I can only feel sincerely really greatfull with Xiaomi, having an scooter change absolutely my life, i can remember when the firt time i saw 4 years ago a litle amount scooters on the streets, then at university, and then with this applications for streets scooters. When i tried one, i realize that i really need to have one. After more than 3 years being an Xiaomi user, i consider that this Xiaomi Ultra is the definitely scooter for streets, a perfect balance between weight, size, capabilities, the price could be a little bit higher than everyone could wait, but this i think is proporcional to the entire product benefits and capabilities, in this scooters there are a looot of mistakes or little thins that past scooters had. Have been riding that thing for a year now. Top build quality and riding comfort. Range a liitle above 45km with the rider's weight 88kg. Love the suspension, my spine is happy now😂 Wouldn't exchange it for anything in that price range.
I don't have the immediate skills to drive this kind of vehicles, I am more than a bicycle guy, but this one has some nice design and features, here could be a hit because is a regular way of transportation
I can't believed that they STILL have not added a USB/USB-C port to charge a phone! You go longer distances through a city with a bike/scooter navigation app, the phone battery is drained by the time you arrive. A USB-port to keep the phone powered would be a no-brainer.
Redo your math! iPhone 12 Pro Max (3.8Ah * 3.8V < 16Wh) while the scooter has 446Wh battery, which is close to 28 full phone charges! Also, the point isn’t to charge an empty phone, but to prevent the phone from draining while using a bike navigation app during the ride. Even if the capacity were to go from 45km to 30km (which is greatly exaggerated), that wouldn’t bother me. Even in a larger city I won’t travel farther than 10km each way, which gets me just about anywhere.
I just received my Scooter today. I wanted to ask you quickly if you scooter also rattles when driving over uneven surfaces. My rattle comes from the wheel from the middle cover where the brake line connects. This circular middle part has some play and sometimes rattles. Do you suffer from the same problem or is this normal?

Almost half more weight is not exactly what I would call "a little bit more weight". Where does that 25% more weight come? Xiaomi website says 17kg vs 24,5kg, that's a 44% increase
If this had turn signals I would be sold! Many companies seem to be adding them often to the handlebar ends including the new Segway ninebot models. Might be law once the uk legalises scooters finally! This however is the big leap xiaomi needed to make in design to keep pace with rivals.

The separated braking handles for front and back brake are super useful to stop immediately faster without risking your life. You have cruise control. My experience with Xiaomi 4 Ultra. I bought a new scooter online and sent a friend to pick it up because I drive a truck and I'm never in one place and I can't go into town with a big truck to buy it myself. When my friend brought me the scooter, the scooter was already activated. I couldn't connect the scooter to my account, so I contacted Xiaomi support and the store where I bought it. Even though I had the driver's license, all the papers and the original receipt as well as proof of the bank transaction, Xiaomi did not want to help me, and the authorized service that the store where I bought it contacted couldn't solve anything. The only answer was to delete the scooter from the account. so that you can register on your own. So now I have an unusable new scooter with everything I can't use and I paid 1000e for it. My advice to everyone is to avoid the brand because the support is disastrous for those products.
70km on a 561wh battery? The ninebot max has a 561wh battery, and it's range was ADVERTISED to at 65km. But in reality, at 25km/h you will be lucky to get 40km out of it. And that's on flat road with a tail wind and a rider weight of 70kg max. So 70km range on this thing is complete BS, unless you weigh 45kg and ride at like 10km/h speed
@@kaszu2001 mate that is completely wrong. The formula to calculate the Wh is Wh=mAh*Volts. So with 561.5Wh and 12Ah the battery of the Mi 4 Ultra has a Voltage of 46.79V round to ~48V. And the G30d ii is 551 Wh at 36V so the Amp Hours are 15.3A. The Energy stored in the Battery is determined by Wh, because watts are a unit of energy and watts/hour is a specific amount of energy so when two scooters have the same Wh and they have motors with the same efficiency and friction is the same on both then u got the same range.

In what way? It has 8,5 wheels, solid rear wheel which u can unfortunately feel and an inconvenient folding system. Also the LCD is a generic one, common in many, many models of those chinese scooters. And it doesn't really fit any of them, because it always shows inacurate data about battery, distance etc. Also the handle bar feels a little unstable on the vsett. Well I mean the vsett is a decent roller and can be unlocked easily which for the time being is not possible with xiaomi ultra. The ultra however wins with the overall build and components quality. And it will be unlocked eventually.
Thanks for the review sir. but is it possible to hack that speed limit? cause for me 25kmh is quite low for my daily. 40kmh max is a must for a better daily ride so i can maintain the speed round 30-40 kmh
I think there might be a way to cheat the speed even if it is blocked....maybe adding a speed battery like 8 volts or 12 volts in series....do it on your own risk...
It’s normal, it only makes that sound because it’s a geared motor so the thing you’re hearing are the gears. I was wondering the same thing when i first bought it 🤣

13S batteries rarely go above 50km/h, my Daly 50A BMS runs in my Navee S65 gives a max of 49km/h....the stock battery will be a bottleneck here I suspect 40-43km/h max.
I mean its pretty safe to say for the money you will pay based on the speed and power of this scooter this is pretty much hot trash. Why anyone would be looking to go only 25kmph on a scooter like this is just baffling, plus serious hill climbing requires more than a 940w peak. It's basically over engineered for a very slow scooter. The only time it may become useful is once it gets hacked, but even then for the money there are already loads of better more powerful faster options.

@@sleepyjoe7843 I've been using the 4 Pro for ~5 months now and I'm getting that 35-40 km @80 kilos
@@sleepyjoe7843 48V system in Ultra will need less Ah to provide higher range, obviously factory data is somewhat bullshit, but not completely.
@@kaszu2001 VSETT8 has 48V battery too. And is 5kg lighter and has 15AH. This scooter is 5kg heivier and has only 12AH. I have Vsett8 and it does 35-45km so I expect even less than that.
@@sleepyjoe7843 vsett 8 has solid tires. Solid tires eat range
How much?
My lower back kills me after driving a lot of escooter without Suspension, i hopw this one will eliminate this Problem!
Wow super great can you unlock the speed? If so Let us know 👍🏽
All i need is how fast it can safelly go max speed
How do you test this scooter so soon?
I had it since the launch at MWC.
@@TKBay cool!
Can you unlocked speed Mi electric scooter 4 ultra? Or not
No...not for a long time...even Pro4 is not yet unlocked, if you buy this you will be stuck with stock limit for a long time.
@@kaszu2001 the another Mi electric scooter can unlocked speed 25 km/hr to 35 km/hr not hardware which install to scooter but I used download setting firmware only. It can't stuck my scooter.
can i make it faster?
Why mine lock at 10kmph only
nice one bro
Monorim At present, I also want to discuss and study scooters with the majority of bloggers and users for mi4 pro models and other kinds of models. With excellent ideas, monorim will give you free products you want
Is there the new technology battery inside Sodium-Ion ?
Basically a Navee S65 with front drum brake instead of rear disc brake and without geared motor (thanks to that has regen braking).
And better looking than Navee.
I think the Navee looks way better. And it has much more torque. The downside is mediocre braking capability at speeds over 30 kph due to the single disc brake...
@@stanl894 My S65 is with Nutt hydraulic providing way better braking performance to stop me from 45km/h.
@@kaszu2001 how did you unlock the speed ?
@@MmvV762 I have replaced controller to VESC, I have built a 3 times bigger battery, now 48V31.5Ah, 49km/h max and range is around 70-80km.
are these scooters accepted in airline baggage?
please connect it with apps like downG
DownG will not even see this, BLE protocol is brand new.
@@kaszu2001 already thought that probably same with 4 pro
Can you please tell me how noisy it is? Because Navee s65 is very noisy...
Price??
999.99 euros in europe
If it's hacked it can go 55km/h I'm sure it can
I think more around 45km/h. Comparing to VSETT8 which is lighter.
13S batteries rarely go above 50km/h, my Daly 50A BMS runs in my Navee S65 gives a max of 49km/h....the stock battery will be a bottleneck here I suspect 40-43km/h max.
@@kaszu2001 Hello, is there a speed unlock for Navee S65 ? or you just do it by changing parts ?
I mean its pretty safe to say for the money you will pay based on the speed and power of this scooter this is pretty much hot trash. Why anyone would be looking to go only 25kmph on a scooter like this is just baffling, plus serious hill climbing requires more than a 940w peak. It's basically over engineered for a very slow scooter. The only time it may become useful is once it gets hacked, but even then for the money there are already loads of better more powerful faster options.
It's a 25kg beast. You definitely have to be a beefy man to carry that with one arm up and down a tight flight of stairs every day
