Coming along nicely Mike!!! I'd weld a thicker strengthener plate on the left of the pedal box just like VW and Porsche would have done to spread the load of the pedals being used. The motion of the pedals is likely to fatigue the thin sheet steel of the floor.
Great episode, I'll be rewatching ive been tinkering with some pedal box design ideas to make, except I'll be retaining the 901 cable clutch. I need to install the clutch cable and throttle cable then stare at that and then create lol (68 912 w/ej205T and 901)
monumental episode, great progress, all your touch surfaces, pedals and seats, it's like a real car. The thing about the AN lines, I'm glad you eliminated the extra fittings at the bulkhead, but those are never under pressure, just gravity fed. And, those seats, very sweet. I bought some cheap, generic slip on covers so I wouldn't get mine filthy when rennching. I just wish my mechanic in Socal would stop putting greasy wrenches on my uncovered passenger seat.
It's so funny, because the douche canoe below you was just asking "when will this be done… He never finishes anything ". If only my tiny TH-cam channel was my full-time job, lol
I must have missed that. I was looking at Wilwood pedals, floor mounted as I was watching this weeks episode as I would like these for my 356 restomod.
Scheel Mann has a ton of different customization options so I'm sure they have a seat that will be perfect for you. If I had had more time I would've done leather.
@@rennch.I love the fabrication aspect of any build. I've swapped my subaru, K5 Blazer, S-10...an old porsche is on my bucket list. You do nice work..very inspiring! Thanks for the kind words!
I would buttonhole (on a sewing machine) or put brass grommets into the carpet where you punched the holes. Not that the carpet is likely to wear, but just for neatness' and completeness' sake.
Hey Mike at 3.53 when you are assembling the seat, on the box it says “Passenger side”, when you place it in the car the adjustment knobs are in the centre of the car, most seat controls seem to be fitted facing the outside ie the respective door…… not sure if it’s an issue or oversight 🤷🏼
Curious as to the issues w/the Canon. Hopefully it's not set to record in Log or the SD card is too slow for 4k. But the iPhone has worked for Goonzquad so whatever works!

On the next episode of Rennch Michael introduces Porsche owners to Yoga for Porsche repair. Need to get yourself under the dash, into spots in the engine compartment? You need Yoga for Porsche Repair and Maintenance lead by Michael. Limber up boys and girls - the Yoga classes are cheaper than a shop hourly rate.
Brother, if you want to send me the money to finance the rest of this build, and give me a little bit more time to work on it I will gladly allow you to sponsor.
I love the washing machine welding table !
Nothing but top-tier fabrication here.
I like the tartan pattern looks cool on the seat
Keep going, we are all looking forward to watching her drift a parking lot!!
You and me both Scott!
✋ Been mocking up my pedals as well for the 356
the upholstery on your seats is flipping wicked mate! regards from mike in catalunya, as always!
I think if I had fully customized it I would've chosen something very similar.

Well, it's bolted to a 1/8 inch steel plate so I feel like that will do a good load spread.
Video quallity is perfect for this IMO👍

Cool work bench washing machine ... looks fantastic with the AN lines.
Any port in the storm!
Keep up this project, I like to see some improvements
Looking good mate. Love the stainless reservoirs.
Thanks buddy. If I had you here for a week I would be driving this thing!

Thanks buddy. Going to miss you on the Targa this year.
Ben! Always appreciate seeing the Boss walk through the video to check on Michael's progress.
He's such a scaredy dog he freaks out with any loud noises, or big boxes. :-)
Keep it up man, every step of the way! Custom work takes time, so you can charge Custom prices 🤣🤣🤣

Well done. Seats are perfect.
Almost there!
Looking great
Just found this video....huge subaru fan AND porsche fan....Looks like I've got some catching up to do!!! Awesome video man!! Just Subbed!!
Greg, great to have you on board buddy. If you like fabrication, start at the beginning when I had barely a car chassis to start with.

Great Job 👏
I'm going to miss that spot from your camera...
lol. me too! We held a vigil for it last night.
Getting closer!
Baby steps.

Just a bit of movie magic there. The
seat you see in the car is the driver side, and I never brought the passenger side in.
Sweet!
Looking good, love the pedals!
Yeah, they are going to be awesome, fully installed.
Looks good.
Good luck with the implants. Mine rejected it. Had to go again. Sucks
brilliant episode once again!
Thank you!
What turbos are you having there ?
Think the nuts for the fittings just got missed. The Racetronix ones come with them.
I'm sure it was an oversight. Or maybe they disappeared into a tiny bag somewhere… I don't know.
is there a link or code I should use so if I buy scheelman seats they know it was because of or due to your channel?
A fair question… I don't have anything set up but if there's a place to put a note or included in some sort of message that would be awesome.
That impression will probably sound better than the actual engine 😂
Yeah you should listen to the video of the engine firing up. It's amazing.
Rode has a nice wireless mic setup.
They do and they actually sponsor my podcast but this one had better reviews so I went with it

It's six years old, really beat up and full of welding slag. And it just doesn't have the crisp lenses that a brand new smartphone has.
who makes the reservoirs you are using
Wilwood. I think I talked about them a couple of videos ago.
Is IRO or IURO parts???
URO
URO parts link to that rail part? i cannot find it

When will we see this car roll under power on the street? He never finishes anything

Captive nuts. Yeah... I remember being married.
Sorry. Someone had to.
