Very impressive work. Did you 3D model the helmet yourself? Where did you learn to cast, vacuum press, and wire?! How can one know all of this? You are incredible.
I 3d modelled the helmet myself. I have built up my skills over time from projects I have completed. I learnt from what I found on the internet and with many failures.

during the process, I wonder why some builders create a mold out of the helmet that's already printed. Isn't the result from 3d printing enough or is the intention to mass produce the item via bondo method?
I've worked on only eva foam for cosplay up to this point and am in the process of setting up my new 3d printer. thanks
3D printing is awesome to get symmetry and fine details, but only being a 3d print the plastic is brittle. So I mold and cast to reproduce them out of a stronger plastic less prone to warp. On 3d prints you have to clean them up and get rid of print lines every print but if I do it once then mold it then it removes any clean up work left behind from the print. 3d printing is good if your doing a 1 off items , but you would need to reinforce it. Molding and casting you can produce many copies and not have to worry about the part warping in the sun.

You should make a whole body suit for decoration not to sell since that would take too long to sell them i guarantee you would get a lot of views for making a realistic armor since the helmet looks straight out the game
