From what I've seen of photos, the safety design seemed really, really tiny. And since the M17 thumb safety was already the smallest that I think is actually useable, I don't think the Glock 19X one would've been particularly ergonomic.
The Beretta M9A3 with the langdon tactical slide with a red dot plate is wonderful. I have a leupold deltapoint pro on it and it has been a solid shooter.
@Kevin-s7s ,oh wow. I just checked and can't find them anywhere. I paid somewhere around $500 for the additional slide since I wanted to keep my original slide stock.
The G19x, with the bevertail adapter on the grip, has been the only Glock I've ever liked, need a G45 to go with it. Also like the M18, maybe a little more than the 19X. The M9A3 is a elegant weapon, for a more civilized age.
@Pnda_Bear yes, but I swear my USP 45 and HK45 have less recoil than my G19X. The Beretta 90s series of pistols (especially the ones with the vertec straight grip) have the best 9mm recoil. Slight push and no muzzle flip. I need to shoot a P30L and see if it's close to the M9A3. So far, Beretta 92s have spoiled me. That DA trigger on the M9A3 (M9A4) is amazing.
The Glock for the military trial did have an external safety. The civi one does not. They all had to have the same specs the military asked for to even be considered
@@claytonlachance4920 I believe French or maybe German contract glocks have a manual safety and they never had an issue. I will say the p320 safety is extremely well placed and easy to use.

I own a Glock 17 (gen 3) and carry HK P30L or a 1911 (or Shield or PPK/S .380, or both), but mine and my son's first love is the Beretta m9/92fs, definitely the Beretta m9A3, even picking between all of them that's the most expensive so most practical to get across the board, could at least sell it for whatever you want lol.
nothing beats a baretta im sorry, but i do like my p320, not a glock owner but i have an fmk and i like it as well but my inox and my storm are my favs
The Beretta 92 design is like an Italian woman That you're trying to court and it may be difficult to get her to marry you but once you have her... You'll never let her get away and she is still as good with age as she is as soon as you meet her... Beretta and I have a beautiful love affair and I regret nothing.
I like the Beretta or the Glock. In a SHTF my BOB has a 19X and extra mags, several of the 33 round mags. I only have 1 hand that works so I need a capable pistol that holds a lot of ammo. Ive never tried the sig to be honest though.
I picked up a loaded (bench worked trigger and mag guide options) Wilson Combat/Beretta 92G Brigade Tactical around five years ago. A bargain at around $200 more then the M9A3s MSRP. Would take that over this trio hands down. Yes, I have shot all three of these vid guns side by side vs the BrigTac. A manual safety on a DA/SA handgun is 🤪.
Great video. I personally love shooting the P320. It naturally shoots great for me but I always have that worry in the back of my head about the quality issues which keeps preventing me from purchasing one. Does anyone know if the M17 has had any issues? Specifically discharging while holstered?
5:35 I mostly shoot Glocks and have the opposite problem, so when I present other handguns with a different grip angle (most other handguns), I often find that I'm pointing the muzzle low.
Well .. if you train well EVERY gun works just fine. While most westerners shoot some rounds and just think about aiming when they mishit too much Japanese guys have their own discipline in archery which includes "drawing the bow" only. If they would ever care to hit the target they will ;p
I have experience with all three in my opinion it goes like this 1:Beretta M9A4/M9A3 2:Sig m17 3:Glock 19x however I would put the 19x in #2 spot if it had a optics cut. The Beretta is the best pistol out of the bunch…..
I have the 19X, because in the country where I'm in, Glock just floods the market for parts and mags, and the SIGs are too expensive to lose. But that M9, I want too.
This was a great video. Super informative. Looks like I need to get a red dot sight. I had the exact same issue you described when shooting the m17. Is there an online retailer you prefer to source the sight?
Having shot and owning both the Shadow 2 feels better in the hand. It's also almost a pound heavier so it shoots really soft. The thin aluminum grip panels just feel better to me. The Shadow obviously has a better trigger given it's designed for competition where trigger feel is important.

Brother, I'm sure this has been mentioned before but you are a really good shot with a handgun...
The Beretta 92 design is like an Italian woman That you're trying to court and it may be difficult to get her to marry you but once you have her... You'll never let her get away and she is still as good with age as she is as soon as you meet her... Beretta and I have a beautiful love affair and I regret nothing.
The m9a3 is better then both of those and waaayyy better then the glock I don’t even think it’s comparable
I like the Beretta or the Glock. In a SHTF my BOB has a 19X and extra mags, several of the 33 round mags. I only have 1 hand that works so I need a capable pistol that holds a lot of ammo. Ive never tried the sig to be honest though.
All the guns in question has 30+ magazines.
My Beretta is 40. S&W , my M 17 is 9mm , 1911 is .45 and Taurus I think I can cover just about anything with those. The G**** I just don’t like .
M9 was the correct choice, what followed was insider trading
Or sig was actually modular and underbid everyone
I picked up a loaded (bench worked trigger and mag guide options) Wilson Combat/Beretta 92G Brigade Tactical around five years ago. A bargain at around $200 more then the M9A3s MSRP.
Would take that over this trio hands down. Yes, I have shot all three of these vid guns side by side vs the BrigTac.
A manual safety on a DA/SA handgun is 🤪.
I like Beretta M9A3 the most.

M9 takes the W
Great video. I personally love shooting the P320. It naturally shoots great for me but I always have that worry in the back of my head about the quality issues which keeps preventing me from purchasing one. Does anyone know if the M17 has had any issues? Specifically discharging while holstered?
Is there any notable difference (however subtle) between the M17 and M18? Which one would you prefer if you were limited to using one or the other?
I enjoy your video and you explained well in the 3 guns. Well done man. Good job.
The Beretta looks awesome
5:35 I mostly shoot Glocks and have the opposite problem, so when I present other handguns with a different grip angle (most other handguns), I often find that I'm pointing the muzzle low.
Well .. if you train well EVERY gun works just fine.
While most westerners shoot some rounds and just think about aiming when they mishit too much Japanese guys have their own discipline in archery which includes "drawing the bow" only.
If they would ever care to hit the target they will ;p
@@laktho Do bows have different handle angles?
@@jhutch1470 He has no fucking idea what he's talking about.
M9A3 is where its at for me.
I have experience with all three in my opinion it goes like this 1:Beretta M9A4/M9A3 2:Sig m17 3:Glock 19x however I would put the 19x in #2 spot if it had a optics cut. The Beretta is the best pistol out of the bunch…..
I have to agree
But also so much heavier than the P320, ill take the P320 10 out of 10 times
Should have got an FN 509 Tactical in there.
People keep rediscovering how awesome the Beretta is
I have the 19X, because in the country where I'm in, Glock just floods the market for parts and mags, and the SIGs are too expensive to lose. But that M9, I want too.
I haven’t decided which one out of the three I want. Saw a used M9 at Cabelas for almost retail price.
I love the Beretta! Want one badly!
3 great looking and performing handguns.
I want to like the 19X so bad I just hate that angle. “Yea well training blah blah”
If I don’t like how it feels in my hands I’m not going to buy it.
Not sure which to get. I’m a 1911 kind of guy but looking for something that I can carry concealed. What would you recommend?
I have Glock 19x and sig m18 and I can tell you the sig m18 is the way to go and is my daily everywhere I go
This was a great video. Super informative. Looks like I need to get a red dot sight. I had the exact same issue you described when shooting the m17. Is there an online retailer you prefer to source the sight?
Love the M9A3 haven’t shot the others there but prefer it way more than the CZ shadow 2.
Having shot and owning both the Shadow 2 feels better in the hand. It's also almost a pound heavier so it shoots really soft. The thin aluminum grip panels just feel better to me. The Shadow obviously has a better trigger given it's designed for competition where trigger feel is important.
I have both the shadow 2 and m9 no way its better than the shadow 2
@@RonnieTallud even the 92x competition model doesn't come close to the Shadow 2
@@bmstylee yup only pistol I’ve shot better than the cz shadow 2 was the ts2 and staccato xc
The beretta is a gentleman’s pistol. The other 2 are reliable but disposable and lack the charm.
as a glock hater, and owner of the m17 ...
M9 ftw
I wouldn't call myself an outright hater, but between the 3 the Glock is deffo dead last
Love them all! Glock 45, 1911a1 and STI 2011 here. After a SS M17 P320 next xD
Do you absolutely have to use a sig Romeo for the m17 ?
Hello, what is your red dot on the glock?
My Beretta M9A3 is awesome gun ,
