatted initially. Different formats are compatible with different devices.

Let me do some research. Do you have the original 93sv? Or the. We’re one with the UHD? The one that I have I just got around Black Friday.

only good thing with this new update is auto ghost tree...... color limit sucks
