I'm 4 minutes in and already, I bag a Praxis as a throwing putter, and my putting putter is a Wizard that I bought when Gateway first released them. I've been putting with it ever since twenty some years. It's perfect now and I can't quit it m
"Berg Magic" is a phrase used often during rounds with my friends. It's a cheat code. Also, Jarn is more stable than zone but not stupid like zone OS. Jarn is my new favorite approach disc.
As a new player, the berg was a disc that really clicked with me and upped my approach game massively. It doesn’t have to be in the top 5 but I don’t think it’s a good look when people hate on it. It’s become a popular/funny thing to hate on in disc golf (especially if you’ve never really tried it). It’s like the Nickelback of disc golf. You may not enjoy it but it could really be a great option in someone else’s hands. Just something to consider, great video other than that 😂 keep up the good work fellas.
The best approach discs for my game is the A2/A3 from prodigy. I’ve made more throw in birdies with the A3 than any other disc in my bag. I’d also recommend a star aviar for beginners. Honorable mentions: envy, glitch, A5, slammer, and razor claw 3.
One of my absolute favorite approach discs currently is the MVP Watt. Not sure what it is, but I love the hand feel and clean release I get from this putter. Point-and-shoot, will hold any angle you put it on. Really hope that MVP makes them in baseline plastic, because I'll likely switch to them for my putting putters as well.
That lay down putt was awesome! Jester Discs will be releasing Wild Thing soon, and it’s a stable workhorse scramble disc. Check your favorite retailer.
Innova Pig, Innova Rat, and DD Harp are my favs 1 speed MVP Glitch, Innova Polecat, DISCMANIA SPORE, and Infinite Disc Glyph Innova Pig is made in Pro, Soft Pro, and Halo Nexus. Nexus is the most durable of the plastics
Aside from the Proxy, are there other Understable approach discs you'd recommend, or are we stuck going to a Paradox or other understable mid and powering down?
I'd recommend trying an innova mirage, it's the slot less stable than the proxy for me. They're tough to find in stores near me but they've usually got some f2 ones online
@stephenbrogan2002 I've actually got one. Canadian Tire carries them in what looks like DX plastic, and now you mention it, the thing is super flippy. I did a comparison on my channel between my whole bag and the cheap discs from CNadian Tire. A Valkyrie, Mirage and a Wombat3. Maybe I'll see if I can get one in Star or Champion plastic.
I know everyone "approaches" with putters but I was hoping to see all non-putters on this list. Just kind of a cop out IMO. I mean you could just stick 10 putters on this list I suppose....
One thing Thought Space should be known for is their terrible customer service. Not responding to emails and blatantly ignoring people who spent $ on them when they first started. I’m sure they will do just fine, and are, but I’ll never support them again
The Dynamic Discs Justice is crazy overstable, moreso than a Zone OS, but has been a HUGE benefit in my bag as an approach disc. Even though the Latitude 64 Keystone is a "putter," it's also lived in my bag for straight approaches up to 100'.

Why do people hate the berg so much? Genuinely interested in actual reasons, all I see is its a waste,...how?
Ricky Moonshine Harp ❤
Some very unique discs on this list. I really enjoy you guys giving love to all of these different companies and advertising them. Well done all!
Really expected either the Prodigy A5 or A2 on here. A5 is so good for a straight to overstable approach when brand new
9:27 that was awesome, I didnt think that was possible lol

great to see some Trash Panda love 🙌. They rarely seem to get mentioned in lists like this but they deserve it. Love my inner core
my best zone is the adam hammes tour series, I highly recommend that blend. its so good for forehands and touch shots. the plastic is great
The Pig has been the best addition to my bag since day 1 of use. So thankful Wysocki “introduced me” to them when he was with Innova.
base plastic inner core is a swanky-tier understable throwing putter
Jarn in K1 soft is a pretty great overstable approach that tend to stick to where it lands. Love it.

Playing mostly very technical and hard courses I bag a variety of approach discs. Berg, Glitch, Popcorn, Mint, Razor Claw 3.
Been loving the Tempo from MVP/Axiom as of late, definitely something you need to throw. Oh, and dang Luke, you look like a whole new man!!
I bag a DD Justice and a Westside Anvil for overstable approaches, and have a Prodigy A2 as backup.
Awesome Braves shirt!
Keystone, Harp and Floppy Nimbus. Just ordered an inner core.

I love Clash Discs. They definitely have some of the best plastic on the market.
roach, envy, anvil is my lineup. Gives me all my flights and its best to have as few approach discs so you can get to know them really well
Pig berg envy also played yahoola creek a few months back..😊
Good list ....but I would now also add the P3x from discmania and the Axiom Tempo
I love the panther very strait disc
Artemis is one people should try. Shallow Zone type, cross between an Envy and a Zone out of the box. Absolutely money.
This feels like a top throwing putter list vs approach disc list. Anywho, have a great day!
Put the harps back in. Burst and moonshine. Peppermint looks 👌
I like using my glow pilot for an approach disc
Glitch, BEOrg, Area 51, and Razor Claw 3 is the set to cover all bases. Add a throwing putter like an Envy or Alpaca and you’re golden.
Sockibomb slammer has been my favorite from day 1
its crazy how approach isnt a major type of disc type considering its one of the most important ideas.
when talking about #2, i prefer the hand feel of a VIP Harp
Innova Pig, Innova Rat, and DD Harp are my favs
1 speed MVP Glitch, Innova Polecat, DISCMANIA SPORE, and Infinite Disc Glyph
Innova Pig is made in Pro, Soft Pro, and Halo Nexus. Nexus is the most durable of the plastics

If you want really flippy, I recommend the Latitude64 Ruby, and for more straight the Pure.
I would really recommend a prodigy pa-5 in premium plastic, its a money disc for that understable throwing putter!
When do you give away the 1-star discs? How do you announce it?
YESSSSIRRRR!!!
wow you look great looks like youve been working out
no harp is a sin
Did not expect to see my pride and joy, the proxy, on the list. Was about to comment it, flick it if you're brave!
Prodigy distortion!
I know everyone "approaches" with putters but I was hoping to see all non-putters on this list. Just kind of a cop out IMO. I mean you could just stick 10 putters on this list I suppose....
Not even a mention of the A2? Been running an A2/A5 combo and my approach game has never felt better.
One thing Thought Space should be known for is their terrible customer service. Not responding to emails and blatantly ignoring people who spent $ on them when they first started. I’m sure they will do just fine, and are, but I’ll never support them again
Järn gang
Idk watt yall were thinking not including the watt
Why would melted recycled plastic not feel good?
fusion proxy is the way. lazer beam
The snub of the harp… what world are we living in???
I’ve never heard the word “unique” misused so many times. Unique means “one of a kind”, so nothing can be “really”, “very”, or “most” unique.
Electron Entropy

OMG! Another putter!?! WTF?
Robbie make sure you watch to the end, ok?
