Besides that since I was kidnapped by the freeway killer in 1975 . He killed 21 kids and I was at his execution. I never one time was offered any help.
It was probably the shock of realism that had him scared, the sparks caught his attention but as he loosened his grip he heard the desperate gasp of air, he realized what he was doing and how severe it was (something the guy hadn't focused on before, since his adrenaline kept him going). It wasn't because he felt like letting her live, but if not he felt something bad would happen if he kept on doing it, the guy just got paranoid mid way because he felt something interfered, and he ran.

There a THREE victims who survived an encounter with Jeffrey Dahmer. The last one, Tracy Edwards (a man), actually helped to get him arrested. I was shocked that Dahmer was nowhere on this list!
How could you not have Tracy Edwards on this list? Not only did he narrowly escape being Jeffrey Dahmer’s dinner and play thing, he was THE reason for his capture. 😱
Yea, the young woman who testified against him earlier in his killing career & was intimidated by the court to place doubt upon her identification of Bundy, resulting in a lesser sentence & well, we all know the rest.
I do not know if you watched the Ted Bundy documentary on Netflix, but there was another victim that survived Ted Bundy, I was expecting her to be in this list instead of the two mentioned in here.
Back then people would offer or accept a lift from strangers and accepting a lift is what made so many serial killers. Either the hitchhiker or the driver could be dangerous. These days the danger isn't as bad because it's common sense not to give or accept a ride from a stranger
Actually that girl who survived ted bundy didn't tell anyone after she couldve saved many girls.... So don't go thanking that.... She didn't tell because she didn't wanna be called a slut... So... Nope she is not.
There was another potential victim of Gacy, Anthony Antonucci, who actually wrestled the handcuffs off of himself and onto Gacy, to which Gacy replied: "Not only are you the only one who got out of the cuffs; you got them on me."
I remember hearing a story of a boy whose parents told him when they first started dating they went for a walk in the woods, the woman stepped in something squishy, she was scared so they left. Years later Ted Bundy said he was almost caught once in the mountains when a couple walked right into his victims body. Scariest story I've ever heard. 😬😬😬😬😬
Mary Vincent survived after being felt to die of blood loss after her attacker severed her arms. She walked the night naked looking for someone to help but was ignored by couple after seeing her in what looked like ‘a scene coming out of a horror movie’. She was later picked up by an old couple and taken to the hospital by helicopter. She’s now married and is an artist.
I dont think so. I dont think the victims' loved ones mind that those names arent perpetually repeated and associated with death and serial killings. It's not necessary that we remember them for that, especially since it would be the only reason we know their names. Its good that their memories are almost entirely owned by their friends and family. The serial killers should be condemned forever and always.
I was thinking the same thing but they probably didn't because the guy was charged with a homicide years later and he was a wanted felon during the time he escaped and got Dahmer arrested
Everyone’s different when we talk about emotional ways of coping with something, as long as the narrator didn’t pressure them and they volunteered, of course, then that probably means they knew they would feel much better after sharing their story with others
Bundy actually had 3 victims survive. The first one was in Utah. He got a woman in his car under false pretenses and she was able to get away from. She was the reason he got caught in the first place. The sad and disturbing part is that he escape twice due to incredible negligence on the part of the police who had him in custody (the first time he escaped through a 2nd story building because he was left unshackled and on his own). His second escape lead to his rampage at the sorority and also killing a 12 year old girl. I watched the Bundy Tapes and it's pretty disgusting that not only did they take extra precautions in holding Bundy but they just treated him like some minor criminal instead of someone who had brutally raped and murdered numerous women. There's a clip from the court room during his first trial after he's convicted when the judge laments how he thought Bundy really wasted his life and could have been a great attorney. It's profoundly disgusting.
Holly Dunn's story just made me nauseous the first time I heard it. She saw her boyfriend brutally murdered and he just kept assaulting her. She's such a strong and inspiring woman.
@@rachelhernando4648 That's true and it's so awful. The police just didn't give a crap that some young gay man was being hurt or in trouble. They even smelled the odor coming from his apartment. But there was another survivor and I believe that's how they finally caught him.

The girl who escaped the toy box killer David Parker Ray should have been number one and she wasn't even on this list. She survived 3 days of torture in his torture den before fighting his girlfriend to escape. Ran down the road naked except a dog collar and chain. He was one of the worst serial killers who has ever lived. Rodney Alcala was definitely horrific too. It's not just that a serial killer was on that game show but such a brutally sadistic one with a suspected kill count of over 100.
Someone shared on Reddit her parents encountered Bundy when they were still dating. They only knew it was him when they watched Bundy's interview on TV one day, and he said he almost got caught one day in the forest when he tried to dump a body. The mother suddenly just had this strange feeling, telling her future husband they better leave (they were just chatting in the car after meeting at some party). The mother said they felt this strange bulge on the road OTW out of the forest. Bundy said that was the only moment he ever felt scared after commiting murder. The parent watched the whole interview like 👁👄👁
Cynthia Vigil who escaped captivity by David Parker Ray, aka The Toy Box killer , and his accomplice Cindy Hindy should have made this list as well as Tracy Edwards who escaped Dahmer.
It’s so unfortunate that these poor victims are know for being the victims who were lucky enough to survive. I can’t begin to imagine both the mental , physical pain, & Trauma these people had to go through because of these horrendous monsters
In recent years, I've become very close with a daughter of one of Robert Hansen's victims. Words cannot express the amount of harm these sickos cause to loved ones of those whose lives they so cruelly take.
I remember seeing and hearing about this guy who escaped a car of a well known serial killer and he was supposed to be the first victim but he got away. He didnt report it to the police because it was like the 70’s or 80’s and the serial killer didnt really do anything that crazy to him yet. He did or said something to make him realize he was about to get murdered so thats why he jumped out of the car but later on he ended up seeing an interview with the serial killer and the killer talked about how he pick up this one kid who got away who was going to be his first victim and thats when the killer learned to like take the door locks off the passenger door and make it hard for someone to escape his car again. So when the victim say the interview he realized he was talking about him. I wish I could remember who the killer was but it was a well known killer for sure
I had a classmate who served in the Army with Jeffrey Dahmer. She said she trusted him with her life but when she saw him later on on the news after his arrest she was shocked.
Honorable mentions...Elizabeth Smart, Carol Daronch, Ann Sluti, the 3 girls from Ohio that survived 10 years with Ariel Castro....the woman that survived Bobby Long
How about the women who survived Samuel Little (who is alleged the most prolific serial killer in American history, took over 1st place as the most prolific serial killer after the Green river killer.)
Something caused my next door neighbor to wake up. She looked out her bedroom door and saw her purse dumped out on the floor. She got up and tried to turn on the light, but it didn’t work. She picked up the phone but there was no dial tone. Then she saw a man walking along the side of the house. She screamed as loud as she could “HELP! THERE’S A MAN IN MY HOUSE! HELP! HELP!” Her window was right next to my bedroom window. I was up and out of the door with the dogs. The guy across the street was out at the same time, with a rifle. Others ran outside so the guy ran away. Six months later, after he had been apprehended, we got a phone call from the police saying that the man had been Richard Ramirez. We freaked out. The police said that he had been watching our houses and my roommate and I didn’t get picked because we had dogs. SHIT.
I am so glad that you mentioned Carl Stottor. Neilson DID kill him - eventually. It just took him over thirty years to die. Carl became severely alcohol dependant, and I believe he died of cirrhosis of the liver in 2013. All brought about through his ordeal. RIP, Carl.
I’m surprised they didn’t mention Catharine Lorre, the famous actor Peter Lorre’s daughter. She was picked up by the Hillside stranglers and they let her go after finding out who her father was. Apparently they were fans.

Man...if y'all do this kind of video again you need to add Cynthia Vigil Jaramillo. While all the women who escaped or survived these situations are heros in my book, this woman brought down one of the most disgusting, horrifying, couples in American history. She brought down David Parker Ray and Cindy Hendy (look up Toy Box Killer)
Karen Chandler and Kathy Kleiner were just two that survived Ted Bundy. Rhonda Stapley got away and wrote a book about her experience. Then another woman was attacked and severely injured in her room, but Ted was interrupted and ran away before he could kill her. This was shortly before he attacked his first known victim Lynda Healy. Then Carol DaRonch escaped from him which eventually led to his downfall. Then Karen and Kathy, and then finally Cheryl Thomas was attacked on the same night as the sorority house. If her roommates hadn’t interrupted him, she would’ve been killed by him. Numerous other women were approached by him, but something about him made these women refuse him, which definitely saved their lives. RIP to all of the unfortunate ones

Watch Natural Born Killers. It's a good critique of making killers famous, romanticizing/idolizing them.
And here we are, but I agree, we should remember more the victims than the murders, and we should remember them for more than been the victims, these survivers should be considered heroes in pop culture, and we should forget the names of the murder, call them shit sacks instead or something like that.
I find it kinda strange how you’re rating people who survived serial killers
It’s not a rating.
It’s a list.
I find it strange you’re watching it.
@@ryansmith4494 it’s still a strange list to be making
Raspberry frog content farms will choose any subject just for money.
@@ryansmith4494 i respect your opinion but I think this is a ranking in my opinion because the creator has numbered them 1-10, supposedly leaving the 'best' one until last. I could be wrong, idk, but the numbering makes it feel like less of a list and more of a ranking.
@@katiestanhope5289 it's a list.
My aunt lived just two houses down from one of families Richard Rameriez murdered. God these monsters are demons in disguise.
My mom lived in the area in California where he killed people. She remembers it like it was yesterday.
Really interesting topic pick today ... I like it
The girl who escaped the toy box killer David Parker Ray should have been number one and she wasn't even on this list.
The parent watched the whole
interview like 👁👄👁
Cynthia Vigil who escaped captivity by David Parker Ray, aka The Toy Box killer , and his accomplice Cindy Hindy should have made this list as well as Tracy Edwards who escaped Dahmer.
Watch mojo : .....famous serial killers
Me: idek half of the list
It’s so unfortunate that these poor victims are know for being the victims who were lucky enough to survive. I can’t begin to imagine both the mental , physical pain, & Trauma these people had to go through because of these horrendous monsters
How about that one guy who survived Jeffrey Dahmer ?
In recent years, I've become very close with a daughter of one of Robert Hansen's victims. Words cannot express the amount of harm these sickos cause to loved ones of those whose lives they so cruelly take.
He was one of the worst I've heard about. So awful
I wish I could remember who the killer was but it was a well known killer for sure
btk i think
I feel like that lady who survived the toybox killer should be on here! That's a seriously crazy story
It's one of the only serial killer stories I wish I had never learned about. It's unfathomable
You forgot the guy who escaped jeffrey dahmer, he would have been his last victim if he didn’t escape
Somehow I doubt that
@@bluefoxthecutest2628 100% sure, his name is travy edwards if you google his name. He even testified against him at his trial
***Tracy
Number 11 kevin Mcalluster survives Harry and Marv
😂
Actually the other way around
@@Madcrafter13Gaming yeah lol
They weren't serial killers. 🤣
Wow! They're lucky to be alive. I wish them the best.
I had a classmate who served in the Army with Jeffrey Dahmer. She said she trusted him with her life but when she saw him later on on the news after his arrest she was shocked.
Tracy Edward's should be on every list about this topic
Honorable mentions...Elizabeth Smart, Carol Daronch, Ann Sluti, the 3 girls from Ohio that survived 10 years with Ariel Castro....the woman that survived Bobby Long
The zodiac killer is pretty well known...
What bout the guy who survived Jeffrey Dahmer? The one he told "im gonna eat ur heart "
How about the women who survived Samuel Little (who is alleged the most prolific serial killer in American history, took over 1st place as the most prolific serial killer after the Green river killer.)
What's her name?
Caylee Phillips (Survived Beverley Allitt)
Caroline Roberts (Survived The Wests)
SHIT.
good doggie
Rodney Alcala won on The Dating Game but Cheryl, the bachelorette, wouldn’t go out with him because she was creeped out.
Smart girl.
The introduction to this list made me laugh...
*as long as they have killed multiple people* they fit the bill
😂😂
.......I don't see the humor
As a woman, to be able to survive Rodney Acala or Ted Bundy...is a miracle. Definitely super women in my eyes.
Imagine surviving a serial killer and not making the top 10 list 😭
I got chills when Bruce Mcaruther came up knowing that happened in the very place I live
These poor people . I can't even imagine the trauma and stress they go through daily .
How about Carl Stottor who survived Scottish serial killer Dennis Nilsen’s attack?
There's a lot of survivors these are the most infamous
@Billy Thekid damn 😳
I am so glad that you mentioned Carl Stottor. Neilson DID kill him - eventually. It just took him over thirty years to die. Carl became severely alcohol dependant, and I believe he died of cirrhosis of the liver in 2013. All brought about through his ordeal. RIP, Carl.
Major praise to the survivors who not only avoided the serial killers, but also got them caught
I’m surprised they didn’t mention Catharine Lorre, the famous actor Peter Lorre’s daughter. She was picked up by the Hillside stranglers and they let her go after finding out who her father was. Apparently they were fans.
I think there should be a top 20 who survived serial killer! Like Tracey Edwards from Dalmer is an example
tracy edwards(dahmer), jeffrey rignall(gacy) and kathleen vine(rhoades) are also honorable mentions i think!
You always keep us entertained. Thank you Watch Mojo..
That Ramirez guy is in the intro to criminal minds every single season
He has the same name as my dad 🥲
This is actually a list of MVPs and superstars I salute you all
This is one of those videos that everyone on this list who survived is #1
Top 10 Black Power Rangers
10: Adam Park
9: Corcus
8: Dillon
7: Danny Delgado
6: Carlos Vallerte
5: Will Aston
4: Jake Holling
3: Chase Randall
2: Tommy Oliver
Honorable Mentions: Anubis Cruger
, Jungle Fury Bat Ranger
1: Zachary "Zack" Taylor
Man...if y'all do this kind of video again you need to add Cynthia Vigil Jaramillo. While all the women who escaped or survived these situations are heros in my book, this woman brought down one of the most disgusting, horrifying, couples in American history. She brought down David Parker Ray and Cindy Hendy (look up Toy Box Killer)
Great 📹 and I enjoyed it and have a blessed day
“Have his way with her for 5 hours” just say it
Karen Chandler and Kathy Kleiner were just two that survived Ted Bundy.
I hope they have been able to heal after all of this.
