Domino is lucky because she absorbs the luck around her and that's why you see all the carnage around her. She gets lucky while everyone around her gets unlucky.
@natsohigh5552 Domino subconsciously generates a psionic aura around herself that alters probabilities, causing her to receive “good luck” while her opponents suffer “bad luck.” This causes improbable (but not impossible) things to occur within her line of sight, and can vary from having an enemy’s equipment malfunction to hitting just the right button to shut down an overloading machine. While she cannot consciously control this ability, she can activate it by placing herself in a situation in which she could be harmed. 😅😅 Try again
I think Deadpool 2 is even better then the first. One of my favorite scenes was the interview with Domino: "Luck isn't a super power." "Yes it is." "No it isn't." "Yes it is." etc.
It's not that it didn't make sense. It was the antithesis of Deadpool. The one thing he is known for is his smartass funny quips(and basically immortal). So the bad guy goes and solder his mouth shut and gives him a bunch of superpowers and brainwashes him into a mindless servant. It was a mockery of the real Deadpool.
Ryan Reynolds actually was the voice of Juggernaut. Also, I love how the only mutant whose feet actually touch the ground alive is the one whose mutant power is luck. And, who noticed that Shatterstar said he was an alien and when he dropped into those helicopter blades and his blood splattered on the windshield, his blood was green?
the end scene with wolverine is because theres a wolverine movie and the villain is deadpool but his mouth is forced shut so he says nothing the whole movie. By deadpool shooting him he's saying the movie sucks and hes fixing the timeline
There are so many call backs to old marvel characters in this one, that's what I loved about it the most. Cable was one of my favorite comic book characters. Dominio is a character called Neena, and it first came out in 1991. The vanisher first appeared in his own comic all the way back in 1963...so on and so on. Basically, all the characters marvel wrote out of the xmen timeline when doung their movies.
Many like Dave Matthews and see him as much as those who saw the Dead. Many others despise Dave Matthews. There is not much in between. That's what Deadpool was talking about to Terry Crewes
Suprised you didn't realize the lyrics of the song sung during the fight scene when Juggernaut starts messing stuff up at the last act of the movie. "OH holy shi balls oh holy shi balls!"
All of the team DP puts together are in the comics. The best reference to other characters is when he says “zip it Thanos” to Cable. Same actor for both.
The Icebox is one of 4 super prisons. They are The Icebox, The Vault, The Cube and The Big House. The last one is interesting because it was designed by Hank Pym and is a Miniaturized prison.
Hong Kong, my crippled butt. That's Vancouver. The fight is in a hotel called the Shangri-La. I know this because I was living on the West End where it was filmed. Very authentically Vancouver.
I'm sure I watched a Christmas Deadpool were the kid from the princess bride (now an adult)is strapped to his childhood bed.having the Deadpool story read to him.
cable is the son of cyclops and jean grey in the comics. his body is being taken over by a futuristic disease which transforms the body into a machine overtime.
The music is always fantastic in a DP movie. But, please do a reaction to Celine Dion's video, Ashes, the theme song for DP2. . . . and make sure you're watching the official version . . . all the way to the end.
In the movie "X-Men Origins: Wolverine," Ryan Reynolds played a different version of Wade Wilson. That explains the timeline jumping Deadpool stopping by a timeline to kill off a different version of himself during a fight with Wolverine and commenting that he is just cleaning up the continuity.
I love the first Deadpool. They took that origin story and cranked it to 10. Deadpool 2 has Cable though, so we already know it's been cranked to 11. These movies are so good at finally including something for everyone, whether you get all the little quips and Easter eggs or not. It also has grit, which most movies are almost afraid to show these days. The third Deadpool is one of the only things I am looking forward to this year for Marvel or movies in general. I fear it may be the last good movie because of all the Disney drama.
Celine Dion just went 350% on that theme tune (which was made specifically for this movie, and reportedly writing it helped her through some of her own personal tragedies)

If no one has said it before, the Vanisher is played by Brad Pitt. You see him briefly when he is being eletrcuted on the power lines.
Ryan then made an appearance in bullet train!
Brad did the scene for a cup of coffee.
