If you’re wondering how to increase salary in private company or how to increase salary in corporate job then this video is for you. In this video, I covered 3 great ways through which you can increase salary or command a high salary in any corporate company over the course of next 10 years. High salary jobs in india are very limited and if we think about the high salary jobs for next 10 years, then we will see a lot of jobs which will prefer experts in place of generists to take up these important roles.
How to increase salary in a company? You can do this by first starting to build an expertise in an area you have some interest in. I built my expertise in the area of analytics and later moved with that expertise into marketing the field in which I was interested. This is to say that I was able to do a lot of things which I earlier could not because of the expertise I focused on in the intital part of my career.
The next on the list in upskilling. Now the nature of upskilling has changed drastically. If you are thinking about how to increase salary in TCS or how to increase salary in Accenture or how to increase salary in IT then the answer to these questions will depend on how well you are able to navigate the changing IT industry landscape with respect to the advent of AI and the Jobs AI is going to replace. Because of this, upskilling is no longer about doing high salary courses or just going after some coveted high salary jobs in India.
Right now in the IT industry or any other industry for that matter, upskilling is related to constantly learning new things regularly and implementing them in your daily job activities. If you want to learn how to increase salary in software industry then you should focus on how you can make yourself more useful to the industry rather than just stick to one company for a long time. There are mixed opinions about job change because if you quit a job too early then you come across as a job hopper, while on the other hand if you quit a job too late then you come across as a person who is not motivated or driven enough in life.
To counter this, you should lookout for new opportunities while also keeping in mind that you are working for a considerable period of time in a company. How to increas salary in Infosys or how to increase salary in the software industry will depend on how you can go about salary hike negotiations during job transitions. Slary hike in IT companies is pretty low but you can navigate that by working on your expertise. Salary hike 2023 and salary hike 2024 haven’t gone very well for IT employees but you can hope for a change in the future if you do better in salary increase negotiation after working on your expertise and matching it with your interest.
Hope you find this video valuable, see you in the next one.

Hey guys, I am starting a "Problem Solving Challenge" on TH-cam community.
    1) Every weekday, I post a question on my TH-cam community at 7 pm IST.
    2) The question is designed in a way to improve your structured thinking and also I will keep the problem more "business news focused"!
And will post my version of the answer at 10 PM IST.
    Ground rules:
    1) You should not spend more than 3-5 minutes for solving the question.
    2) You should share your answer in the comments (on that TH-cam post).
    3) You will feel that "You are not learning anything" for 1-2 months. But, then the compounding benefits kick in after 1-2 months. And you will realize the benefits.
If this works. I will create more such "small activities" that can improve your problem solving muscle.
    - If you are you interested to participate, do subscribe to the channel and enable the notifications so that the challenge is on your feed everyday!
    ******
Will start with the first problem on my TH-cam community from 28th Feb (Wednesday):) Do check and share your answer!
If you are interested - like this comment. I will also know the excitement:)

@@akhilperambuduru2243 You can do your SWOT analysis.
      Strengths
      Weaknesses
      Opportunities
      Threats
Mark all of it in a paper for example if your natural ability is in ENGLISH then pen it down accordingly.

Choose the industry which has high PE, price to earning ratio. Higher the industry PE, higher the salary. Other aspect is whether the industry is stabilised or is it booming.

What if you are learning a lot but you are underpaid? This for someone with 3 years of total experience in the same company.

    • @PavanSathiraju
      @PavanSathiraju  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

Underpaid by how much? Is the culture good? If you go into the job market - do you have offers with 50% higher salary?
Do you think there are other benefits that come with this job?
The answer to your question is not straightforward. I will personally prioritize learnings at that experience level (unless I am grossly underpaid).
