Yeah that's the problem with Android and ios fanboys... They can't accept that other os can also be good..... Im the Android user i like ,.... The customisation but i like the Cameras of iPhone
True. Apple fanboys think android is trash and android fanboys think iOS is trash. But in my opinion, it doesn't matter. The best phone out there need not be the best one for us. Both iOS and Android have their own set of pros and cons, and it totally depends on which set we are fine with.
@@bharadwaj_routhu end of day, both fanboys are buying 1000 dollar phones to use social media apps lol....it's like buying Ferrari to drive in new York or London, it's pointless.
The battle between Iphones and android phones seems really meaningless. People compare just specs and performance which might be similar. But the most important things are much deeper. For instance, I am from Bulgaria, EU. Everywhere in Europe the iphone costs much more than in the USA, and I mean not even close. The iphone 13 pro is 1200 euro at least. Here, nobody is using Facetime, imessege or all the other functions for full apple experience. Europe is much more based on using Android and Windows features. For example in most of the countries Whatsapp, Facebook messenger, Viber are the top used communication apps, Chrome is the browser, Gmail is the email provider, we use microsoft office pack and so on. Most of the apps in my country are based on Android. This means that buying an Iphone means buying it for the cameras, which are not the best for sure, and for the apple logo itself.
Pixel 6 pro doesn't suport wifi and Volte în EastEurope. After using 3 iterations of Pixel phone I switched to IPhone 13 pro, Pixel 6 Pro and finally 13 Pro Max. Pixel 6 pro seems to be like beta product. Build quality isn't The Best, especially compare to the iphone. Call quality îs Best to none on IPhone. And yes I do miss the customisation of android but also got tired to wait for next update to fix the issues. To sum it up if you want a quality experience phone, camera, battery build IPhone has it all. That is coming from and Android user.
I’m curious for anybody outside of America, would you all buy iPhones and other apple devices if they were priced the same as they are in the US? ($699 for the mini 799 for the 13, $999 for the pro 1099 for the pro max)
@@lifeisshørt_420, don't get me wrong. A lot of people are using apple devices, I can say probably 30% in Eastern Europe, 50% in Western and even more in Scandinavia. For me personally, I would have probably used macbook, but I am working as a lawyer and most of the government online systems are not working very well on mac. In fact, the macbook became much cheaper during the last 2 years. As it comes to the Iphones - No. Put aside that Android "customization", but Android really offers a lot of useful functions, which I am really used to.
It’s funny, I switched from the S20 to the 13 pro and I thought the charging speed was very similar to quick charge with the right power brick. Also, the battery life is the best I’ve ever had in a smartphone and it’s not even close. Sounds like there might be some background processes to turn off or a software reset needed.
@@andrewsclafani4202 yep mine lasts about two days and i charge it for 1 hour once in two days. He is just being salty cause he is used to his chinese garbage phones that charges to 100 in 10 mins and then the battery blasts in your face when your using it lmao android are so bad like smh who tf would even buy that crap
@@maddeningmonk9585 Fast charging isn't bad for the phone battery. Most phones will charge rapidly and safely up until the critical 80% mark, and then they'll charge slower to 100%. CNET: Fast-charging batteries work in two phases. The first phase applies a blast of voltage to the empty or nearly empty battery. This gives you that blazing charge of from 50% to 70% in the first 10, 15 or 30 minutes. That's because during the first phase of charging, batteries can absorb a charge quickly without major negative effects on their long-term health. You know how it seems to take as long to fill up that last 20% or 30% of the battery as it does to charge the first 70% or 80%? That last part is the second charging phase, where phone-makers have to slow down and carefully manage the charging speed or else the charge process actually could damage the battery.
We are at the point where it doesn’t matter what you chose you won’t miss out much on either side anymore. The only reason I’m still on iOS is the exclusive creative apps for workflow
Nice review as always. Great job! I've been eyeing the 13 Pro since it was released but can't afford it now. It is one of the best in the market now and would be a great buy since it could last you for 5 yrs or more. They upgraded everything compared to last year's series and it is a great patch direction.
Thanks for the help Drew, I called last week as this will be my first smartphone and I don't have a choice I still use my 3G🤷 and I still would if the FCC wasn't paid off, I was told it's 50$ mth no interest and they will come to the house and help me learn how to use it? Other option is Motorola edge also 256 storage and costs 499$ tax and case but I would have to put it on my AMX card and while we always intend to pay off early shit happens and we get stuck paying it off for a couple years, but I doubt if the Android 11 will last 5 years? This is a bull 💩 expense that is a forced upgrade according to FCC rules and just like the digital TV they should somehow compensate us in$ to make the move!
Been a Samsung user for so long and never thought I’d switch to an iPhone again, last one I used was the iPhone 4 but been so tempted to switch over to the Apple ecosystem and so glad I did, alpine Green pro max with the green leather case is 🔥🔥
Just switched to an iPhone 13 Pro from a Samsung Note 20 Ultra. Night and day difference, the battery life in my experience was far better than how you described. I've been going to bed at night with over 50% left with moderate to heavy use. (I did make setting changes to help and they've made a noticeable difference) It's the fastest phone I've ever used and feels even faster when you turn down the animations between apps. It's very impressive. If you care about benchmark scores then run a test against the best Android device and the difference is substantial. Way better than the S21 Ultra both with CPU and GPU scores. If you can get past the customization of Android it's a no brainer to switch to this iPhone, it's a beast. I was a heavy Nova launcher user and an android user for years prior and (so far) don't regret anything about making the switch to iOS. The widgets are better and just using the phone with regular apps like Instagram and Snapchat is a far superior experience.
Slow charging , cannot sideload apps, no fingerprint (lol) , no picture in picture for basic apps like maps, no type C . No reverse charge to charge earphones when needed. And you pay premium price for it. Very funny.
@@ashrit2753 better camera, better battery, smoother phone, faster phone, more premium phone, better face id, stronger phone, better supported phone, more durable over the years!
@@ashrit2753 I never used reverse charging, I rarely used picture in picture, Face ID works miles better than the finger print sensor on the Note I had, and the battery is more than good enough to last me a full day so I don't need to worry, also I drive a lot and the phone is hooked up to my car and provides more than enough charge. 😂 Everybody's needs are different and so far the iPhone is FAR superior in terms of performance, feel and quality than the flagship Samsung I had. Camera is on another level too.
I did the same switch and damn, this phone is a beast. Battery life is the best out of all phones out there… + I was using galaxy watch 4 and damn these are terrible (laggy and have a lot of bugs - apps crashing and not working properly..) I switched to iPhone 13 Pro and apple watch 7 and it was super good decission. I also have to mention that I have an iPad and the way that these work together is just mindblowing😎🥳
As a guy who likes to jump back and forth, I'll agree with him mostly on iphones. Love the build quality and camera (I'm not a photographer type, so the basic interface is actually preferable to me). I do tend to get more "glued" to my Android phones, as the os is just more robust and fun to play with. But there's something I like about the simplicity of iOS. When I do switch over to apple, I tend to spend less time on screen, and use the phone for the basics like calling, texting, TH-cam, and some fb scrolling. I enjoy both experiences, as different as they may be. Hell, sometimes I even like switching to a dumb phone for a couple months, and just open my laptop for the entertainment stuff... I'm all over the place with phones. Love'em all.
You sound just like me man. I laugh at people fighting over Android vs iOS etc. I love them both. I am too much of a cheater to remain loyal to just one OS. hehe.
@@adamlevine2046 Same here. I use a Note 10 plus as personal phone and my company gave me an iphone 11 for work. Love both platforms for different reasons. I prefer my Note screen, camera and flexibility and love iphone smoothness and graphic design . I think it's a tie unless you are a slave to iMessage or specific apps available only on either one.
Just got my 13 Pro Max yesterday after using a Note for the last 5 months. It's a great phone but it's so boring compared to Android customization. I'm deep into the Apple ecosystem so the Company bought a bunch of us the 13 Pro Max. My son is using the Note now and he's raving how great the 1440 2K screen, split screen and the pen is. May keep the Note to use on weekends.
Ye something isn’t right I own 2 iPhone 13 pro max and the batteries are beyond insane 😳. Even every single test so far has shown the same as well so 🤷♂️
I was an android user as well, the only reason I switched to iPhone is because FaceTime is not available in android. Android was not very user-friendly towards elderly at least those early versions so I had to buy apple products for them and forced to switch to iPhone myself. Have to say that apple marketing strategy was very good.
Had 12 pro max last year. From android since 2011. Amazing how reliable this phone is. Batt life is among the best despite the smaller capacity. Just got tired of android - I guess I just needed a new playground and i love it! Customization and modding just got tiring over the years as we mature. Of course, there are some apps that run only android especially the geeky advanced ones but the android phone at home can take that :) For sure, my daily driver for the the next few years. Just the right amount of minimalism i needed in a phone.
iphoines are boring just by watching videos about them, they have boring events, lack of innovation and they are expensive for what they offer. Also you cannot do anything in ios system, you can after jaibreak + warranty loss, but hey, whatever fits your n eeds.
As a primary iPhone user I 100% agree at 1:58 starting w the iPhone 12 series. a gel case or any case fixes this. I actually bought the pro instead of the pro Max this year bc I feel like the annoyance would be less with a light weight phone.
The only decision I made before jumping to Apple after a decade with android & windows is not about specs. It all comes down if I want freedom and flexibility with gadgets or data privacy and seamless ecosystem
To this day, i do not regret switching from android to iOS. I was an android boy for years. I had a note 3, s6 active, s7 edge, note 8. all of which over time started to lag, freeze, and get overly hot. So that’s when i decided to try apple and see if i noticed any difference. and after owning a brand new iPhone XR for 2 years, it didn’t change at all except battery life, which is understandable. the battery health is at 87%. I will admit, near the 2 year mark, and after iOS 15 came out, i noticed it did start to struggle playing high intensive games, but it was after 2 whole years. not 6 months which all of the androids i owned did. the only thing i miss about android is the customization, but then again, i like the simplicity of iOS. i recently upgraded to the iPhone 13 pro max, and i absolutely love this phone. the battery life is insane, the performance is incredibly, the phone itself is gorgeous. Long exposure is available on iPhone. If you capture image in live mode, you can later go to photos, select the photos, on upper left side tap the live and tap long exposure.
The hardest thing for me is the ios Gallery App. I have switched vom a S10 to a 13Pro. The ios Gallery is so unorganized. In Android there is for everything a folder: pictures, downloads, screenshots and all the ather App like 9gag or Facebook. On ios there is only on big mess.
ios has been having folders for like literally everything you said a screenshot folder and if u got photos from twitter or facebook or anything it makes a seperate folder for it

The biggest issue with iPhone after Android is that I can't install TH-cam Vanced in iPhone. For me, it's very important. Also, iPhone's screen recorder app just sucks.
You can do it with Altstore on ios. But it takes some extra steps (a pc)for the first setup. Its not geeky though, you can do it. Sidenote, for people who like messing around , look in ios shortcuts. Its not “customization” but its fun and add extra “features” to your iphone usability.

Using both Android and iPhone. On Android, the photo quality is still a hit or miss on non-pixel phones and the battery optimization is still not as good as iOS. Despite having larger battery capacity, it drains just as fast, so, not much of a difference. On the iPhone side, the lack of fingerprint scanner is one of the most annoying issue since face unlock won't work while wearing a mask. And the option to sideload apps. A few months ago, I needed an App (with no alternatives) for work. The publisher removed their official app, so, it was no-go on the iPhone while on Android, I managed to sideload it with no issues. Same goes for the emulator since I love retro games more than current mobile ones.
GameCube and many other emulators run better on iPhone (ps2 is still better on android cause of aethersx2 and play not being that good on iPhone although it is improving) and android has 3ds and iPhone doesn’t at the moment
Should see how Star Wars roque squadron 2 runs. It’s 60 frames with barely a dip to 54 frames on iPhone and android it struggles on 30-40 frames on most android and with top androids struggling to get to 60 and stay they dip right away to 30-40
One thing to praise the iPhone 13 pro max is definitely the battery. My s20+, I charged it to 100 and goes to sleep next morning it drops to 83%. Not sure what you mean by that but even in countries that don't use iMessage classic SMS are working, also when someone has Simcard with credit, after a call there is a popup message showing how much credit is still left, etc. On Android, there are easier ways to do a certain tasks, but overall I feel like the iOS is more "complete" system. It's designed in some way and if you use it in way it was intended to use then there are almost 0 issues with the phone. For me when I switched from Android ... it was weird at first but when I used to it and dived deeper into the ecosystem. It's a wonderful experience. And mainly I don't need to figure out which ROM I want to flash every week because there are so many possibilities and settings that it's overwhelming. In iOS, you can't do that? Well, don't do that. Thanks for this! ☺️ I changed from 12 Pro Max last year for the Pixel 6 Pro. Main reason was for the Pixel camera which in my opinion, is way better than what my 12 Pro Max was. I would love to go back to Apple this year, and buy the 14 Pro, however, even with the new 48mp wide camera lens on 14 Pro/Max, I can't see it coming up to this year's forthcoming Pixel 7 Pro. It's a bit frustrating, because I prefer ios and the iPhone build, fab phones operating wise, if only they could keep up with other cameras in 2022! 🤷 I am keeping my eyes on specs now, and I would LOVE Apple to SURPRISE me regarding the cameras this year, then I'd go back in a millisecond! 🙂🇬🇧
One of the things people fail to remember or mention about Face ID is that it’s far more intelligent than any other face unlock method on any device. From using it every day it will keep recognizing you even if you say grow out a full beard or decide to change your hair and makeup style if you’re a female where on most other phones that would cause it to be quite hit or miss on facial unlock. It also lets you set up alternative appearances say if you like to wear sunglasses a lot while out and about etc. The other reason I’m in the iPhone camp is mostly due to the fact that while animation speeds on androids make up for the slight lack of power under the hood, apples processors haven’t been beat in quite some time and with the development of the M1 chips I guarantee that margin is about to grow even larger when they slap one of their full desktop style SOC into the iPhones one of these years. Also I can’t upgrade every year or even every other year like a lot of people tend to do as I have a lot of important financial needs in my life and Apple is the only manufacturer that can keep a phone updated for 6 years now with the 6s line from 2015, and have it still be fully functional with minimal grief, I can’t even name you an android phone from 2017 that’s still fully supported and has minimal hiccups like apple pulls off with their “walled garden” approach to controlling both hardware and software. Plus you can’t beat apples same day same time updates for everyone that’s supported, Android you still gotta wait for the manufacturer’s to push the update from google to your carrier then from your carrier to you whenever they decide to push it 3-6 months sometimes even a year late. I do love many aspects of Android such as the customization and the more “I truly own this device and can do basically anything I want with it” feel, but for me I’ll take the pure power and reliability and the “it just always works” and longevity of iPhones. I do have my complaints but not too many to list. This is not to argue or belittle anyone on the Android side of things either, I just love tech and love sharing my views with people and discuss amongst other techies.
there is no lack of power on any flagship phone, every phone with high specs is more than capable of handle every app. Animations may be better on one OS or the other but is not related to raw SoC power at all
I have both a iphone 12 pro max and a note 10 and I love some of the customizable features on the note 10 that the iPhone doesn't it feels lighter and the edge panel is awesome. Not to mention I can switch between launchers. my biggest gripes with the iPhone 13 is that it doesn't have USB-C in 2021 -__- .. and now during the pandemic, faceID with now very tidious .. would've loved a fingerprint sensor in the power button.
The pro max really is crazy with the battery life. I can get 13hrs screen on time no problem. I’m leaving work right now and my day included 5hrs of TH-cam and 2 hrs of call of duty of high brightness among other things like music Facebook and calls and text. And I have 5% left. I’m like you I actually prefer android but the hardware this year is really good for Apple
4:04 - you can do this with one hand by floating the gallery app or sms app over your chat app, email, calendar, note, reminder app etc. 4:38 - I like this.
Using iphone feels like I'm using a subscription product. If it was 2015, I would be like wow iphone is amazing but I'm not a follower. I know what I need in a phone. If I don't have control over the phone, I don't want it. Speed and power is not a selling point anymore ..it pointless for me to use iphones, when I can do everything and more on android that's as fast and smooth but with better features. iPhone not for me but it's a great product for others.

Let's be honest for 90+% of people both damn near a y phones will run TH-cam and other social media apps just fine.....the vast majority of people buying top end phones will never even use more than 20% of what the phones are capable of outside of battery life. @@AB1B1 I see, so it’s just some people that are facing this issue. And I’ve tried Samsung, Google Pixel, HTC and Iphone but I have to say that Google’s software experience is the best by far! The only thing that’s stopping me from fully switching over to it permanently is the size of the pixels phones (too big for me) and the appearance of the phone. I know it’s quite silly to complain about how a phone looks but lets be real, phones nowadays have become a fashion accessory. That’s the reason why Iphones sell even though their OS is pretty basic. It just looks like a sexy piece of tech and is reliable. Pixel needs to design their phones better and fix the bug issues then they can compete.

When you know what this phone can do, it makes you appreciate the uniqueness of the design. I hate they had bugs because I believe they wouldve converted many customers to their system.
I currently still have an iPhone 11 Pro Max with the Galaxy Note 9 as my backup. I’ve been considering an upgrade, but I haven’t seen anything from Samsung or Apple to force my hand. Still getting good performance and battery 🔋 from my iPhone. Whenever I’m in the mood to consume a lot of media I pull out my Galaxy Note 9.
Hang onto your Note9! Trust me. I just got my S22 Ultra but I'm still using my Note8 as a tablet to watch TH-cam/Netflix and loaf around on social media at home lol. The S22 Ultra camera and performances are bonkers tho. You gotta see to believe. I'm surrounded by iPhones (mom, dad, and sister) and the only thing that iPhones is better at is on paper running benchmarks. All that "speed" but they cant even use 1/4 of it lol
Not sure if this is what you mean, but you can take a full page screenshot on iPhone. Select the image preview option in the bottom left corner of your screen The image editor will open and then you can select the 'Full Page' option Then, tap on 'Crop' to choose which part of the page you want to save You are almost done! Now, you can either save the screenshot or directly share it with a friend by selecting either the 'Save' or the 'Share' option.
14:19 You are getting 6 hours while using around 60% of the battery in a single day. You need to look at the percentage used in the top graph. I never got to a 100% in a single day and the max I got is around 12 hours screen on time and on average it is around 8-9 hours.
I switched to the 13 pro Max when it first came out. The lack of 120hz was keeping me from trying iPhones. So it was the perfect time when they finally had a big phone with a great screen. I don't notice it going into 120hz and it's disappointing. The battery is amazing. The build quality is second to NONE. Airdrop is incredibly useful. That's all that I like about the phone compared to android. I'll be switching to the s22 ULTRA when I pay this off halfway
Lots of features don't equal being better to me. Smart Reply, Schedule text and Google Assistant embedded in the Google Message app is enough for me and I actually like it.
Schedule text saved me a bunch of times 😂 from forgetting anniversaries and birthdays down to work stuff. I'm using the samsung keyboard though, this feature is a life saver.
My work phone is an iPhone 12. I like it but it's nothing like Android. iPhone is really hard to use once you're locked in with Android. One thing I hate about the iPhone is that when it unlocks it doesn't go straight to the home screen, you still have to swipe up. My pixel 4 xl goes straight to the home screen once it's unlocked.
When you have your notifications set to read once unlocked you sometimes want to look at your notifications on the lock screen. Not automatically go to the Home Screen. For that android makes no sense.
@@RolandKoller90 that makes no sense to me because you still have to unlock your phone and go to the home screen to actually see your notifications, so why not look at your notifications at your home screen
Yes I have to admit coming from an iPhone 11 Pro Max to a 13 promax I’m constantly having trouble trying to find the volume buttons without looking at them just by feel.
I'm a android user but I got the same iphone 13 pro. I wanted to see what the hype was all about. I can't lie, iMessage is way better than Samsung message and Google message. I also like the weather app on iOS and face unlock is better than the figure print scanner. Other than that, Samsung is a better phone bc you have more options
I have a Note 20 Ultra and iPhone 13 Pro and I use both interchangeably with T-Mobile's Digits feature and BlueBubbles. The iPhone has my primary SIM, and I have a secondary SIM in the Note 20 Ultra.
I switched to the iPhone 13 pro max. From android. Definitely some things I do miss. However. I gotta question your results on battery life. My wife has the iPhone 13 pro and she gets close to 8 hrs of screen on time and usually ends the day with 30ish % to 40ish % and she uses her phone fairly heavily. I get close to 11 hrs of screen on time with my pro max and usually end a day of moderate usage with 50 to 60% battery left over. Not to mention you are the only reviewer that had a negative experience with battery life considering that the iPhone 13 pro has beaten out most android phones in battery life. And every reviewer I have seen has crowned the iPhone 13 pro max the battery king by a large margin

As for me i dont really care about customization but the stability plays a very important factor to me. I have been using android flagships for years ( galaxy series) but i got tired of annoying anomalies on android. People who say there arent any anomaly on android they either lie or havent used android for 2+ years.
I don't know about the ppl who say android phones don't have hiccups but maybe one UI? I haven't used a flagship Samsung so I can't know but my Redmi note 10 pro max definitely has some "anomalies"
Once used an ip6s, but that was a short journey. Now I'm on oneplus, it's smooth but I'd be lying if i say there's no hiccups at all. On the other hand, I scrolled reddit the other day, and people seemed to complained quite a bit about apple's software. Was planning to try out an iphone, but now I'm having second thoughts..
I use both (samsung note 20 ultra for work and iphone 12 pro for personal) and I find anomalies on both honestly. Both phones were near perfect when I first bought them, but after a few months both started having a few small glitches here and there.
@@jijumonm2345 so true, fanboys like to cover up the flaws of both systems lol. I used iphones that crashed on me, I've seen bugs too. They make it seem like iphones never have bugs lol
This is my second time jumping back to apple, and it still feels like I’m going backwards. Things that are so straight forward in Android is an extra few steps in IOS. I miss the swipe left or right to go back and the easy toggle of switching on and off location. And the keyboard on IOS just need a lot of time to get used to.
🤣🤣 i swear i have the same problem with iphone,I'm trying so hard to like the 13 pro max and the only impressive thing about it is tge battery life for me.Everytthing else feels outdated compare to my s21 ultra.Simple task on android requires extra step on iphone and its lacking so many useful features.I have the same feeling,it's like going backwards and the keyboard is trash in my opinion
I've just switched to the fold 3 after iphone for all these years. The back gesture has been in iphone since the 5s (I think) just swiping from left to middle will take you back within the app. I love the openness of android, I can't believe I'm saying this but I actually miss homekit and siri 😭
@Kyle Robinson on android the back gesture works when you swipe the left or right side and most people are right handed so it's easier than iphone which is only done by swiping on the left
I just upgraded to the iPhone 13 Pro 1 TB model I love this phone because it holds all of my iTunes media I’ve bought over the years lots of movies and TV shows lots of music lots of games and lots of other apps i used up half of my storage already I have about 548gb left on my iPhone

Im a Samsung User, actually learned a lil something today about Iphones abilities. Its great. I love the fact for competition, they challenge and improve each other.
I've owned both before, honestly there are a lot of things I miss with IOS. But I prefer Android for a few simple reasons. Keyboard haptics, Apple has some super good haptics that they don't even take full advantage of. Android keyboards have vibration feedback by default. Customization, Apple still doesn't give direct icon packs for their launcher. Yeah there's the "siri shortcut" workaround, but that's just clunky.
@@Banininator Gboard is just a completely inferior experience on IOS, you can't select the level of vibration feedback. You are simply stuck with whatever the default is. Least that's how it was with IOS 13 the last time I owned an iPhone. Then the bottom bar that Apple still doesn't give good solution to third party keyboard developers other than exact matching the default keyboard so it doesn't look out of place.
Had to move from Galaxy S21 Ultra to 13 Pro Max because my new job requires iMessage. Overall I'm conflicted: I feel like iPhone more substantial and premium in build, while also being a downgrade in hardware and specs. I miss the hole-punch camera and fingerprint reader so much, but am confident these will be on the next generation iPhone Pro models. Trying to sell my S21 Ultra at the moment and hate that I can't keep both. The ecosystem really does sell...
U r fool ...👈...S 21 ultra is far far better .... iphones r not substantial rather ..they r heavy n uncomfortable.... because of that steel frame , along with case they r bulky.... I miss the fingerprint reader and hole-punch front camera a lot now that I’m back on iPhone but have been so happy with the battery and cross-device iMessage from my iPad, MacBook, and phone too. One handed operation comfort is so underrated. Pixel 5 might have ruined me for future phones. The 6 felt like a brick in hand. AOD is a must have imo.

There are people who buys the Bugatti chiron, and those who buy the Lamborghini Urus. Apple being the Bugatti ,samsung being the Lamborghini. The chiron for speed, and style, the Urus for versatility and a different feel of grunt, for a day out in the field or just in town,The chiron for more speed, which one would you think is better, out of the perspective I have simplified, and I am being dead honest, not picking a winner as both has pro's and cons,so what you say?
This was exactly the reason why I had to leave the iPhone 13 Pro and iOS this time as well. It is the simplicity and possibilities with Android that make me turn in that direction. This time it was not as easy though. iPhone 13 Pro is a great phone. If only iOS could catch up a little.
But if you really think about it all they really don’t need to catch up any because they’re marketed for a certain type of people and the phones work amazingly for that type of person what do you think of Apple you really think of that business person that CEO of a company or uglies that’s what I think of I think of a rich business person and iPhones especially the 13 Pro and the pro max really work for people that are business savvy and they’re just much easier to use than an android I could never switch back to android honestly I would feel like I literally was the richest person in the world and then out of nowhere overnight I went bankrupt that’s what I would feel like because I’ve went and I’ve checked out android phones and I’ve checked out some of the like top android phones really expensive android phones and they all felt cheap to me they all felt very cheap and they all looked the damn same and when I say that I mean Apple phones yes they look the same just different sizes but when you have competitor android phones that all look the same when you’re looking at them from the front to me it’s like wait a minute you guys don’t really stand out where is the diversity it’s like android was like you know what everybody needs to adopt this look because Apple was already ahead of its game with that luck and then android came out right afterwards and started you know the different companies that sell android phones started putting out phones that were looking real similar to apples screen they just went all the way without the notch and I’m just like Wyatt at the time I was like where is the originality come on but now I’m literally like where is the originality all android phones literally look the same and most of them are the same exact size they’re all super long and complete full screen with no not at all you don’t even know what phone somebody has unless you see the back of the phone I mean they’re making super cheap ass android phones that have the full phone with no notch and I mean the quality isn’t super bad and you wouldn’t even be able to tell if somebody has like a top dollar android phone or you know a cheap ass Walmart android phone unless you were to see the back of their phone so to me there’s no like real stand out there there’s no like oh wow you have that phone but with Apple it’s like the quality is amazing they look expensive they are expensive they feel expensive and overall the quality of the machine is just expensive and exquisite I could never switch back to android because like I said I would feel like I was a billionaire and then overnight I was bankrupt and I was poor because that’s just wet android phones feel like to me they just feel cheap but that’s just my opinion

I use both and agree with most of what you say here. Personally I find the notification icons in the Android status bar to be distracting and needless. You can already see your notifications in the notification shade and you can turn on badges. Always good to have the option of course which is an Android strength (things like haptics which I don’t personally like can be turned off on Android but don’t exist as an option at all for typing on iOS devices)
I've had the iPhone 13 pro max for a couple of weeks now. First time using an Apple device. I have to say I love it. it's incredible. but man...coming from android I miss the universal cross app back swipe from both sides, being able to choose what maps app you want to use by default, using Google assistant just by saying hey Google... It's really really annoying...😭
Switched from android to iphone 13. ✅ Better camera performance, I am satisfied with a picture even with just a few clicks ✅ Superb video quality with clear mic sounds ✅ Fast game apps. I play a game where loading time is a crucial element and iphone does the job ❌ Few android apps (from this page) isn't available ❌ Default calculator sucks, you won't see your equation ❌ Slower charge compared to fast charging devices ❌ Default turn-on of wi-fi and bluetooth ❌ No battery percentage within the icon ❌ Limited selection of themes ❌ Contacts also shows log of calls via messenger ❌ Large notch

Fact, apple is really popular in America but the rest of the world is mostly on Android
@George Cristian did you try samsung? Because Android isn't just pixel

@@maddeningmonk9585 Fast charging isn't bad for the phone battery. Most phones will charge rapidly and safely up until the critical 80% mark, and then they'll charge slower to 100%.
CNET:
Fast-charging batteries work in two phases.

Just switched to an iPhone 13 Pro from a Samsung Note 20 Ultra. Night and day difference, the battery life in my experience was far better than how you described. I've been going to bed at night with over 50% left with moderate to heavy use. (I did make setting changes to help and they've made a noticeable difference)
It's the fastest phone I've ever used and feels even faster when you turn down the animations between apps. It's very impressive. If you care about benchmark scores then run a test against the best Android device and the difference is substantial. Way better than the S21 Ultra both with CPU and GPU scores. If you can get past the customization of Android it's a no brainer to switch to this iPhone, it's a beast. To this day, i do not regret switching from android to iOS. I was an android boy for years. I had a note 3, s6 active, s7 edge, note 8. all of which over time started to lag, freeze, and get overly hot. The hardest thing for me is the ios Gallery App. I have switched vom a S10 to a 13Pro.
The ios Gallery is so unorganized. In Android there is for everything a folder: pictures, downloads, screenshots and all the ather App like 9gag or Facebook. On ios there is only on big mess.
why not use google photos?
ios has been having folders for like literally everything you said a screenshot folder and if u got photos from twitter or facebook or anything it makes a seperate folder for it

ANY way, I just wanted to say that I recently switched from the S20+ to the 13 Pro Max and I miss the android platform SO much. The iPhone is gorgeous and the camera is beautiful but I can't seem to fall in love with it, despite it having such a good battery and few other small perks. Definitely switching back when I'm done paying the iPhone off but it's been an experience for sure.

The biggest issue with iPhone after Android is that I can't install TH-cam Vanced in iPhone.
For me, it's very important.
Also, iPhone's screen recorder app just sucks.
im not iphone user but i saw iphone user said they have similar app like youtube vanced and free
You can do it with Altstore on ios. But it takes some extra steps (a pc)for the first setup. Its not geeky though, you can do it.

2.set custom ringtone (from my music)
3.File managers
4. T9 search in dialer
5. More options to change default apps
6. And mostly more customization e.g change launchers, icons
7. No delivery reports for SMS (we don't use iMessage in our country)
etc....
Android is like PC OS it gives you more control for your device
@@Deojames98 1. you need iTunes / finder on mac and in this app, there is "files" and you just drag and drop into certain app - if you want to watch a movie you copy this movie into the "VLC" folder for example. 2. There are workarounds, but sure it's not so easy
3. You can use Files, you can use 3rd party "Documents". I don't think they work differently than file manager on android (or what you want to achieve?)
4. Huh? Why?
5. Apple wants you to be fully in their ecosystem so yeah, it is what it is.
6. ...
(but there is a workaround for sure)

Hi, I also recently switched from android to iPhone 13pro, and I also miss the little which we can do easily in the android like saving a photo to gallery. Overall I am loving the iPhone and you channel. #keepItUp
I have been using an iPhone for the past 2 weeks and yeah, that gallery thing is something I missed from using an android.

I changed from 12 Pro Max last year for the Pixel 6 Pro. 🙂🇬🇧
Thank you, now I know and use Mine!

Animations may be better on one OS or the other but is not related to raw SoC power at all
Just the kind of video I was hoping for. Thanks for the fair comparison.

my biggest gripes with the iPhone 13 is that it doesn't have USB-C in 2021 -__- .. and now during the pandemic, faceID with now very tidious .. would've loved a fingerprint sensor in the power button.

I’m leaving work right now and my day included 5hrs of TH-cam and 2 hrs of call of duty of high brightness among other things like music Facebook and calls and text. And I have 5% left. I’m like you I actually prefer android but the hardware this year is really good for Apple

They keyboard and autocorrect are really bad
@@Joker-yu5kp super trash. It’s not just you
I've just switched to the fold 3 after iphone for all these years.
People still use itunes
@@youngkaway I only use it to buy some movies but now I have Apple Music so I just download my music but play my musical before Apple Music are used to buy my music from iTunes so I have a huge library of music and movies yes
I own both the iPhone 13 Pro and the Pixel 6. For me the best of both worlds in 2021.
Same here ! Both good phones
Wow. I have both as well…
Which device holds your main SIM card?
@@bigdrews4360 I have 2 sims. But I do switch my main sim between them...
@@bigdrews4360 iPhone 13 Pro is my personal phone and Pixel 6 my business phone.
Gboard has Haptics on iOS. (:
@@Banininator Gboard is just a completely inferior experience on IOS, you can't select the level of vibration feedback. You are simply stuck with whatever the default is. Least that's how it was with IOS 13 the last time I owned an iPhone. Then the bottom bar that Apple still doesn't give good solution to third party keyboard developers other than exact matching the default keyboard so it doesn't look out of place.
@@Banininator doesn't work.
@@robinbanda1723 it Does, you need to activate it
@@oneminutewonder77 Try Microsoft Swiftkey. It has a number row and haptic feedback.
I am at the opposite side, don't like heavy phones at all. I love light, flat and nearly bezel less phones and that's what I got for my S22 Plus
S 21 ultra has better premium material ,feels fluid while swiping because of that slightly curved display which smoothly blends .... u feel feel that Executive , Bossy Vibe while holding it . Oh boy that Black S 21 ultra looks incredible 🔥🔥🔥
How is it a downgrade in hardware and specs ? I curious to know.
@@zethloveless7238 Zoom, under-screen fingerprint reader, and no notch. Still very happy with the iPhone, the battery is much better on this than the S21 Ultra
@@akshays2504 Both phones are fantastic. I’ve owned both and see the pros and cons to each. I prefer the look, camera, screen, and biometrics of the S21 Ultra while I enjoy the feel (heft), battery, speakers, and easily the most important being software integration with my other devices on the iPhone 13 Pro Max. I miss the fingerprint reader and hole-punch front camera a lot now that I’m back on iPhone but have been so happy with the battery and cross-device iMessage from my iPad, MacBook, and phone too. You take some and lose some
@@zethloveless7238 I correct myself: it’s a downgrade in some areas and an upgrade in others.
I'm surprised that the drag and drop thing isn't an Android thing at all. The irony of the better multi tasking os
One handed operation comfort is so underrated. Pixel 5 might have ruined me for future phones. The 6 felt like a brick in hand. AOD is a must have imo.
Same for me, now everytime i see a new flagship phone with 6.6-6.7in i just skip. At least samsung still making 6.1-6.2in flagship
@@nguyenviet1941 I totally agree they have three sizes available and I think that is the way to go.
That’s where the 13 mini comes in.

I have S21 ultra and iPhone 13 pro, I'm using both android and ios since more than 2 years , both have positive and negative things but overall I use my S21 more for doing my work , it just feel easier and of course for watching videos
Good job man. Such a wholesome and robust review.
@@brooklyndestiny446 wtf
@@youngaaqib I mean it’s not a lie though Apple products are marketed for a certain type of consumer and the phones literally work for those type of consumers and that’s gamers business people but you can’t really say that about android because if you want a gaming device then you have to get a certain android phone that works better for gaming or if you want an android phone for business type stuff you have to get a certain android phone that works better for business type stuff Apple phones and Apple products especially their computers and stuff are just good for overall everything there really isn’t anything you can’t really do on a Mac product like the Mac computers or an iPhone can pretty much do it all

Why does nobody give a damn to xiaomi's weather app? It looks so good and has all the functionality plus great animations on a 120hz screen

I'll never understand why people like phones to weigh more.
Same tbh
Especially when it makes shorts go down
If you have an iPhone I’d suggest you get filmic pro & halide if you want more manual controls for those powerful cameras.
This was a very honest review. Much appreciated!

You can just delete Apple Maps and install google maps. I use google maps. I cannot stand Apple Maps.

Switched from android to iphone 13.
✅ Better camera performance, I am satisfied with a picture even with just a few clicks
✅ Superb video quality with clear mic sounds
✅ Fast game apps. I play a game where loading time is a crucial element and iphone does the job
❌ Few android apps (from this page) isn't available
❌ Default calculator sucks, you won't see your equation
❌ Slower charge compared to fast charging devices
❌ Default turn-on of wi-fi and bluetooth
❌ No battery percentage within the icon
❌ Limited selection of themes
❌ Contacts also shows log of calls via messenger
❌ Large notch
Honestly the calculator is such a huge feature for me and it doesn't get talked about enough
@@seanmatias3842 it doesnt get talked about bc it doesnt matter, there are free apps like geogebra sci calc which does a better job, and ads free
I could only handle 2 month before selling it. It's premium and generally OK. But the flawed SW got on my nerves and I couldn't do it anymore. Passed it on for Z fold 3.
