That’s nice of you to say. I’m really enjoying the growth process and as long as people continue to care about my garage projects, I’ll do my best to share them!
For the first time I've bought my self that marino wool wash mitt in this video and it's a pure pleasure to wash your car with from now on I wouldn't wash my 2 cars with any other wash mitt.

Wow! I think that VW came out beautifully! If it were my car i would be more than thrilled with all your work! Unfortunately i guess we can't stop all the crap that happens to our rides, we can only try to protect and maintain them to the best of our abilities! Awesome work!!!!
If I wasn't so worried about messing up the PPF, there's a few things I could have tried, but I have seen some films go murky with any kind of chemical. I'd like to have a second go now that I have a few more years' experience under my belt.
Pet peeve of mine when people snowfoam then begin 2 bucket washing, idea of snowfoam is to loosen dirt, THEN YOU RINSE ! ...not rub it into the paint. Was glad to see you rinsed snowfoam off then touch washed after. Lovely car, lovely colour.
Yeah, I like getting that foam in all the nooks and crannies and then blasting it out of there taking any hidden dirt with it. Thanks for watching and commenting.
I appreciate that! I feel fortunate to have as many viewers as I do, but with each new video I release, it's great to see more and more people tuning in.
RAD Garage strikes again!!! the car turned out looking fantastic and i LOVE thatwe got to see the steps from A-Z, those are my favorite types of videos!
I could have included even more details, but it sometimes gets to the point where I need to work and not worry about the camera. At some point, I will do a video that documents every single step I take. Prepare for a marathon! Thanks Mike!
Thanks, I'm glad you get something out of them. I am not a "this is how you should detail" channel. I just like sharing my approach with others and focusing on the beauty of the process.
Thanks my friend. I plan to keep producing videos as the winter progresses, but I need to make some improvements to the garage floor to allow for water usage on the really cold days. Visit again soon!
I’ve been here since the very beginning, it’s great to see you grow! Side note - Citrol 266 works GREAT on tar. Better than anything I’ve ever used. It’s one of those specialty products that is a must have for those weird situations where nothing else works.
Citrol 266 - I'm on it! Thanks for being on of the channel OG's. I have enjoyed your feedback and support over the years. I'm happy with where the channel is and where it is going.
Thanks man. I have to thank the owner for agreeing to leave the car with me for as long as I needed it. I couldn't have achieved results close to this without his patience and understanding.
I was so relieved the one-step worked so well. Very few passes and 99% success. I was fully prepared for a two-step polishing marathon. The paint was very nice to work with.
Man, I wish I lived near you. I liked the clip a few minutes into it; somehow, I knew you were going to outdo yourself. But what is with you and VW Golf GTIs/R32s? LOL! Do not get me wrong; I love them, too. As always, you did a great job with that R.
There's no rhyme or reason behind the cars I end up working on. It all comes down to who discovers me and how much they appreciate my approach to detailing. It just seems the VAG team recognizes my talents more than others!
Awesome as always Rick. Although not as rare as older models in the R family, it’s still such a special car. I love the subtle oem+ touches on the car. Looks like you really enjoyed the process. Great stuff sir!
@@RADGarage I don't know why NA always gets other and most of the time uglier tail lights as we in Europe. I'd always change them out if I was North American
I really think it is because we send cheapskates to the factories to place our bulk orders and they are always in search of ways to keep their costs down so they can make more money. I wasn't able to get a few options on my SQ5 because Audi Canada decided (for some reason) to order theirs with no dynamic steering, dynamic front indicators, self-park, or cordless phone charger. (Just to name a few). Plus, Canada had a fraction of the colour options available globally. So frustrating.
Have the Euro spec with the same color. Love the way you handled the vehicle. I watch plenty of detailing videos and yours is up there bud. Keep it up. New sub!!
Hey Rick... this is cool...I would thoroughly enjoy your insight on care and maintenance of clear bra/ PPF protected vehicles. Also wondered if you usually restrict Quickjack usage to your personal vehicles... I have a pair these days most cars jacking points are certainly different... Really enjoy the transition you made a few months ago with more narration... Keep up the super work...
Thanks for the feedback. For my personal vehicle, I treat the PPF like paint and ceramic coat it and I will give it a light polish. The film on this R wouldn't stand for even the lightest of polishes. So, it really depends on your film. I don't often want to use the QuickJack on vehicles belonging to others because of the point you made regarding jacking points. How terrible would I feel if I inadvertently caused damage to a car? Unless it is a friend I know very well, I prefer to keep the car on the ground. Not that I don't trust the QJ, I just don't trust my luck! Yeah, the videos have a bit more variety, so I will continue to evolve and react to what viewers suggest. Thanks for stopping by.
@@RADGarage Thanks for your reply.. I have a Soul Red Mazda Miata... I had the entire hood and front quarter panels done with the rest of the car uncovered.. I have another vehicle that I had entirely PPF'd along with a ceramic coating. I must admit with the entire car "protected," I don't stress about it... But, there is the side of me that enjoys the challenging aspect of caring for bare clear coat... Take care .
I understand your point very well. Protection is great but when you enjoy the maintenance process you are denying yourself the opportunity to do what you enjoy. It's a no-win situation! But, it's also a no-loss situation.
Not yet! I have a water drainage project lined up for sometime this Fall. Currently, the water just hits the floor and flows out the door, but I will having a company rip out the floor at the front of the garage and repour it with a channel and catch basin to "catch" the water. This will eliminate the annoying water freezing in the winter under the door. Stay tuned. In the meantime, have you seen my Garage Tour Video?
Loved watching those Pretorias getting a good scrub down! Great job, Rick! I believe '18 was the first year of the gloss black trim on the side skirts instead of the previous body coloured rocker-panels/skirts as well as some other subtle changes including digital dash. Lovely car - far more capable than most out there. Possibly the best all around daily driver that exists, period.
I agree that it is a top choice for a fun daily driver. The fact you can't get one in Canada with a sunroof just baffles me though. That black trim just set the car off in my opinion. So well conceived and executed. I'd be happy with one as a second car when that time comes.
@@RADGarage Yes it'd be a hoon on old banff coach road! Yes it's unfortunate about the sunroof but it was a necessary casualty to its admission to the North American Market. Being built on the same tools as the E-Golf was an important factor in their decision to bring the car here, and it ended up bringing the benefit of a wonderful array of "spectrum" colours which were originally a part of the E-Golf marketing plan. My fave... Irish Green! Lapiz blue is the quintessential Mk7/7.5 Golf R colour though! If you havent seen it Rick, look up the Oetingger body kit that was made available for these through the VW parts catalogue. Gorgeous!
@@RADGarage haha. My wife says I know it all - But I don't think she means it as a compliment. I know a thing or two about VAG. Good community for it here in Calgary.
Thanks, your comment means a lot to me. I am very lucky that seven awesome artists have agreed to let me feature their music in my videos, and it really adds to the feel. Take care.
RAD GARAGE are they on Spotify? Also- I use a rotary to polish- what would you recommend for those real tight spaces and books and crannies and to machine polish those out.
I've done a lot of projects (for me at least) but I believe I used a one-step polish with the Adam's one-step pad for that entire car. It came out real nice.
Hello from Malaysia 🇲🇾 04:59 - Yes, gloves are a GOOD idea. I sliced my knuckle on the rear brake disc the other night. 🤕 I'm wondering if I'll scrub off the coating I have on my rims if use wheel cleaner products, so I've always relied on normal car shampoo for them. Not doing a real good job though. Any advice?
Cleaners definitely wear away coatings. So, you are going to have to use less aggressive cleaners, dilute your cleaners, clean less often or plan on applying your wheel coatings more often. How dirty do wheels get in Malyasia? I have a great friend who just sent me a few boxes of quality detailing gloves and they should be here very soon! I am running dangerously low and are really hard to source right now.
@@RADGarage it depends on the amount of rain I have to drive through. Typically for city driving and the amount of brake dust caking the wheels, the black pretorias will look brownish-grey in a week. Not too bad but if I leave them that way for a while, it'll get pretty hard to get its black sheen. I'd have to go for a polish and re-coat every year if I want to really maintain its gloss if I put in minimal care. Washing them often will help extend that duration, perhaps.
That sounds like the kind of maintenance I do up here where it is winter at least half the year. I don't always coat my wheels, because like you, I have to clean them often. Sometimes, adding coatings can complicate things.
It's just because you are weird. Like me! The floor in my garage is perfectly suited to my needs. Let me know if you have any questions about Swisstrax.
Hey Rick, Just wanted to say how much I enjoy all of your videos and ask a question... How do you clean that super easy to scratch plastic that covers the instrument cluster? Seems like anything that touches that plastic if you’re not careful it’ll leave a scratch induced kinda haze...
My best advice is to never clean it. Like you say, some manufacturers use super soft and easy-to-scratch plastic and there's no trick I know to fix that aside from taking the dash apart to pull that piece out to polish. I can't get a Nano iBrid in there, so there's nothing I can do. I use a super clean and soft microfibre with a glass cleaner and just gently go over mine, and it seems to be working, but I'm sure a certain angles and in certain light, I have swirls in mine. Maybe there is someone out there that makes screen protectors for dash consoles?
RΔD GΔRΔGE Thanks for your advice. BTW I relate to your description of “therapy.” Few people understand why we get so OCD (their description). I say, “it’s just like owning a Harley-Davidson, “If I have to Explain you wouldn’t Understand.” Keep the videos coming my friend. Thanks again..
Those projects that happen in the summer are usually better captured because I have the time and nothing else to distract me. I watch this one regularly as well. Thanks for the comment.
Great video! Love that color blue. That guy must have driven through a lot of road repaving to get that much tar. The tire covers are new? What was your thinking on those? Curious. Thanks again! 👍😎
His car was sitting in a lot while the lot next door was being repaved. It was really nasty stuff. My Gyeon Q2M Tar remover wasn't up to the task. I had to bring in the steam and use it in conjunction with the remover. I really need to up my "tar game". The wheel covers were primarily for the polishing step, but the Adam's one-step process generates virtually no dust so they weren't really necessary. I keep them on for the wash since I was performing a clay treatment on the car and wouldn't be pulling out the Master Blaster so it saved me from having to dry them a second time. Not sure I'm explaining that properly.
Hello friend, good morning I promise that your videos are incredible and very helpful for those of us who are starting thanks, and taking advantage I wanted to ask you where you bought the tire covers they look very useful
Thank you for the supportive comment. I am so glad people can enjoy and learn from my projects. Those are CarPro wheel covers I sourced here in Canada through Carzilla.ca. For people outside of North America, you could possibly source them through your local CarPro dealer. Here's the link: carzilla.ca/products/carpro-wheel-cover-new?_pos=1&_sid=013f18e5e&_ss=r&ref=RADGARAGE
Hello. Sublime result. Regarding the prewash. Is there a secret that the foam stays on the body for a long time? What was your dilution? Did you use hot water? Demineralized water? Reverse osmosis water?
Thanks for the kind words and for the question regarding my foam process. I am quite liberal with the amount of Mega Foam I add to the cannon. The water is softened water, but nothing elaborate there. I am quite fortunate that my foam setup works so well considering I put very little thought and effort into it. It just kind of works for me.
@@RADGarage Thank you very much for your answer. Adam's Mega Foam looks like a great pre-wash shampoo and creates a very dense lather. For my part, I put water in my foam gun for this step. And like you, I have a water softener.
Hey Rick, just keeps getting better mate. Craftsman at work. What size is your garage? I’m planning a build at the moment and yours looks to be good size. Not ultra massive, enough to get the job done comfortably. Cheers Ren 🇦🇺
BrentReyno Thanks Ren. My garage is basically 24’ x 24’ with a few exceptions. There’s a floor plan on this page of my website: www.radgarage.ca/build.html Good luck with your build!
Nice production quality! Any issues with mold and mildew under the swisstrax? Trying to decide between that or porcelain tile in the garage. I've been leaning towards the tile
No, it works pretty good for me. The water evaporates a little bit, but most just flows out the door. It has been really muggy here lately so it has been a bit uncomfortable, but no moisture issues due to the usually dry air up here.
I did consider using the QuickJack. The only issue preventing me from pulling it out was that I needed to have the option of quickly moving that car in and out of the garage over the course of the three in the event a damaging thunderstorm developed. The hail has been torrential this summer here.
Not often do I watch let alone subscribe to other professional detailers in the world, but your camera work and format ticks all my Boxes of what I’d like to achieve just don’t know where to start with video. Would appreciate maybe a tutorial/ kit used video? Amazing content 💪🏼
What can I say? That's the ultimate compliment and I thank you very much. When starting out with videos, I just set my camera up on a tripod and took pretty basic video. I was actually quite embarrassed by the quality of my earlier content, but you have to start somewhere. With each new upload, I tried to make improvements and try new things, and now I feel like my stuff is worth being proud of. My advice to anyone is just do it. Don't overanalyze it. You get better with experience but you have to just do it. Thanks again for the supportive feedback. Take care, Rick.
It is an incredible colour of paint. And, very easy to work with. I was totally prepared to attack it with a two-step method, but I was surprised how effective the one-step method was. Plus, those Adam's one-step pads are incredibly easy to work with and create very little mess compared to foam. I was really happy.
Brilliant Rick, nothing more annoying then looking back knowing you’ve done the best job possible but theres still areas like you say outlines of tar present. For normal people and to the naked eye it looks amazing and not noticeable but for people like you and i we still know its there and we will never be 100% happy with that lol!! Also i would be so keen to see a video from you Rick testing some Carpro products and giving us you honest opinions on them 👍🏻
Veng It’s getting to a point now where companies are reaching out and sending me products. Maybe CarPro will hear you and step up! I was wishing I had some Eraser for the post-clay wipe down but I used Coating Prep by Adam’s which I’m not a huge fan of. I’d also like to try Reset. I used their water spot remover in the past and it was such a fail so I need to shake that off.
RΔD GΔRΔGE Thats brilliant Rick and ye water spot remover is always a difficult one isn’t it really? In my experience not many work great... i wouldn’t let that stop you from trying their products I’m a massive fan of them recently.. i think their ceramic coatings are great.
Just subscribed and gonna be here till the end, also one more thing is i wanna say this brings nostalgia to me i had a 2014 golf 7.5 r facelift and i sold it for financial reasons 😕 biggest regret i did but i bought a mk4 gti.. one day i hope i will get a new7 R again Keep up the great content.
Beautiful car! I’d love to have you detail my 2014 VW Jetta Sportwagen TDI...how much would you charge for a job like that? Of course the only trouble is that I’d never want to drive it after because I know it would never look as good as it did after one of your detail jobs!!
tsifty1 This tar etched deeper than minerals in water. I think the tar that saw lots of sun baked its way into the clear, possibly through the clear because nothing was able to completely remove the etches. I don’t have a rotary so maybe that would have done the trick. I use a 1:10 diluted squirt of Mega Foam when I’m using my Griot’s Garage exterior detail brush.
The floor is comprised of 16"x16" tiles in a ribbed pattern that allows for water to flow through the floor and under the floor out the garage door. I have it all explained on my website: www.radgarage.ca/swisstrax-floor.html
Awesome work Rick, watched few of your VAG featured vehicle videos. My gosh where has this car been parked, never seen so much tar on 1 car and so new. I have a non related question about your floor, how does the water drain under the tiles , you have a special drain underneath or???
If I recall correctly, the owner of that car parks next to a parking lot that was being re-paved and some collateral tar pieces ended up all over his car. Just one more challenge of owning a car in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. Easily the worst place to be a car guy! There is no drain at this time, but I am going to be putting a trench/catch basin system in very soon. For now, the water just slowly flows under the floor out the door.
Hi Rick ! Once again a great video with such a nice sountrack! Dude, your videos really rock ! Nothing more to say from my point of view since I find this content perfect. A nice "how-to" simply share passion for car care ! Congrats Rick ! Talk to you soon... Gregg
That's what I do. Take well cared for cars that are truly appreciated by their owners, and take them to the next level. Or, to the level they can afford! 😉
I always like how your organized, and how ur video just really good stuff. By the way what kind of steamer are you using ? Did see it in your equipment listing thanks .
Dameion Chambers The steamer is a great little unit called the “Firebird” by Mytee. Not enough room in the description for everything! Thanks for the support and question.
Hi, what Brush are you using for the wheel barrels? I personally have not yet found a brush I like and would like to try yours. I don't see it on your equipment/product list.
I use a Speed Master Pro wheel brush that is super hard to find now. The closest I can find these days is the EZ Detail Wheel brush, but it comes with blue bristles as opposed to the red ones. I think it is virtually the same brush and is available through Carzilla and other retailers.
Well, amazingly enough I only needed one 5.5" and one 4" one-step pad from Adam's to complete this Golf R. That doesn't include the hood and fenders though. I was impressed with how well those wool/microfiber pads performed and stayed effective. carzilla.ca/products/adams-one-step-pad-4-55-65?_pos=2&_sid=bca018f64&_ss=r&ref=RADGARAGE
Thanks for the sub! In my opinion, the spray coating is equivalent to a wax or sealant. It can be reapplied easily after a maintenance wash. If the owner gets his PPF replaced, I would be more than happy to have it back for a liquid ceramic coating application. This was the solution we came to in the interim.
It came out stunning! I'm just wondering - how did you protect the rear lights? Does such a plastic have a tendency to turn yellow over time after polishing (mostly headlights)? Cheers!
Thanks. I’m probably going to be seeing this Golf regularly so I’ll keep an eye on that. I have never had concerns with tail lights being polished. I know what you’re saying about headlights though. I usually ceramic coat those after polishing them.
I have only used that trim coat once so I can’t say too much about it at this point. I’m going to try it out on my own vehicle next and stick with VRT or PERL in the meantime.
RΔD GΔRΔGE ok thank you. I use chemical guys VRP right now and it does ok. I am about to ceramic coat our Camry and was wondering if that would be better to use than cquatz deluxe.
I have never used Deluxe. I have a few "permanent" trim coatings including the Cerakote, Black Wow, and the GTechniq C4 trim restorer and they have all worked with a variety of success in the past. It really depends on the trim and how well it "accepts" the coating.
Wheel covers!!! Brilliant!! Was wondering why you took so much time drying them. I’m thinking, d-uh!! They’re gonna get wet again! But nooooo 👍👍Fantastic as always!
vgphilippe66 Yes, it is a wool/microfibre pad that works perfectly in a one step process. This one is by Adam’s but I know other companies that produce a similar pad. The link is in the video description below. Thanks.
Thanks man. Currently, I have a smattering of T-shirts in various sizes. I would like to get some hats and hoodies made at some point. Just hard to gauge quality if I can't physically sample them. Here's a link: www.radgarage.ca/merchandise.html
So I am almost done 2 step correcting mine. Do you have any advice for getting swirl marks off of those gloss black B pillars? I’m scared shitless to touch them with this DA polisher
That trim restorer is ceramic-based and is supposed to last forever. I have lost track of that car and owner so I don't know how it has weathered. I will say, using that Cerakote is not something for the faint of heart. It goes on quick and leaves little time to deal with any mistakes. You have to have a steady hand.
Hey my friend, another great video as always. Tar is always a pain in the butt to deal with. Normally, I'll use Tar X with my decontamination stage, if its really bad then ill pull out the Citrol 266. I highly recommend you look into my friend. Its extremely popular for us detailers to have a can or two of that laying around for stubborn adhesive or tar that won't come off. I'm sure you can get it in Canada 🇨🇦
This is valuable feedback. I really need to add to my bug and tar arsenal. I was outmatched! have you ever had PPF react negatively to tar remover sprays? Do you remove tar after foam and hand wash, or before?
@@RADGarage I wash my cars first. So do your normal procedures, foam, wash, then decontamination, tar, iron, clay. That's normally how I do it to minimize scratches and marring. PPF is always tuff, I always try to find out which manufacturer the film is, whether 3M, Suntech whichever, then reach out to there tech dept for the best results on there film. There always happy to help.
Yeah, the owner and I were trying to trace our way back to the PPF installer to see if we could figure out what film it was. I love how effective PPF is at protecting from rock chips, but it does severely limit your options in terms of what you can do to make that area pop. That said, I will probably film my entire car when I move on from the SQ5 in a few years.
@@RADGarage Gyeon PPF Renew is a great product for film. It restores the shine of the film. Use a black or red pad, low speed and it'll shine right up. It acts as a cleaner polish for film. Hope it all helps my friend.

An absolutely beautiful result.
Thank you! Cheers!
Great job! Thoroughly enjoyed 👍
Thanks Danny. Lots more similar projects on lots of amazing cars. Be sure to subscribe if you haven’t already! 🙏
Have the Euro spec with the same color. Love the way you handled the vehicle. I watch plenty of detailing videos and yours is up there bud. Keep it up. New sub!!
Thanks man. I like to think I bring a fresh approach to the detailing video scene.
Hey Rick... this is cool...I would thoroughly enjoy your insight on care and maintenance of clear bra/ PPF protected vehicles.
But, it's also a no-loss situation.
great vids, i'm fascinated by the garage setup, do you have a tour video especially around water drainage?
@@RADGarage just watching the door opener upgrade first lol love the setup and the tiles on the floor look sick as well
Loved watching those Pretorias getting a good scrub down! Great job, Rick! I believe '18 was the first year of the gloss black trim on the side skirts instead of the previous body coloured rocker-panels/skirts as well as some other subtle changes including digital dash. Lovely car - far more capable than most out there. Possibly the best all around daily driver that exists, period.
and 10:59, score off and loud drips, is the best part ☺️
Gorgeous!
What don't you know?
@@RADGarage haha. My wife says I know it all - But I don't think she means it as a compliment. I know a thing or two about VAG. Good community for it here in Calgary.

Thanks, your comment means a lot to me. I am very lucky that seven awesome artists have agreed to let me feature their music in my videos, and it really adds to the feel. Take care.
RAD GARAGE are they on Spotify? Also- I use a rotary to polish- what would you recommend for those real tight spaces and books and crannies and to machine polish those out.
Yes, they are all on Spotify. You can check all their links out here: www.radgarage.ca/RAD-artists.html

What compound or whatever it’s called are you using for the pillars and tail lights ? Looks great 👍🏽
I've done a lot of projects (for me at least) but I believe I used a one-step polish with the Adam's one-step pad for that entire car. It came out real nice.
Hello from Malaysia 🇲🇾
04:59 - Yes, gloves are a GOOD idea. I sliced my knuckle on the rear brake disc the other night. 🤕
I'm wondering if I'll scrub off the coating I have on my rims if use wheel cleaner products, so I've always relied on normal car shampoo for them.
@@RADGarage thanks for the expert insight man. And keep giving us them therapeutic high quality videos! You are awesome!
You're too kind.

vgphilippe66 Merci beaucoup!
Yup, there is a lot I enjoy in the process. Of course, nothing stays clean for very long, but getting it super clean satisfies my chi. ☯️
Awesome video! Great job on the car! Absolutely stunning! Love your videos! So relaxing and soothing.
Daniel Clark Thanks Daniel. I’m glad you liked it.

New subscriber here. Watched the Golf R Lapiz blue video and loved the chill style you put into your videos. Keep up the good work.
Cool. If you are in search of chill style detailing, you came to the right place. Check out the RS6 and RS5 vids I posted recently.
@@autocleanet40 Conditioned water is a big part. Hard water just isn’t the same.
Hey Rick, just keeps getting better mate. Craftsman at work.

Very nice job and video Rick but I need to know why you didn’t pull out your Quickjack’s?
I did consider using the QuickJack. The only issue preventing me from pulling it out was that I needed to have the option of quickly moving that car in and out of the garage over the course of the three in the event a damaging thunderstorm developed. The hail has been torrential this summer here.
I understand. Keep up the good work
Not often do I watch let alone subscribe to other professional detailers in the world, but your camera work and format ticks all my
Boxes of what I’d like to achieve just don’t know where to start with video.
Beautiful car, and a beautiful result Rick!
Many thanks!
Add more videos like this one!!! I love it!
I'm happy to hear you enjoyed it. I'll do my best to keep the content coming but I go back to work in a few weeks.
That color pops, great job

Thanks. Pricing is tricky because I never know how long a project will take until I get a good look at the car.
Very nice work as always. I would love to have one of those 1inch polishers. I really enjoy all the great camera work and editing.
Shaun M Thanks Shaun. That iBrid is a costly but fun tool to use. And thanks for the compliments on my video work.
Rick do the tat spots eat clear coat like water spots? Second what lube u use for brush cleaning during foam stage?
tsifty1 This tar etched deeper than minerals in water.
Quick question, so why does your floor have that checker pattern, what is the meaning behind it? Is there a drain system?
Wow! Both the car and video turned out beautiful, great job Rick :)
Keith C Thanks Keith. Nice to have the requisite amount of time to turn out a quality detail and video.

I think it is virtually the same brush and is available through Carzilla and other retailers.
wow amazing. How many polishing pads do you usaully use when you compond or polish a 4 door. Thank you
Well, amazingly enough I only needed one 5.5" and one 4" one-step pad from Adam's to complete this Golf R. That doesn't include the hood and fenders though. I was impressed with how well those wool/microfiber pads performed and stayed effective. carzilla.ca/products/adams-one-step-pad-4-55-65?_pos=2&_sid=bca018f64&_ss=r&ref=RADGARAGE

What do you have in the spray bottle when you go around the car with a brush? Soap?
Yeah, it's a rich mixture of Adam's Mega Foam and water.
@@RADGarage awesome. I’m going to start doing that when going around with a brush.

Mirsad Begic Thanks so much. It’s a lot of work, but it is enjoyable and satisfying work.
Incredible work you have done! Wish my car detailed once by you
Thanks man. I like to spoil cars for some strange reason.
New subscriber, amazing work. How does the ceramic spray fair against ceramic coating?
Thanks for the sub! In my opinion, the spray coating is equivalent to a wax or sealant. It can be reapplied easily after a maintenance wash. If the owner gets his PPF replaced, I would be more than happy to have it back for a liquid ceramic coating application. This was the solution we came to in the interim.
Cheers from Australia
Fair dinkum mate.
How well and easy to use is the trim coating you have a long too in your products you use?
RΔD GΔRΔGE ok thank you. I am going to try the deluxe and I will give you an update.

Thanks.

That's cool of you to say. Nice to hear from a fellow Rocky Mountain Man!
So I am almost done 2 step correcting mine. Do you have any advice for getting swirl marks off of those gloss black B pillars? I’m scared shitless to touch them with this DA polisher
They clean up real easy with a polisher. Just do a test spot. You’ll see. Easy peasy.
@@RADGarage so just use a foam polishing pad with polish? Is compound too aggressive?
I always start with the least aggressive polish I have. It doesn't take much to correct soft glossy plastic.
nice trim restoration.. how much time does it lasts?? days or months?
That trim restorer is ceramic-based and is supposed to last forever. I have lost track of that car and owner so I don't know how it has weathered. I will say, using that Cerakote is not something for the faint of heart. It goes on quick and leaves little time to deal with any mistakes. You have to have a steady hand.
@@RADGarage thank you for your respond... Which is the name of product?

I'll add it to my growing list of stuff I need after this project!
