Can't Agree More. And thanks for making this video.
As a victim of this corporate dirty politics i would like to share my experience.
I as a top performer got less percentage hike and 0% bonus in this cycle. Whereas the guy with average performance in my team got almost double the hike percentage i got and also 15% bonus. When i asked my Lead she said that all this things are based on various things you can not just ask for hike and bonus on the bases of your performance. Not only this she also said you should not discuss all these things with others it's an HR compliance issue. And also she tried to kind of threaten me by saying that your this action can be escalated to HR Policies non Compliance.
So, After all this i decided to drop my resignation paper.
Anyone out there who is facing the same problem/issue as i did my only advice would be to just leave the place where you are not valued.

@@kevinmathew2973 Office politics is present everywhere. Maybe some countries have it worse than others. Europe is definitely worse than India, US is better. (It may be surprising given the image we have of Europe having better worker rights, but that is the whole point. When you limit how much a person can work, everyone works similar hours and has similar productivity, and thus who to promote becomes manager's discretion. This is why you see so many Indians as CEOs in US but not in UK despite UK having similar % of Indians)

I am facing mental haressment from my manager even worse than you have mentioned. He creates unrealistic situation so that I can't perform and collecting such points for appraisal meeting and to show it to my M2 manager. He dont talk to me at professional or personal level. If 4 persons are sitting on a table he will talk to everyone except me. It started when my M2 manager assigned me something which my manager was suppose to handle but he refused. I handeled the job well. Now he finds for every opportunity to portray me to my M2 as if I am not working properly. He also has bias (favour) towards people of his ethinicity.
