2000 for me. Heard them on "Midnight Metal" (101.1 wjrr) Saw them the following year at the House of Blues in FL.
Midnight Metal was my savior when I was locked up...one night they played the entire 1st Killswitch album and I was so damn stoked@@ltipt121

I discovered Chimaira back when I started learning to do metal screams and all..
I always come back to Mark's vocals and get blown away by the songs, the riffs.. The drums.
This band should have been HUGE.
I think this album has Andols' best work he's ever done. He wrote some amazing drum parts for this album.
He fucking kiled it, his sense of groove on this album really came thru
No lie this DVD is in my Xbox one x right now. That opening Andols lick is straight fire.

I remember myself younger seeing for the first time Andols playing this intro drum part (1:52) , I was so stunned and amazed by this performance like I heard drums for the first time in my life.
Same here. I remember rewinding that part a few times the first time I watched this.
@@sgtouring I remember seeing them play in Toronto during the early part of the Impossibility of Reason tour. I know he said he said he was really struggling with his playing during the tour. That particular night though he was a goddamn machine. One of the best shows I have ever seen. Small club as well, so I was right there watching him and everyone else.
It’s pretty simple. Just let him do his thing. Don’t tell him how to drum and he’s fine. LIKE ANY PERSON.
Own this dvd and watched it pretty much every day for a year. My complete love for Chimaira solidified. Will always Love you guys and all that you created together.

I'm 56 and just went through a heart attack and double pneumonia in November of 2019, then open heart surgery for 9 hours in Feb of this year. Your videos and music have made a difference in my life, and for that I am grateful. Can't wait to see the new studio tour!

This band was one of the first I discovered back when I was a child and trying to find "hard rock" on TH-cam. It was almost 15 years ago and now I'm 26 and still listening to Chimaira. I will listen to them all my life I think

Chimera is one of my all-time favorite bands I always thought they were completely underrated extremely talented musicians and I'm so glad that andols came back to play drums I'm a drummer and that guy is freaking phenomenal
This Album + DVD had a huge influence on me, don’t even know where to start. Made me want to go into recording as well, i mean Suecof, Lewis and Sneap on 1 DVD? Easily one of the best metal albums of our generation.

the Resurrection album is an absolute masterpiece. The previous album of 2005 was unrealistically good, but this one, in addition to high quality, also pleased with a variety of approaches to music and a mix of genres
This album made a big impact on me in High School, Andols is one of the reasons I wanted to play drums. This album is still super important to me alongside the self-titled album. Seriously hope Chimaira comes back one day. The world needs some Chimaira again.
I'm 39. Been a fan since I heard cleansation wayyyyyy back in the day. TIOR and self-titled, to this day, are two of my favorite metal albums of all time. Goddamn I would kill for another album with the line-up. Thanks for the tunes 🤘🤘

This was always awesome to see.. I have this documentary in my Resurrection CD package.. I remember watching this many years ago and trying to be like you guys. Many hours came and went via watching this and The Dehumanising Project DVD. ;-)
I started learning guitar around when the dehumanizing process came out and i watched it repeatedly.. these guys were such an influence on me and this too was so awesome to watch you guys evolve and recreate a little bit if that behind the scenes magic again. I know I have this DVD somewhere but thank you for posting love this! Seucof also huge influence

This was one of the best ‘making of’ DVDs ever in my opinion. I still own it in the original digipak and still love it. I haven’t watched it for a little while, so thank you very much for bringing it back to mind. The whole thing has such a great vibe. The only DVD of this kind that could almost match it is the making of Sacrament by LoG.
Chimaira is still one of my favourite bands. These albums will forever be in my playlist, and it sucks ass that I know there won’t be anymore. The heaviness, the groove, no one else can compare.
This record was such a big influence for me and my band, such a killer album. Great to see the work behind the scenes, love the content that you're publishing Rob!

Finally a high quality version of this! Have the Coming Alive DVD that includes this but can’t beat the convenience of TH-cam. What a great look at such a special time for the band and, in my opinion, one of the finest metal records of its time. Six, Empire, and the vc title track are all easy Top 10 Chimaira songs for me.

I loved Chimaira back in the day. I always used to watch the Dehumanizing DVD drinking some brew on Fri and Sat nights. Somewhere I must've missed this documentary. I always thought Andols was a beast behind the drum kit and Rob you're a kickass song writer. Horns up brothers \,,/,

Loved watching this and seeing how this album came together and getting andols back.hey rob,or should I say"shreddy mcfuntits"aka "secret fucking shredder".suecoff mustve been a blast to work with.this was a pivotal cycle for chimaira.I saw you guys tour on the infection cycle and hearing songs off of resurrection band the infection was so fucking awesome.cant tell you how many times your art kept me going even when i didnt want to.

Resurrection was the first Chimaira album that I bought back when I was in High School. First exposure was Impossibility of Reason that my brother had got when he was in Iraq in back in '03-'04. This album changed my life and really got me into metal. Been a huge fan ever since. I gobbled up everything since with my favorite thing being the signed The Infection metal case with all of the goodies in it.
Rob, you were also the reason I bought my first guitar. It was a used LTD, can't remember the model, that I got from Guitar Center. Thank you for being awesome!
