Some people's situation differ from others. I want chimaira back but we don't know the individuals personal life's. When I watch these videos I feel how bad they still want it. But sometimes life gets in the way for good or bad. I believe if it was a matter of choice, they would still be making records. But again life does happen and sometimes it's not fair. I'm still so happy to put on chimaira. They are my fav band. Over eminem. Yeah! It's like that! Who tf is wu-tang or Metallica lol. Support by enjoying there music. When the time is right they will return. A million mf a day ask for chimaira to return. You guys, they know we want them back ok. I sure as shit would get sick of seeing people on a daily basis beg for the return. Maybe it's not right for them right now man. However, I'm so happy to see how many of us still love the chaos machine that is chimaira. Would of loved to share a stage with them. I'll be the guy in the back air drumming every single fucking tune, hoping I get asked to prove myself. Then I could die knowing I set a goal and achieved said goal. That won't ever leave me. I don't want it too. I'm hopeful. I played harpos probably ten times and I remember when that seemed impossible for me too. Nothing is impossible. I play and play and play and play with a goal in my mind, regardless of how far fetched it may be, I'm aware of that. But the drive cancels all logic and reason

I can only imagine how different touring would be these days from the last time chimaira toured. The world seems like such a different place....

I really miss Chimaira. The first time I heard them was Pass Out of Existence and I was absolutely hooked. I even saw the Farm Club recording. I felt like they were very unique and when Impossibility came out I was blown away and spent every day after that turning my friends onto them. One of my friends (passed away)that was wheelchair bound and he loved Power Trip so much that he would hangbang and he got so into it one night while intoxicated he damn near fell out of his chair. Such great memories. Id do anything to be able to experience that again. Or cruising around town(our small town had a constant stream of people who would cruise on the weekends) and jamming to Pictures in the Gold Room as loud as we could.
They were one of the first bands my older brother exposed me to. I'll never forget my ears ringing all day in 3rd grade after hearing power trip for the first time. Definitely my favorite band. Chimaira set the tone for every other band I've come to love.

I'm so proud of Mark Rob. Mark did a fine job filling in for Randy. Someone posted a video on here of the show in full and I was thinking Mark hasn't lost his touch. A little rusty at times. Which is expected of course. Other than that my hat goes off to Mark. There was lots of comments on here and all over Facebook saying that this may just kick start Chimaira again.
Chimaira was one of my favorite bands growing up. Still love you guys! Respect man

I was at that show and it was so cool to see Mark perform live since I've missed out on seeing Chimaira. I remember seeing the post from the LOG page saying Randy wasn't gonna make it but Mark was filling in and I got really excited and Mark did awesome
Everyone out there was so lucky to see a legend on a metal stage, even better that it was a LoG gig! Historical moment!
I was there that night in GR, front and center in the pit. Mark did a fantastic job and I appreciate him stepping in and allowing us to still see LoG that night!! Thank you again Mark Hunter.

Good to see Mark getting some action lately on the stage. Chimaira to this day is still one of my favorite metal bands.
Lamb of God and Chimaira are two of my favourite bands of all time, so this was a match made in heaven, might have to get down to Manchester (UK) to see them in December 🤟🤙

No band will ever reach Pantera but Lamb of God are right behind them in terms of a metal band not going commercial but filling arena size venues. Mark killed it and deserved it!!!

That's badass! I still love Chimaira especially in the gym. Such brutal guitar and drums and Mark's vocals are so visceral and aggressive. You can hear the raw passion in the form of blistering intensity. I'm betting those fans didn't leave that show disappointed 🤘🏻

Respect for Mark H for stepping up in 24 hours to do that for LoG. It's not and I mean it's not easy. I had to do that for a band once but I had a week to prepare to learn their set. No where near the level of LoG just a small local show but it wasn't easy. I had cheat sheets on stage to make sure I dont mess up. Mark Hunter rules!!

I'm so happy he got to do that, and I'm happy LoG outright considered him. Saw the tour last week in Laval (Montreal), Willie was out for the Canada leg and replaced by Phil Demmel, that was interesting. Having never seen Chimaira live, I was really jealous to see Mark filling in for that show, but at the same time Randy is so precious in this world, he's such a cool dude and his energy is just so fucking contagious on stage, so I couldn't really complain. But it still wouldn't compare to seeing actual Chimaira live anyway, so I'm still hoping that happens. Any news on Andols since his last interview???

No, Mark's health has been fine for awhile now. There's just a ton involved with getting the train rolling again. Far more than meets the eye.

Top 3 metal vocalists? Mark Hunter, Thomas Lindbergh(at the gates🤘🏻) and Anders Friden. I think Cleveland shares some spirit with Sweden. We’re generally pretty neutral, and definitely have both produced bands that shaped heavy metal. , I stand with my implements of destruction, as an army of me, with the eyes of a criminal, ready to stigmurder, out of pure hatred, on a power trip that leads to salvation, and resurrection. 😂😂😂 fucking awesome, and some of my best memories of being a teenager at peabody’s, catching skip line, 216, erase the grey, and a little band from Cleveland that I still think is just waiting to come back, and destroy. So what happened with you guys? Like you guys should have been bigger than LoG, you were wayyyyy better, never actually softened up at all. The absolute best of the entire New wave of American metal scene was/is Chimaira. I got too old and bust with life to pay attention to what goes on in the metal scene, and all that I've found to read is Mark's article a few years ago about the BS that labels pull in regards to pay. So you all should get together for a video and tell what let to Chimaira ending.
And hey a new Album would be sweet, or even a classic lineup tour.
