Thank you so much for this video! I was able to use this kit with the Scuf Reflex Pro and it works great. My Scuf controllers right DPad button had to be pressed harder to work so this clicky kit helped relive that. Thank You!
Great great instructions!! Was able to get this installed very easily because of this guide. I had a couple issues putting it back together because didn’t realize some of the ribbons had to go through a slit. Also the ribbon with the rubber thing really messed me up for a bit but got it done. Thank you! Works fantastic!
@@woahh.curtiss not sure but I’ll check tonight. Seems like everything else was working fine including the speakers on the controller. I was worried the share and start button would be disabled because the board didn’t have buttons for those 2 yet it works no problem.
Let me start off with that I love your products so far! Even though we got off in a rocky start. But let me also state, for the love of GOD, go back to the 4 individual actuators that go in the d-pad like you still have in the other face buttons, the four-way one piece rubber gasket for the D pad in this kit makes it feel very sloppy and disconnected, especially since I also purchased your split d-pad kit installed on this controller, I can feel a big disconnect when trying to press my buttons, d-pad just doesn’t feel as good as the other face buttons…
i can also attest to this. i just bought the split dpad with the clicky kit, and i was under the assumption that they included the 4 actuators for the dpad. the rubber gasket sucks and the dpad feels nothing like the other face buttons.
They can't really make this for either the Switch or Xbox controllers because neither uses a ribbon type setup like this. Theirs are built into the board instead. It's a bummer.
I just have a quick question for the community . Installing this kit as shown above disable the touch pad swipe am I right? Because I installed this with the extreme rate touch pad . & the touch pad works but the swipe feature is not functioning at all . Was wondering if this is due to removing the old board and installing clicky one .
So I have installed the clicky face buttons and they work properly for the most part. I notice that sometimes that my Triangle button seems to just stop working for a little bit before it goes back to normal. Is there a potential solution to fix this?
I had issues with the triangle button too. I found that slightly loosening the screw underneath the R1 bumper helped. I think having it too tight puts too much pressure from the controller shell on the the button.
So I got the rise remap kit the colicky face buttons and the hairline trigger l2and r2 clicky kit everything went smooth and works great all except my mic in my headphones after the install any ideas to fix this?! I love how all the buttons work and everything just curious if I may have tapped something and messed up the mic?! Any help would be great thank you!
ok, I have another question? So I know that when I buy the updated version and use it on the old model will work according to you, but why does the video say skip this process at 7:10 if the process isn’t supposed to be different? And sorry for milking you with questions but does the rubber pad behind the d-pad make the buttons feel more stable or does it ruin it in some way?
Hey extremerate! when facebuttons for switch will come out? i want to mod the hell out of my pro controller, but there are no ready solution for clicky face buttons! there is a vartiants to wire clicky buttons and replace membrane with plastic, but i don't want to do this, i instead want to just add/replace part to add clicky buttons! i hope that you will release it sooner! (it's my birthday soon, so i want to do my first ever mod after it, but there are no options for clicky face buttons)

This needs clarification, as reasonably many people still have BDM-10 like myself and would appreciate the certainty before we get this.
I have been using it for a long time, but for me it is too hard to click, maybe try using softer switches like in Vader 3 pro they are clicky but very light to push
I have a version 1 PS5 controller with this v2 kit, works fine, but this new v2 has 1 big rubber gasket for the dpad instead of the 4 individual rubber pieces that go in the dpad with the v1 kit, I’d prefer to have the individual actuators over this one big rubber piece, just doesn’t feel as good as the other face buttons that have individual actuators

@@BiggieJ4224 well this v2 kit, or the BDM-020, which isn’t what I ordered, but that’s what they sent me, comes with a one piece rubber gasket for the dpad, eliminating the individuality of the BDM-010 kit that has 4 individual pieces for the back of the dpad, making it less clicky, and you have to push the button much harder to get it to actuate
I've used both now.... I didn't notice too much of a difference. But the clicky triggers.. Theres a major difference from the original to the tactical version
Hey, can anyone help me ? I just ordered two of them. But what i would like to know is, do you need to put more pressure on the buttons to press it and get the input then the standard stock Controller or maybe is it less? Thank you in advance
Yes you do have to press harder - my right thumb is actually kind of sore because I’m not used to the harder clicks. It’s still worth it for me for fighting games but I probably would use my other non-modded controller for everything else.

I would recommend you go for the tactile clicky triggers, 3,5 times less press travel for the triggers (from 7mm to 2mm) you can say goodbye to trading in fps (unless everybody has this🤣), the dawn cannot beat that, and the clicky feels awsome after you get used to it. Definitely better for shooters, and just have a second controller for non shooters.
