He'd also pause the movie to take multiple smoke breaks. We wouldn't be able to finish one movie in a single night.
Domino's luck certainly is cinematic, and super dark, actually. Did you notice her good luck seemed to coincide with someone else's bad luck? Turns out the reason she's so lucky is that she's stealing it from those around her. In the comics it's more straightforward, it's just one guy that gets all her bad luck. Deadpool 2 is a great sequel that lives up to the first one. It has a lot of funny moments as well as some great action. Ryan Reynolds is still amazing as Deadpool and Josh Brolin does a great job as Cable. He was way better as Thanos though.
I remember watching this in the movie theatre, and then walking out to the same neighbourhood where part of the movie was shot. It was crazy. For most of my life, I lived in Vancouver, and a lot of movies are filmed there, especially X-Men movies. Ryan Reynolds is from Vancouver, so he knows his way around. That's why he's such a smart-ass. it's our kind of humour. Polite to outsiders, dicks to each other - but we're equal opportunity. We're not prejudiced. We hate everyone equally. If you haven't checked it out, you might enjoy the movie My Girl. The soundtrack is amazing and it's a great story with Macaulay Culkin as a supporting character. I think you'd really enjoy it. It's an early 90s movie I grew up with. Yes, the Temptations song is in it, but that's the only spoiler you're getting. It's that good.

Truly Deadpool 3 requires a lot of context from other movies. It'll be pretty confusing if you haven't seen the X-Men movies (at the very least Logan) or Loki seasons 1 and 2. This is because it's the first official X-Men movie to be part of the MCU, up until that point Marvel Studios didn't have the rights to the characters for film, so when they finally did they went all out, making Deadpool 3 kind of the finale/sendoff to all of the pre-MCU Marvel movies, putting a cap on a lot of those stories. It's not just cameos either, it is actually main driving forces in the story that come from Logan (and the X-Men movies in general) and Loki.
Agree. I love the humor in Deadpool and am pretty selective in the Marvel content I watch, but because of that a lot of the 3rd movie was over my head or unfunny to me. I know there's a lot of fans who watch everything Marvel puts out, so hopefully it's more enjoyable for them.

Sadly Domino is not in the new one. Watched it, and if you haven't yet, I'd advise getting up to date on all the meta stuff (what's going on between Fox and Marvel, the other Xmen movies, that last Wolverine film, etc). I mean, Deadpool has always been meta, but the third movie went all-in. It's probably more enjoyable if you know the references.

Domino is in the X-men comics and various animated series but has rarely been a member of the X-men in comics. Besides DP2 Domino was probably best used in the Wolverine and the X-Men 09 animated series revolving around a reluctant Wolverine having to bring the X-men back together & lead them.
If you get a chance, you should check out the MCU and Xmen movies in release order. They all tie in together in the respective universes. Deadpool likes to poke fun at people's roles in various projects, changes to actors, etc. You'll have a much greater appreciation of these movies afterwards

Domino is a very popular recurring character in the Deadpool comics which acts as one of the many flings Deadpool has. Cable is also a character from the comics, he's a time traveler from the future and is the child of 2 characters from the X-Men gang. Wont spoil who since you don't know anything about the X-Men. The People in the quick Cameo shot were the New Actors playing in the X-Men Movies, so James McAvoy as Professor X, Nicholas Hoult as Beast, etc. etc... Also Sir Patrick Stewart was the Original Actor for Professor X, hence why wearing his headpiece made Deadpool "smell like him" As for the other people in the X Force, Vanisher was played by Brad Pitt, apparently the story goes that Ryan had the idea for Vanisher to be in the movie, and straight up said Brad Pitt would play him, before Brad even knew about it, and when he was asked, he said it was genius. Bedlem (Played by Terry Crews) is also from the comics, and is more or less the same. Same Electromagnetic Field Powers. Zeitgeist, yet another person from the comics, is actually an X-Men, but I don't think he shows up in the X-Men movies. He has Acidic Vomit and enhanced Durability which explains why he didn't die instantly from his legs getting torn off. Shatterstar is an Alien from a different universe... He's also from the comics... Even Peter is from the comics, however in the comics his full name is Peter Wisdom, and he's a secret agent mutant with the power to throw hot blades from his fingertips. TLDR: Basically everyone is actually from the X-Men/Deadpool Comics.

Deadpool 2 is a great sequel that lives up to the first one. It has a lot of funny moments as well as some great action. Ryan Reynolds is still amazing as Deadpool and Josh Brolin does a great job as Cable. He was way better as Thanos though.

I remember watching this in the movie theatre, and then walking out to the same neighbourhood where part of the movie was shot. It was crazy. For most of my life, I lived in Vancouver, and a lot of movies are filmed there, especially X-Men movies. Ryan Reynolds is from Vancouver, so he knows his way around. That's why he's such a smart-ass. it's our kind of humour. Polite to outsiders, dicks to each other - but we're equal opportunity. We're not prejudiced. We hate everyone equally. If you haven't checked it out, you might enjoy the movie My Girl. The soundtrack is amazing and it's a great story with Macaulay Culkin as a supporting character. I think you'd really enjoy it. It's an early 90s movie I grew up with. Yes, the Temptations song is in it, but that's the only spoiler you're getting. It's that good.

Truly Deadpool 3 requires a lot of context from other movies. It'll be pretty confusing if you haven't seen the X-Men movies (at the very least Logan) or Loki seasons 1 and 2. This is because it's the first official X-Men movie to be part of the MCU, up until that point Marvel Studios didn't have the rights to the characters for film, so when they finally did they went all out, making Deadpool 3 kind of the finale/sendoff to all of the pre-MCU Marvel movies, putting a cap on a lot of those stories.
It's not just cameos either, it is actually main driving forces in the story that come from Logan (and the X-Men movies in general) and Loki.
Agree. I love the humor in Deadpool and am pretty selective in the Marvel content I watch, but because of that a lot of the 3rd movie was over my head or unfunny to me. I know there's a lot of fans who watch everything Marvel puts out, so hopefully it's more enjoyable for them.

I lile this one the most so far. I haven't seen the new one. But i really like the girl who played Domino. I believe her name is Zazie, but she does great, and i think she was in Joker as well. The kid did great. Also love the acid dude, Bill Skarsgard. Have him tatted on my leg as Pennywise.
Sadly Domino is not in the new one. Watched it, and if you haven't yet, I'd advise getting up to date on all the meta stuff (what's going on between Fox and Marvel, the other Xmen movies, that last Wolverine film, etc). I mean, Deadpool has always been meta, but the third movie went all-in. It's probably more enjoyable if you know the references.

Domino is in the X-men comics and various animated series but has rarely been a member of the X-men in comics. Besides DP2 Domino was probably best used in the Wolverine and the X-Men 09 animated series revolving around a reluctant Wolverine having to bring the X-men back together & lead them.

If you get a chance, you should check out the MCU and Xmen movies in release order. They all tie in together in the respective universes. Deadpool likes to poke fun at people's roles in various projects, changes to actors, etc. You'll have a much greater appreciation of these movies afterwards

Patrick Stewart is the man who played Professor X alongside Jackman and Halle Berry throughout the OG live action X-men movies. So, answers on if these new characters are new for the movie or from the comics. the answer is almost always that they were taken from the comics. Domino is a very popular recurring character in the Deadpool comics which acts as one of the many flings Deadpool has. Cable is also a character from the comics, he's a time traveler from the future and is the child of 2 characters from the X-Men gang. Wont spoil who since you don't know anything about the X-Men. The People in the quick Cameo shot were the New Actors playing in the X-Men Movies, so James McAvoy as Professor X, Nicholas Hoult as Beast, etc. etc... Also Sir Patrick Stewart was the Original Actor for Professor X, hence why wearing his headpiece made Deadpool "smell like him" As for the other people in the X Force, Vanisher was played by Brad Pitt, apparently the story goes that Ryan had the idea for Vanisher to be in the movie, and straight up said Brad Pitt would play him, before Brad even knew about it, and when he was asked, he said it was genius. Bedlem (Played by Terry Crews) is also from the comics, and is more or less the same. Same Electromagnetic Field Powers. Zeitgeist, yet another person from the comics, is actually an X-Men, but I don't think he shows up in the X-Men movies. He has Acidic Vomit and enhanced Durability which explains why he didn't die instantly from his legs getting torn off. Shatterstar is an Alien from a different universe... He's also from the comics... Even Peter is from the comics, however in the comics his full name is Peter Wisdom, and he's a secret agent mutant with the power to throw hot blades from his fingertips.
TLDR: Basically everyone is actually from the X-Men/Deadpool Comics.
