On this channel I have shared the harsh reality of IT Jobs and also how the work-life balance in IT Jobs is not good enough. However, in this video I share some tips on how to achieve good work life balance in IT Jobs and how you can mitigate the harsh reality of IT Jobs and Tech Jobs as an IT Employee or Tech Employee. Layoffs 2024 have not yet stopped and this makes using this IT Job aspiration checklist more important than ever.
All IT Employees and Tech Employees are worried about Layoffs 2024, Tech Layoffs, and IT Layoffs that are happening across IT services companies like TCS, Wipro, and Infosys. We have even seen tech layoffs at product companies. Amazon layoffs, Google layoffs, and Microsoft layoffs, are some of the important examples in the list. An IT Company Job is already difficult but working in this situation makes it even worse.
This is the IT Job expectation vs reality scenario where you expect that once you get an IT Job the road ahead would be slightly easier. However, the IT Layoffs and Tech layoffs happening under the Layoffs 2024 cycle have brought out this harsh reality of IT Jobs out in the open. In order to deal with this harsh reality of IT jobs you need to focus on the aspirational goals shared in this video which every IT employee can pursue to make their IT Job slightly more bearable.
Reality of Tech Jobs and Reality of IT Jobs shared on this channel is an attempt to give you the real picture of the IT world and Tech World without any sugarcoating. Knowing the reality of tech jobs can empower you to make the right career decisions as an IT employee or Tech employee for the future. You can watch other videos about the future of IT industry in India, and future of IT industry in general to gain a greater insight about the recent IT Industry news.
IT Industry news is often rife with TCS news, Infosys news, and Wipro news, but you generally don’t get a full picture of what is happening in the IT industry. On this channel, it is my attempt to share with you the right perspective about the reality of IT jobs and reality of IT industry so you can make the right decisions about your IT Career. Hope you find this video valuable, see you in the next one.

If you are working from India, better work with European clients, If you work with an American client and you have to do a night shift, your health and circadian rhythm will go for a toss, moreover European clients in general give more value to work life balance

But you forgot,.....if client is Indian then geography, timezone doesn't matter, it is always inhuman pathetic

Started working with US clients back in 2007, experience was mixed. After that have worked with clients from different countries. Experience depends clearly on the people we interface with. Aus, European clients are easier to work with

Hi Pavan - I worked for European clients for a very long time. It was a conscious decision as i was a new mother at that time. While work life balance was decent, the flip side is less to no learning and exposure. It is very hard to grow your business with European clients. If a person wants a decent life as well as learning, I would recommend clients operating in EST time zone. Insist clients on starting their day with you. It works well. One call out is EST also gets tough during day light saving

I migrated to Australia just because of work culture. I really like to work with Aussie people. They are really nice and working with them is really fun. But best is to work for product based companies. In consulting companies if its well known Indian consulting companies then you will get similar experience as India. 😢

Sorry to say this but your videos are kinda scary. I am 24 and just starting my career in IT industry and your videos makes me feel so bad that i entered into IT. Make sure to add some positive aspects of IT industry also. Because not everyone will face this kind of negative situations. These videos makes me feel weak to face IT industry. I feel like our life will be hell and there is no hope. I just shared my thoughts and feelings. Thanks

Now a days all industries are hell.
You just don't know about the shit there.
IT industry is little less worse hell. It gives better packages comparing to other industries.
While working save as much as you can. Don't commit bank loan for anything.
      Good Luck.
