I’m not a Glock fan, not because the pistol isn’t great or super reliable but because I can’t stand the Glock idiots…
      Stop typing!
      Let me explain.
I work with several young people (around 20 years old ) who smoke lots of pot and think drinking every chance they get is a great time, and they have never been to a gun store or range, have never shot any firearm yet they think the Glock is the only pistol that exists, and wouldn’t own anything else.
      Those Glock idiots….
If you asked 90% of these kids what type bullet would be best in a Glock 17 for home defense you would get a blank stair, as they searched for an answer in their pot smoked brain and all that was coming up was just how bad they wished they were stoned.
I’m not opposed to buying a Glock, in fact I plan to buy a Glock clone in the near future, or if I run across a used Glock at the right price I will buy it.
Thanks for the wonderful gun reviews Honest Outlaw.

Really enjoy shooting mine. Carry it on occasion. Closing in on the 1000 round mark. Only issues I had was out of the box and the first 100 rounds. Had a few stove pipes, more than likely something I was doing wrong or ammo related. It has run great ever since. Another thing I’ve noticed is that some are either darker or lighter colored in the slides. My father-in-laws is lighter in color and I just saw one that was slightly darker than mine. The improvements on the G45 over the 19X pushed me to the 5th gen G45, which I got early on and before the MOS system was available. When I investigated upgrading to a red dot, I found that the most cost effective option (and one which gave me 2 fully operative pistols), was to go with the IWI Masada (which is almost identical to the G45 MOS, but at about half the cost), and then put my G45 into the Command Arms MCKGEN2 MCK 2.0 Conversion Kit, with a Eotech RMR, internal light and laser on it. Now as a civie, I carry a Leatherman Wave in a synthetic pouch and a mag in my Leatherman Super tool leather pouch. It works well for my CZ P10C & 365XL. Does not look out of place, has the Leatherman logo and keeps lint out of mags if they were pocket carried. I do pocket a light, usually a Surefire or Scorpion. I really enjoyed my 19X. However, I tried my buddies M17 and ended up loving it. Bought myself an M18 and sold my Glock. Personally, all of the minor gripes I had with Glock ended up being solved with the P320. The trigger, grip/frame, mag release, slide lock, etc. Don't get me wrong, Glock is great and I'm not fanboying for Sig at all, but the M18 just ended up being better for me and I'm just happy I found what helps me become a better shooter.

As you said in the video, just leave the guns stock, other than perhaps the sights and everything always works. Looks great. One thing about the 'Glock angle' that I do like, besides recoil control, is that I never lose the front sight. Sure it may be 2 inches high if I switch from a Beretta or a Sig to a Glock, but it's immediately visible and I can correct right away. I don't know if that's at all intentional on Glock's part, or just me finding a silver lining, either way, I like it.

NeoMag for pocket carry. Get the ones specifically for the Glock mags. The magnet is stronger to compensate for the plastic coating. For all metal mags, use their regular mag holders. Won't work on plastic or non-ferric mags. I also prefer the deep pocket version. Conceals better, but you can cheat the mag up a lot for range use, or if you spidie senses tell you a SHTF is about to occur. With a little practice, I'm as fast as a pouch. I love mine...

The Glock 19X is my duty pistol. I do Level 4 PPO work and I needed something reliable that I could use in a duty holster as well as CC and Home defense. The G19X fits that perfectly. I've only had a handful of malfunctions in the first 500 rounds all due to the range ammo (TulAmmo and Blazer) I was using. When I run quality ammo it never gives me problems. For work I need reliability over everything so a Glock was an easy choice. I love the Coyote color and the 19 round mags are great. It's my Do All Combat Pistol. I like stock Glocks so I'm not going to change anything other than maybe some different sights. For now it's perfect for what I need. I'm as accurate with it that I can be currently. Remember to train people.
I would still love to see a review on the Radian RamJet Afterburner because that's a very interesting upgrade. Love your channel Outlaw. Keep up the great work.

Then Glock came out with the 5th Gen Glock 45 which completely negates the need for the 19X to exist.
And yes, a 5th Gen Glock 19 MOS slide fits perfectly on the 5th Gen Glock 45. I have both and have tested this at my local range.

Disagree, and so do most 19x owners. 19x remains popular in spite of the 45 with it's dumb forward serrations and non-standard glock mags.

This is backwards, the 45 has no reason to exist. Forward serrations are stupid and peanut butter 🅱️lock is the best Glock

The real reason the Glock lost the MHS trial to the sig is solely because the sig was actually modular and the Glock wasn’t. At least not in the way the military wanted a modular handgun to be.

    • @bryanduchane2371
      @bryanduchane2371 2 ปีที่แล้ว +9

Typical Glock...... Military puts out a specification and Glock disregards it completely. Glock Engineers: "The US Military doesn't know what they want.... We will submit what they really want!!!!"

Love this gun a lot. It's one of the top guns on my bucket list to buy. I wish they offered it with the manual safety like the XM17 entry. I think they would sell like crazy and maybe glock would start offering more models with a safety as an option once they see the demand for them. I love the glocks I have, but it would be nice to get them with a safety. They're missing out on so much business because there's a lot of people who simply won't buy them because they don't have a manual safety.

Manual safety is pointless on a striker fired gun if you have a quality holster.

19x was my first glock, 45 mos will be its duty replacement to keep the 19x not milled. Mine was one of the really early ones out and i can see a few differences then yours on camera. Im over 2000 rounds with just a wipe clean occasionally, no issues.

Great review, I’ve always been a 1911 or a .45 cal guy in general and always had a carnal dislike for Glocks for a multitude of reasons bad ergonomics, horrible trigger pill, issues with reliability and as a reloader, the Glock bulge in brass. But I got to shoot the 19x this past couple of weekends and fell in love with it and I never thought in a million years I would hear myself say this but I’ll be buying a Glock 19x

I worked at the Gun counter at Rural King. I have personally been a Glock HATER! But I said once we get a 19X in I would over look it, and decide if I want to buy one. We got one in, I liked the Flat Dark Earth, the metal night sites, and the high capacity magazine's. First time shooting I was at a friend's outdoor range. I could barely hit any of his steel targets at 15 yards. A week later I took it to an indoor range. At 5 yards the grouping was OK. But anything pass that SUCKED! At 20 yards which was the max distance of the indoor range, it looked like a machine gun way out of control shot the target. I paid $625 out of the box, sold it for $500 two weeks after owning it. The sad part is, I can shot my SIG P365, P365X, and P365XL far better than that peace of crap! And now I think I'm going to be a P365 XMacro owner very soon!

Look at the G45 instead, besides color it's compatible with common Gen 5 mags and doesn't have the lanyard loop that's pointless in the civilian market
