    The major problem l have with your videos sir is that l often end up buying what it is you're reviewing....lol.
    Hk P7, Hk USP Tactical, Hk45 compact, and now today lve ordered a Beretta M9A3.
    All of those because of your videos...lol.
    Well done, sir!

    That safety mechanism is genius. I don't understand how you could say you don't like it. If you have a sharp mind like you should when using a firearm, you won't forget to take it off safety because you know your gun and you know what you're doing.

    I put one of these through it's paces last week. This is a must buy, especially the G model. Extremely smooth trigger, action, and great ergos. Super accurate. The Elite II started the path toward refining the platform and this one took it the rest of the way.

      If you don't plan to conceal it sure. This pistol was meant to be a duty pistol, so it's huge, which isn't a bad thing per se, except for conceal carry. Thankfully in my State you can open carry provided you meet some criteria, so that wouldn't be a problem here, but most places don't allow open carry

    I love mine. Incredibly smooth. Has the accuracy of a 1911 with the mag compacity of a 9mm. Love the sights and I am not a super talented shooter but I can hit the target accurately with this firearm. Only down side is the size, it was hard to find a comfortable holster.

    I bought one a year ago and couldn’t be happier with it. I’m like you Sootch, in that I really love Beretta 92/96 style pistols. But the M9A3 had the best trigger right out of the box than any other Beretta I’ve ever bought, and I have 9 Beretta 92/96 pistols.

    Just bought one stamped “Gallatin TN USA”. Besides a beautiful design, the trigger is amazing, and double taps are on target. A great firearm, with a 1911 feel, even for a Walther Fan Boy. Great review, Sootch!

    • @MybeautifulandamazingPrincess
      @MybeautifulandamazingPrincess 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      This gun is fact based on the Walther p38, the grip and the operation on the gun are nearly identical. The upper part is where 1911 look comes in. Beretta took a lot of inspiration from Walther in their guns, check out Beretta history

      I’ve shot the Sig P320 and it is a good gun. But I don’t like how too heavy it is. If not properly trained on how to grip you get a lot more recoil. Glock and Beretta have a lower bore than the Sig. I like them all, but I believe it should have been the Beretta or Glock.

In part the reason I pulled the trigger on the purchase is your great detail of what a buyer gets in the weapon and being a great investment. I own 2 92FS Inox's and a 92S so I'm no stranger to them. Also I checked around and Gun Pro has got the best deal going on them that I could find. I appreciate all your work doing these videos.

    Beretta addressed all the issues that have been brought up over its 30 year service. Think of the money the gov't could have saved by using the same series of firearm: training, spare parts, etc. but that's the gov't for you. Beretta won the contract over the Sig 226 because of price so I guess it makes sense to go with the Sig 320 because of price, although I have witnessed some real disasters by using the low bid. Price and availability have improved since the introduction of the A3 variant, hopefully that trend will continue and they will introduce one in black. Great job on the review as usual. Keep it up!

      It is gonna be way easier for the armory though! Now instead of spending a bunch of time shaving shaping and replacing, they can just toss the frame, upper or chassis and replace it Bing bang boom back to action.

      Michael G I agree but at the same time the Barretta had to go. The safety/ decocker was a terrible design a combat handgun needs to be point and shoot. And not all will be given away a lot will be sold off just like there doing with the old 1911s in the next month or so. But yes you are right we lost a lot of money on this.

    I have a 92FS bought new in 1980's Has original military trigger, long pull, I finally got it to shoot almost as good similar patterns as you in 10 meters. Most accuracy is determined by shooter!! My grip size is larger and harder to hold!!
    I improved grip for me substantially with Talon grips. You have to keep extractor clean and lubed. This has been only issue with mine. I found particles between extractor and frame causing failure to eject problems. Once cleaned and lubed I never had problem again!!! Very good review!! I wish I had the updated model to compare and decide which was best for me. VERY GOOD LOOKING PISTOL!!!.

    Just bought a CZ Shadow couple weeks ago and a M9A3 today...shot 500 rounds side by side. The Shadow had a better grouping, could be the shooter. But, both guns shot great side by side, didn’t have a single misfire. I am really impressed with both...I am now trying to figure how to explain two new guns within two weeks to my wife, real world problems:)

    Very nice.. I didn't know they were making them in Italy too. Mine was made in Tennessee , and it's awesome. My M92A1s are made in Italy, and they are just as good. The slide to frame fit is slick and they all shoot really nice. Definitely a fan of the M9 series and these M9a3s. Great video.

    Practice makes perfect. My CCW is a S&W 4013TSW which is also a double single action. when you are ready to holster, decock the hammer, then reset the decock lever, then holster. its a habit, from day 1. which is why I may consider the M92 series as a second CCW.

    They should of stayed with the M9, they would have saved money and training if they went with the M9A3.

      I agree. I used the M9 when in the Marines. I love it. Unfortunately, politics and money come into play when it comes down to it. I wish they would have stuck with the M9. It is my favorite handgun, for sure!

    • @skinywtboy
      @skinywtboy 7 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Why? The 320 is a better weapon all around and it's actually modular.. the m9a3 isn't able to be made compact.. they literally threw a threaded barrel and a light rail on the m9....

    • @GhostTactical
      @GhostTactical 7 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      Not saying that the P320 is a bad gun... I just prefer the M9...

    • @jessitaylor4170
      @jessitaylor4170 7 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Ghost Tactical I prefer the M9A3 also, it's a true and proven design, like I said before they could have saved money on parts and training.

    there are a lot of trends and fads with pistols... i love beretta... went to thier armorer course years ago....solid pistol man...every 5K rounds, (you should always keep and ammo log on your weapons)..., you can do a complete spring change A-Z for like 20 bucks...

    Toss the extra grips and the lock, and you have a place to stash a couple boxes of ammo. I like that case.

    I’m trying to decide between this or a Glock 19X. I’m going to see if I can shoot both somewhere. I have never owned a 9mm, but I own a Glock 22 and my EDC is a G20. I have smaller than average hands and now that I am no longer living in Alaska, I think 9mm will suffice.
    This is such a beautiful gun.

    That price tag, tho. Tombstone Tactical had it for sale for $999 when I went to buy my WASR-10. I just couldn't spring that much for it. The cheapest I've seen it online is $849 from Whittaker Guns. They now have it for $889.
