Special greetings from Spain, very good presentation and very sincerely honest! I say this because I have the Xiaomi pro 4, I have been with it for 4 months and I have really traveled the most with it, a difficult journey of 30 kilometers on roads only with steep climbs and the scooter has gone up these slopes at 17, 18 kilometers per hour and I think these slopes are really steeper than 20% degrees 🥰🥰🥰 !!! And I have gone down an unexpected path and without knowing unfortunately I have found broken glass on my way and thank God I have not punctured anything !! At the moment I was stepping on these crystals that were on the road, I said in my mind, that's it, I'm going to click 😅😅😅 but thank God this hasn't happened!! The engine has gone well and 30 kilometers of a single journey and I still have 3 battery scratches left about 69% more battery! These are the real data that I have done with this model and I have really thought: it is worth every euro that I have paid for it and I never regret it because I have seen that it has passed a very difficult test and for me this means a lot! I have had more powerful scooters with more watts but I am really happy with this model and I continue to encourage you to try this model and you will see what you will like and you will appreciate it over time !!! 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽🥰🥰🥰🛴♥️♥️♥️

I live in Denmark and I only had my Xiaomi 4 pro for about 10 days. It's the first and only kick-wheel i've ever tried. So i can't compare with any other e-scooters,, But i honestly could not imagine a much better ride for the money! I'm so positively surprised! This thing is really amazing.. It's simple, it's incredibly sturdy and then it's just a really nice way to roam around and i feel fully comfortable riding on it. I'm 183 cm tall or 6,00394 foot weighting 63 kilos. I have been driving in windy conditions and also many times uphill where it just kept on going at its maximum speed of 25 km/h. I'm not sure if it might go faster in other countries. I just know that so far, there is no "hack" to make it go any faster than 25 km/h in European countries. I paid 825 Euros, or 6159 Dkr, and i really think it's worth the price,,❤‍🔥

To add somethings, have and love pro2, nearly 2000km on it in less than a year, have monorim suspension on front and back with tubeless vents for stock tires, and it's just awesome, whole setup less than 750$. Had 10inch offroad tires, but you lose a lot of friction by this and never had puncture, but also I'm 65kg rider so I'm not stressing tires that much, altho I'm pumping to 4.5bars to get better mileage. And as power goes, with custom firmware I get up to 1200W of power and 30kph top speed, but keeping it on 25kph and 600W nearly doubles your range...

Most scooters with suspension that cost less than $1000 are usually too heavy and the suspension is not that effective. I think the Navee S65 is kind of a proof to that.
But hey... maybe it could be a reason for us to hope to see some day a new line with greater max speed and off-road style. 🙃

With scooters its a balance between features, price and weight. Scooters with suspension weigh more and cost more. The Xiaomi scooter is just on the edge when it comes to weight to still be carrieable. There a scooters with a higher range and more features but with 20 kg they are not that easy to carry by hand. Additionally, if you want to have a suspension that actually does something you wont be able to stay below the $1000 mark.

This scooter is atrociously not powerful, (except if I stumbled upon a faulty version), the model I bought is brand new. It barely gets me home, contrary to the two Scooter 2 Pro I own (more than 3 year old scooters). I live slightly uphill. The Ninebot G30P I also own would get me home brand new eating the slope at around 20Km/h, now after one year more like around 17-16Km/h (using the G30P US engine on European soil where it's not supposed to be commercialized), but the two scooter 2 pro gets me own at around 19/20Km/h after 3 years of age, wtf. This scooter 4 pro is more comfortable to use thanks to the bigger wheels, but it's ridiculously NOT powerfull at all, it gets me home at around 15Km/h BRAND NEW, acceleration is poor too, more sluggish than the scooter pro 2. Not even mentionning how cumbersome it is to even be allowed to activate it and use it... being forced to install the app, being forced to watch an unskippable stupid tutorial, having to give your location, email etc wtf.

You answered my questions hehe! 🤣 Anyway, if I hadn't upgraded to the Mi e-scooter Pro 2 (now 2200+km total mileage) then I would of purchased the Xiaomi 4 Pro! Finally 10"inch tubeless tyres that heals?! Design still looks the same as its predecessors so not much of a design inprovement over the existing Pro 2/Mi e-scooter 3. Here's hoping for the next-gen ver with a design overhaul with suspension, higher IP rating, less cabe exposure, and brighter headlights = despite its 2.5W vs 2W headlights the Pro 2 uses!

Tubes are better as tubeless, tubeless is just a thing on bikes cause there counts every gramm of weight and that’s the only reason for tubeless overall, the weight…
But exactly this play no role in this dimensions on an electric drived vehicle…
The big disadvantage of tubeless is the missing tube, even with special puncture protection (slime, gel film or what ever) wouldn’t help you on a real big cut, when this happen you can directly buy a new tire wich is more expensive and more worse for the environment…
The both best options for electric scooters are the good old tubes and second best with big distance is honeycomb…
But tubeless for an e Scooter? yeah, that’s just a way to make more money on tires but nothing else, at least for the driver it just means more disadvantages with exactly no advantage…

    Hi Michael,
i really hope you are still reading and responding to comments on older videos...
Between this and the Xiaomi scooter pro 2, this seems to be the better one, but slightly (i think i mostly see diferences in the tires?)
6 months later this still costs about 700€ and the pro 2 at the moment i find around 500€.
at what price point for the pro 2 would you say it is worth to get the pro 2 (below price point) or the pro 4 (above that price point).
100kg rider (with the backpack and stuff)
in Sofia (like you XD) and gonna be carrying the scooter on the metro to get to work and back (about 1.5km+ on both sides of the metro home/work) so range is not a huge concern, both are great.
also from friends i know some xiomi scooters have unlockable higher speeds, does it apply to these two? they seem to have the power.
very much appreciate the response from anyone that has experienced both.

And nope he exchange his shitty standard tyres with some solid tires as he was tired of punctures all the time
And yes the i9 Pro has a Dual rear suspension it's the standard i9 that don't have suspension the i9 pro and Max dose have so i guess you only saw the standard i9 and dont use aliexpress they are overpriced compared to the official sites 🤡
The i9 Pro's is rated to carry up to 120kg and the Pro 2 only 100kg
The only big plus i found to his Pro 2 was he has ABS disc brake
His scooter is about a year older than mine and he weighs 4kg more so that might have something to do with the range

So honeycomb is from the driving aspect in no single way better as air tires, really in not a single on, Air is better for comfort, for energy efficiency, breaking, grip just everything is better with air tires…
the only thing for what honeycomb is better is that lazy people don’t need to fix a puncture…

Not much of an upgrade... they could have put an external battery plug&switch.. to plug add on batteries and select battery 1 or 2.. and they could have added a hole ready for monorim installation at the back, they could have widen the deck and the back fork - allowing big motors to fit in, they could have extended the battery deck.. for bigger batteries..... this scooter is modifiable... and they didn't use it on their advantage... it can compete on big scooter nowadays... they can sell more of this ..if they keep working for upgradable parts like Monorim...this is like the HONDA of escooters... y not.. make the most of it...people love customizing.. i hope they listen for the next version...

Sounds like a great idea for a startup company - getting Mi Scooters and applying some cool modifications allowing support for multiple third-party solutions. Kind of sad that businesses these days are more interested in their own growth, rather than being in the best possible service of the customer.
I guess as long as so many people are ready to pay premium for being locked in ecosystems (like Apple), we won't see this happening.

Still Vsett 8/Vsett 8+ are the best in mid-range! Suspension is so useful I cannot imagine what is to drive an electric scooter without one.. You just enjoy your scooter even on sidewalk instead of running to drive Xiaomi on the street because the drive feeling on sidewalk is terrible.. and that is dangerous and unnecesary! Another good thing. If I have to go on the street.. I have blinkers which is very very important for the car drivers behind you!!

Vsett models are rather big and not quite easy to bring them in the subway. Definitely great though!

    • @TechMishka
      @TechMishka  ปีที่แล้ว

it is a 10-inch tire. If you get a flat - go to a escooter shop, they will for sure have spares.

@@TechMishka here in my country 🇬🇷 for sure they don't have a "screw" for New pro 4.... In next 3-4 months waiting to come tires 7 inches (basic part) and rear fender!
If you can ask to your e-scooter shop guy,... Did they have tires for Pro 4...??

1.Xiaomi should really make their scooter water proof.
By their saying you cant ride it officially in the road at winter or rainy days because if it gots water damage its out of warranty.
    2. Should add suspensions in their wheels.
So when you drive in pavements where is gap in between it can absorb the vibration that is made and give you a more pleasurable drive

    • @TechMishka
      @TechMishka  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Totally agree about point 1!
Not sure about the suspension. These bigger tires do a great job.
