I'm an enthusiasts. I like many different guns and I love glocks. There is just something about them. I don't think they are ugly and I actually like the stock triggers.
You can tell . He just doesn't like Glock . Lol.. but truthfully. I've shot many 1911 firearms and every single one has failed me at least 1 or 2 times within 100 rounds only ... But Glock 19 x specifically... Lol ... I've put 2000 rounds through it and had no fails . Say what you want . It works .
Which at the end of the day, is the #1 priority. I've carried Glocks for 20+ years, for my profession, and they've never failed me. That's what I need and exactly what I'm looking for in a handgun. I've had numerous top shelf 1911's, but Glock is what I trust my life with because of its legendary reliability, simplicity, familiarity, and I just know that it's going to go bang when I need it to.
This seems like it was written and directed by someone who doesn't like Glock and perhaps doesn't even know much about them. To say they are overpriced? It's the most reliable gun ever made. There is value to that reputation and undisputed reliability. And besides, how do you have any authority to say how much it should sell for? Also, why would a gun enthusiast not want a Glock? You never explained this put-down you made. But you did say "if you just want a gun that goes off every time and will save your life and can be used in self-defense and do what it says on the box" get a Glock. Ah..what other reason is there to get a gun? Show off on TH-cam? Impress your range buddies? Rap video? Also, shorter barrels let you sit down without the barrel poking your junk. You seemed confused by this. You want to talk about loose tolerances? Look at Shadow Systems. You can put a nickel in the gap between the frame and slide on those pieces. You seem to think that a gun needs to be more "flavored hummas" than "unflavored hummas", in other words, a gun is better the more flashier it is..come on. That makes no sense. I suspect you only like 1911s from Turkey.
@@TheJimminiShowright but since you made a video you do care so that was bs. You can “not care” and still avoid nonsensical statements. The two aren’t mutually exclusive. 😂
The main thing I dislike about the 19X is that stupid front lip that won't accept gen 5 baseplates. You have to either dremel that part off or only use 19X, or gen 3/4 Glock 17 magazines. Nerfing your ability to utilize all those gen 5 Glock 17 magazines is absolutely stupid.
So, you can do what i did and simply replace any gen 5 glock mag base plates with gen 4 or lesser base plates. Bingo! Problem solved. All 9mm Glock factory G17 mags fit that are not gen 5
@@Glock_Doc it's the point that you shouldn't have to. I already have dozens of gen 5 baseplates. It's not like I want to add to them and buy a bunch of gen 4s.
If you are the kind of guy who only shoots a few thousands rounds from a gun you'll never understand why glocks are the best. People who shoot tens to hundreds of thousands of rounds from a single gun understand why glocks are worth what their worth. I've got a gen 2 22 pushing 70,000 rounds. All thats been replaced is the RSA and the slide release spring.
I have nearly 200 guns. And even if I didn't, I still would not choose Glock. I said right in the video if you are only going to buy one, buy a Glock. I get it, I'm just not one of the people that gets swayed by any one brand.
at that point buy ur self an mr920p and save you some money, doesnt really make sense to buy a $550-750 glock and a 400$ barrel and comp when the mr920p is 900$ that comes factory tunned, better grip, MOS , metal sights, better slide cuts.
My local gun store got me out the door for under $600. Its trigger is amazing and shoots flat for me. Mever held another gun which fit my large hands so welll
Glock 19x is my first glock i owned. Absolutely love it. It was between that and the sig m18. I love all gun brands because all different brands have different features and feel. Im no fanboy of one particular gun company but you got to admit glocks simplicity and reliability is why you spend the money for one. Would i buy another? Yes most likely the 30sf or glock 23.
My first glock as of last week. Havent shot it yet, but i love the look of it. I know im in the minority, but ive always liked the look of glocks. And while i do like 1911s, nothing will ever beat the look and feel of the beretta m9 for me lol. To each their own! Still enjoy owning all types of guns though.
the gap between frame & slide probably has to do with flex of the polymer. Gen 1&2 Glocks were single pin locking blocks, gen 3&4 have 2, gen 5 went back to 1.
It’s a difficult thing to improve on perfection. I’ve had a Gen 3 for a long time and made the common improvements to it. The 19X has few cool things that improve on the Gen 3 and is almost finished out of the box. (Could use that official Glock precision trigger.) but yeah, if you are on your 4th glock, think it over.
You assign only one reason to something. That is a fundamental lack of understanding or even the willingness to try. Firearms are mechanical wonders. They take engineering skill, metallurgy, precision craftsmanship. Glocks don't innovate. They use browning designs and never mention it. They are the Toyota prius of guns. So no, I dislike ANY company that sits on their butt and calls it perfection yet has 50 "patents" for different models that are all identical. IF you want to settle for overpriced mediocrity, fine. But you talk from a valley of ignorance and wrong
@@TheJimminiShowhe really doesn’t. If they consider something perfect, not innovating means they’re bei bf consistent. You seem to be ignorant of that basic fact.
@@notagunchannel Yep. I own 4 extended mags, all are factory mags with the extension and every one has 19 rounds. Now you can buy base plates that dont give you extra capacity, but those are all aftermarket and not factory glock.
Outrun it to the store to be traded in on an actually interesting gun? Yeah. Outrun then to the back of the safe? Sure. These things are so junk that I buy them for 30cents on the dollar and trade them in so rubes like you will pay for my gun collection. Thanks by the way
Bought one for EDC. I won't buy another one; too plain. Now I'm only interested in buying 'cool' guns. Next on my list is an Italian manufactured Beretta 92fs in stainless Inox. Man, what a sexy gun.

Tbf there’s not reason to ever need a gun last that long. One of “those guys” aka people who shoot more than most gun owners anyway, knows this.
A Glock will never NOT make sense. Logic dictates that if Glock is the gun to get if you can only have one then more of that gun only be a good thing.
G19X or G45 are super nice for Glocks. Throw Radian Ramjet + Afterburner micro compensator make it super flat shooting

That basepad does give the magazine 2 more rounds. Those are 19 round mags.
If you put that base pad on a regular 17 round magazine it gives it two more rounds.. so you are wrong sir
