Thanks Glock for making every gun company make so many polymer framed pistols. I understand it's durable but it feels cheap, I'd take a full metal pistol any day. I own a Glock and I love it but I'd love it more with a metal frame.

The Beretta is a clearly superior combat pistol. Reliability is the same between the two. But, I say the Beretta has a better grip, a single action trigger, better sights (in my opinion), better weight, suppressor ready out of the box. The Glock is smaller, lighter, and cheaper. Those are pretty much its only advantages.
Clearly superior??? Have you actually carried a Beretta on your hip day in and day out? They rust, jam, and the trigger pull is a mile long on the first round causing most people in a stressful situation to lose thier sight picture and throw it down and left. The Glocks recoil is much tighter and its slides flat top allows for the shooter to regain their sight picture quicker. Also, the Berettas mags are junk.

Kind of Apples and Oranges, but the A3 alll day over the 19x. Same ole Glock trigger minus utilizing the old 17 mags you have laying around only plus would be the night sights. The A3 has a lot of true upgrades over the old models.
Just purchased a 92a1 here at the end of 2020. Optioned from the factory with a threaded barrel. I've added threaded barrels to two of my glocks. As I get older I appreciate quiet more and more. Can't believe I've never acquired a Beretta before now.
Beretta was my side arm in the service. Wasn't a huge fan of it, shot well enough. Now that I'm out, I really like it. Thinking of picking up an M9A3 now. Great video!
Do get it! Take a look at the 92G Elite LTT also, the one from Langdon Tactical with the trigger job. That too is a super sweet Beretta, maybe even more so.
I carried the Beretta during my entire military career and hated it for its size, basically the grip aspect. I do own a Beretta M9 and a Glock 19 and I would sell the Glock 19 any day of the week over the Beretta. However, I would gladly give up both my Beretta M9 and my Glock 19 for this new Beretta M9A3, clear winner in my book. BTW, soldiers are goofballs the chance of soldiers having accidental discharges with any striker fired gun is way more its better safe than sorry.
Mike S How do you figure? They both have external safeties, and when the hammer of the Beretta is cocked and it's in single action mode, it's got a similar trigger weight to the Glock. The hammer of the Beretta will be cocked with the thumb, so when both pistols are deployed, they'll both have the same trigger weight. (No one is going to be using the Beretta without the hammer being cocked after it has been taken out of the holster. When a soldier detects a threat, and needs to draw his sidearm, he'll immediately cock the hammer.)
Andrew, their are more accidental discharges with Glock's than any other pistol, safety comes first and everyone with a Beretta will carry it in DA, so safer. The Glock for me isn't comfortable in hand and apparently not for many others since they sculpt their hand grips, angles, stippling, etc. I own a Steyr like it better but still don't carry it as I'm not so much a Striker fired fan, despite owning several. This new Beretta looks more comfortable and offers several advantages over the original Beretta M9 for sure and is a winner in my eyes to the Glock 19 and Beretta M9. However, if you want a superb fighting pistol take a look at the Jericho 941F in steel, now that is my go to war pistol favorite. My Daily carry is a SIG P232 but I do have many other options that I use as well, but it's never a Glock 19 mine collects dust and hasn't been fired in a few years. If you want crazy fun shoot a RIA .22TCM9R they are a blast to shoot! Happy Collecting and shooting!
That Beretta is really nice, but a standard Glock(not the 19X) will do the exact same thing for half the price. I'd like to own that Beretta though. The M9A3 is almost the same price as the Sig P226 Mk25.
The one thing that is overlooked, you will need a "Booster" if you plan on using a silencer on the Glock. The Beretta being a "fixed barrel doesn't. The Beretta can be converted to DAO.
Since I have a few pistols closer to the Beretta, I think Imma go buy that exact Glock. I've always wanted one and it just looks fantastic. I love both guns though and I will eventually pick up this Beretta as well. Great review too.
@@carll.freemanjr.9867 different people have diffrent preferences. Although i do agree glock is outplayed by other pistols most of the time. You cannot deny its reliability. I personally have an obsession with both. But personally based on my prefrences and uses. I like the glock more imo. But i gotta agree. The beretta is just better pricewise and functionality wise
I'll keep this simple, I've carried both the Glock 22/23 (.40cal) and the Beretta 92f (9mm) and Beretta 96D (.40cal) in tactical settings. The Glock wins hands down without any hesitation at all. The Beretta does not even belong in a video being compared to ANY Glock. The Beretta absolutely refuses to function if not cleaned regularly when exposed to the elements, or even when its clean and debris gets inside of the huge opening in the top of the slide and the magazines rust. Thats another issue that people dont normally know about with Berettas, the magazines are junk. The police dept I worked for issued Berettas (because they were cheap as shit) and out of my 44 man academy 27 of us opened new Berettas and magazines out of the box and had at least one mag that was trash and would not seat rounds. I actually worked on the street for 8 months knowing that the last round in 2 of the 3 magazines I was carrying would not seat the last round in them. I would actually train to adjust for this in case I ever had to use either if my 2 back up mags in a fire fight. The Glocks I've owned never malfunctioned when I was shooting them....ever. The only time I have ever seen one malfunction is when user error occurs (not a firm enough grip on the weapon causing the slide not to seat the round). I could list about 20 more reasons why the Glock is in a completely different category in my opinion but I wont waste your time. There is a reason the Glock was number 2 and the Beretta was not even considered.
Thank you! I absolutely love the G19x and i went to the comments to see what everyone else had to say about it but its Beretta this and Beretta that i was kinda shocked that most people wouldnt choose a glock over a Beretta other than the fact that the Beretta is a classic none the less and is a must in a collection but other than that Glock all the way
Amen. And the Glock doesn’t have all the shit / buttons tabs levers all over it. My second favorite handgun that I own is the fn 509 tactical, it also is a fantastic firearm. Looks are the last thing I care about when it’s purpose is to serve my intentions.
I'm not trying to diss Glock or anything, but wow...that M9A3 is just outright ungodly sexy! Lately I've been tempted to snag a Beretta APX from Gunprodeals all week long now. Current price is only $408, which is a phenomenal deal even after shipping and the FFL transfer fee. Of course I'm more intrigued about picking up the .40 S&W APX than the 9MM, you just can't deny or refute the performance it's had in LE. Especially after watching Paul Harrel's eye opening comparison between the two. Don't get me wrong 9MM is all fine and dandy, it's just not .40 S&W. Anyways great video Sootch! Keep up the good work. :)
Great work as always and I am very impressed. I lowered the front sight on my "G" model as 6 o'clock was low. It shot low out of the box. Thanks for sharing!
I know alot of people don't like DA, SA, Pistols but, I LOVE them!! I have both in many caliber flavors but, I still carry something with a hammer! I like the comfort of knowing when that hammer drop's it's going to fire! If you are worried about the trigger pull difference, practice your draw from the holster with a hammer pull. Hell, all the BEST Gun Fighters in the Old West had to! Think you could out draw them and, live to tell about it.?? If I have my pistol drawn and, know there is a threat near, I'm not moving from cover with the hammer down!! The trick is to know where your Booger Picker is, and, apply to said trigger as needed!!

@@nuevoordenmundial2193 out of control recoil too..rated the worst in recoil
Just purchased a 92a1 here at the end of 2020. Optioned from the factory with a threaded barrel. I've added threaded barrels to two of my glocks. As I get older I appreciate quiet more and more. Can't believe I've never acquired a Beretta before now.
sig beat glock by price?! Never thought I'd ever hear that
Price and modularity.
the Beretta is a real gun with a feeling of power in the hands, the others guns look like toy weapons.....Love Beretta❤️🇮🇹
I'm with you brothers , power in the hand means alot ... Either that berreta or the colt .45 1911
Yeah, brother. The Beretta looks so cool...
Such a handsome deadly machine.
I own a Beretta 45 and I can tell you they put so much technology and refinement into their guns
its a fde glock with night sights?
Ive got one with a double stack magazine well and it doesn’t look as good, but the larger capacity is nice.
Its 2020 and the 19x is a fantastic pistol
Yes it is!
It’s July 22 and I want one!
I like the Baretta M9A3 looks sweet. All Glocks look the same. Sticking with my HK VP 9SK.
When you opened the Beretta box it looks like my closet. When you opened the Glock box it looked like my wife's closet...
😊
Beretta was my side arm in the service. Wasn't a huge fan of it, shot well enough. Now that I'm out, I really like it. Thinking of picking up an M9A3 now. Great video!
From everything I've heard, the service berettas were beat to shit with minimal repairs. Civilian berettas are in WAY better condition
Similar trigger weight of the Glock? Please, that Glocks trigger doesnt come close to matching the beretta in SA mode......
I purchased the M9A3 recently and I am very satisfied with it. Recently picked up a G19X and I was intrigued and will pick one up soon
That Beretta is really nice, but a standard Glock(not the 19X) will do the exact same thing for half the price. I'd like to own that Beretta though. The M9A3 is almost the same price as the Sig P226 Mk25.
Ragemutt the "Standard" Beretta isn't twice the cost of the "Standard" Glock though.
Beretta since 1526 that's all folks!

Hard to argue with a company that’s been in business for 500 years

Great review. I’m hoping to eventually get the m9a3
Thanks Brother!
I sure do appreciate the fine job you did with the head to head comparison, but that Glock can’t hold a candle next to that Beretta.
Friends don't let friends buy Glocks....Beretta always wins.
I absolutely love my 19X. It feels great in the hand.
And now I'm getting rid of the P320RX to replace it with a M9A3
The one thing that is overlooked, you will need a "Booster" if you plan on using a silencer on the Glock.
Great review too.
berretta is the best pistol on planet in respect of abuse and relaibility...
Naw, the hk mk23 and usp series is. Berretta and sig p228 and p229 are close though. .so is glock
Fantastic comparison. Loved the fair & balanced commentary.
I'm a member of #TeamGlock but the Beretta is HANDS DOWN the better deal.
Glock is trash any day of the week compared to any gun.
Sootch channel is the best. Beretta "two thumbs up" and 6:52 magazine release I think.
This beretta is deff on my dream guns list. Can not wait until prices start to lower.
What would you take, the M9A3 or the Sig P226 Mk25? They're both almost the same price.
Ragemutt that’s hard, but I’ve always been a beretta fanboy.
+seth C $800 now. Glock is $600. By the time you put a threaded barrel on the Glock they are almost the same price.
@@MrIdasam beretta ..
I've been waiting for this comparison. Thanks Sootch.
The decocking lever and proven reliability on the beretta made my decision for me. This is what I trained with, this is what i'll use.
I will take the Beretta any day
i installed the G conversion in my m9a3. its now one of my favs
Thanks Vincent! I also have the APX on my list and that prices puts it even higher Lol!
Great work as always and I am very impressed. I lowered the front sight on my "G" model as 6 o'clock was low.
It shot low out of the box. Thanks for sharing!
Both are very good guns! I'm loving them!!!
greatest intros of any gun channel
I'm sorry I'm a huge Beretta Fanboy, Beretta M9A3 hands down!
Jessi Taylor I’m with you brother. I have and like my glocks but I love my Barretta s brother.
No need to apologize.
Jessi Taylor ****GLOCK WITH A 33RND MAG !!!! EVERYTIME !!!
Berreta makes 32-round mags, too.
m9 was my duty weapon...sorry but i went with glock for home defense. to each their own.
The Beretta just looks better. I have a pre USA army Italian 92 s. Love it except for the mag release. Would love to have the new one .
I just got my g19x and i have to say its a Keeper! 💯
Great video on comparing the two. Non biased can’t go wrong with either sidearm.
I shot expert 4 times with the M9. I actually own one. The slide pulls back so smooth. It is like heaven shooting it to me.
Great video really informative I really like how you explain everything in detail.
Love my m9a3, even more so because of the price I got it for! So damn pretty, my wife said I'd be crazy to ever sale it!
How much did it cost you? I just bought one brand new G model for $749
I love the minimalist look of gloc. It's just...perfect.
I’d take the M9A3 is a heartbeat and I love G19’s! I don’t care for the G19x.
Sootch. I admire you for pronouncing ‘ambidextrous’ properly. You win the internet.
I'm a glock guy, but that Beretta is sweet. Great video as usual
Thanks Matt!
Beretta cuz military personnel use it all over the world 💯
Used to
This guy's is a great shooting like a machine real fast
Excellent video well done✓
love the Beretta M9A3.
