Definitely agree on the polecat it's useless, on the contrary I love the berg that guy doesn't know what he's talking about 😅😂 jk, great video good fun!
Wild, the peppermint is much deeper than a zone. I don’t think I’ve ever heard someone say the zone is too deep. Also both the ringer and banger zones are pdga approved.
lol Berg is actually my favorite! It fits so nicely in my big hands and I'm finding that its one of the first discs that I can make go where I want. 🤣🤣🤣
There are sooo many different plastics and variations it's hard to just say buzzz. Maybe the 2021-2023 ledgestone buzzz z runs. They were really overstable.
Yeah I definitely feels like it depends on the plastic. I have a Paige Pierce tour series buzz that feels lovely and is just a tick more stable. My esp stock buzz never seems to live up to the hype.
@ComatoseRat I totally understand that. Some bad z molds I own have the raised lettering overmold and it felt like I could slice my finger if not thinking. That's pretty poor quality that i understand all too well. Recently I've been getting a lot better product from them
Dude.. the Innova Dragon. It was so frustrating, because it actually flew very well, but *SOMEHOW* every time it hit the ground it would stand up and roll impossibly far from the basket and tuck itself into a bush or behind a tree. That disc was defying physics in attempt to ruin my round, but again it flew very well. Well enough that a few times a round I would be willing to put my faith in it, and the Dragon would burn me every time.
12:31 My glow Golem broke too 😭 but it was my fault. I was chucking close-range forehands at the cage for it to sneak through and on the third time it tore through the rim.
Let’s all make an agreement moving forwards on 2 things. 1) Luke hates the berg. 2) Luke would marry the buzzz if he could. We all know it. Now we don’t have to hear it on any rankings video anymore forever. Every time a favorite or least favorite ranking is made these two discs are on it, and it just wastes a space. Tell me about something else, maybe another disc you like or don’t like. Every other video talked about the berg or the buzzz. We all know what they do. We all have nothing to learn about them.
I’ve been putting with AB’s CT Jawbreaker Focus for over a year now. Recently got a pair of backups and after barely over a round, one of those new backups cracked. Couldn’t believe it. Luckily I still have more of them. Hope it doesn’t happen again.
You should do a top 5 discs that grew on you as you threw it, like you didn't like it at first but after throwing it a little bit you started to like it. One example from me would be the finish line supra
I bought a couple Passions when they first dropped. I threw them each once in the field and that was it. The worst feeling disc I’ve ever held and it’s not particularly close.
Not the bohrium hate lol. It was weird for a while at first to get used to because it felt like it would slip out but it's been my longest forehand flyer for 3 or 4 of my personal bests. It comes out so fast.
My top 5: 1. Harp - too deep and very awkward to forehand. 2. Any disc faster than a mid that has a bead. 3. Octane - borderline unthrowable. It's wide, it's sharp and arguably the most uncomfortable driver I've ever held. 4. Full throw, throwing putters in general - I can't figure out how to hold them. 5. Nova - Who can actaully throw this disc well other than Paul McBeth 10 years ago?
The buzz and comet are my least favorite discs of all time. The pixel WAS up there. I bought a few. HATED HATED HATED THEM. And then i started putting with an anode again. And then a few months later i figured id try the pixel ONE MORE TIME and fell in love. I t was like you have to have a transition disc to it. It was weird. But i fully understand that intitial sentiment!
We could do that but we don’t want people getting discs they don’t like in their players packs. Usually we let them pick from our inventory or give them store credit. This would be the easiest way to get rid of them for sure though.
When it comes to feel of a disc it probably comes down to your total hand size. I have smaller than average hands and lid discs such as the pole cat or glitch does not feel it feel great but I can still throw them and get intended flight. If you don’t like the feel of a Polecat or other lid discs try a Watt from MVP.
1. Roc3, flew nowhere near what the numbers suggest. 2. Emac Truth, always turns over on me. 3. Glitch, too soft gets warped in my bag everytime. 4. There is a prodigy disc I have, the mold isn't the issue but the plastic which I think is 400 or 500 got this weird chalky film on it when I washed it one time. No other disc has ever done that. 5. I dont have a 5
Answer to nr 4: The chalky stuff gets reduced a lot if you oil it just a bit, it is a lack of a certain oil that makes the disc slowly disintigate from what I have gathered.
If you think the buzzz is bad then stay away from the Wasp. Imagine a buzzz with less glide, less distance, turns just as much as a buzzz but fades harder overall making it less straight.
Mikey nailed it. Buzzz was my favorite disc for a while and now I can’t stand it. Hand feel is a part of disc golf that I love and the buzzz feels terrible in comparison to other mids with similar or better flights
I do agree with the Buzz. I’m A Discraft guy. I throw the Wasp the most. Focus is my putting putter. And yes I use the Jawbreaker plastic. Change them out every 6 to 12 months.
I don't like Innova's Firebird and Sidewinder, even when I used to bag each of them many years ago. They just never really worked for me. Also, I hate the Innova Firefly, even though I throw and putt with Infinite Discs Alpaca which is supposed to be the same mold. Distance drivers from MVP/Axiom feel great in my small hands even the 14.5 speed discs.
The Buzzz is not what it used to be. The old PFN runs were more thin feeling and flew amazingly. The new ones are terrible feeling and don't have the same glide to me.
My 5 least favorite molds 1. Lat 64 racket (rocket? 15speed) 2. Clash over molded thing wild honey 3. Tilt . 4. Agree with MVP drivers... That over mold 🤮 5. Jawbreaker plastic as a whole .. jawbreaker ledgestone scorch was first experience killer stamp, color but sticking it in a ziplock bag it gets dents and dings
The Ranger hurts your hand? Why are you so soft? Now it isn't my favorite disc, as the Hex is just better..... but glad I don't have weak, soft, delicate baby hands.....! As for Prodigy, I've never picked up a bad A2, A3 or Pa3. Now the weird gumminess of 400 plastic from the past? Just weird.... floppy rubber discs are gross..... most can agree on that.....
Yeah I cant stand the Buzzz. It is so big in my hand. I found an Armadillo and actually like it better than the Berg. As for MVP drivers, I agreed to a point. I like the 11 speeds and 14.5 speeds. Something about the 12 and 13 just don't sit right. The Time Lapse is the worse offender. I really wanted to like it.
Titanium buzzzz is incredible all the haters need to zip it!!!! Ahahahaha keep talking BERG smack too while I park every up shot with it 😂🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉 y'all just ain't good enough to BERG it thats the real truth!!!!!
What an absolutely awful video premise. Making fun of discs and companies you don't like. I lost a lot of respect for Swanky and Overthrow because of this video. Get off your high horse.
1) Anything Big Z, that plastic is attrocious 2) Agree on the overmold drivers 3) Scorch, the convex underpart of the wing just makes this impossible to get consistent good release for my small hands 4) Method (see also Malta), never seen a single person bag one, just not a useful slot 5) The Prince, just cause that ad voice is so terrible
I am not a Innova person at all. Since I started playing here where I live about 10 years ago. All we had here was either Innova are Discraft. Roadrunner was about the only disc I liked. 😂
It's weird how I hated most innova the first few years I played... 9 years later more than half my bag is innova and the Banshee is my favorite disc of all time. Weird
They should change their name to Overstock Disc Golf, since all my dude did is grouse about things that cost him money. Related/unrelated, 80% of disc golfers should never buy another disc; they already have too many and they can't actually throw most of them.
What disc rubs you the wrong way??
Definitely agree on the polecat it's useless, on the contrary I love the berg that guy doesn't know what he's talking about 😅😂 jk, great video good fun!
Anything in DX plastic 100% of the time!
Buzzz. So overrated in my opinion. Much rather have a Pathfinder in my hand.
Mikey at the beginning: “Hate is a strong word”
Mikey 2 minutes later: “I can’t even look at it”
Wild, the peppermint is much deeper than a zone. I don’t think I’ve ever heard someone say the zone is too deep. Also both the ringer and banger zones are pdga approved.
If a zone is too deep idk how he uses anything in that slot
lol Berg is actually my favorite! It fits so nicely in my big hands and I'm finding that its one of the first discs that I can make go where I want. 🤣🤣🤣
Good call on the Buzzz. It feels chunky and dead in the air to me.
@@ExploreMore704 me personally i just dont like discraft plastic, and detest the embossing inside the rim. Therefore, buzzz in general.
@curtisridenour I been liking the 2024 tour series Dickerson jawbreaker blend. They throw semi beat in off the 1st rip.
@ComatoseRat I totally understand that. Some bad z molds I own have the raised lettering overmold and it felt like I could slice my finger if not thinking. That's pretty poor quality that i understand all too well. Recently I've been getting a lot better product from them
It's amazing how much love you guys show to the Berg.
it really is lol

Damn, All my distance drivers are MVP and I do bag the Berg X
If he doesn't like the Octane or the Wave... he's just lost with delicate baby hands. It is ok. Silly people are allowed to live and even disc golf.
The Pixel actually subtracted 3-5 strokes putting. I was using a P2 f3 prior.. went from 7 of 10 with P2 to 9-10 of 10 on 20 footers.
What plastic do you use?
I don't like it close range but damn does it fly straight. I love it for tunnel shots and 100 foot jumpers that have no chance of going in
12:31 My glow Golem broke too 😭 but it was my fault. I was chucking close-range forehands at the cage for it to sneak through and on the third time it tore through the rim.

This
Glow berg is the perfect forehand upshot/chipshot disc

That would be the Envy for me!
polecat is the only thing that feels worse than the pig
Discraft - Fierce
Discmania - Shogun
Discmania - Tilt
Every 13 speed and above
Kastaplast- Berg
Zone is deep??
Yeah, I thought the thing people don't like about the zone is that it's usually too shallow
The Ringer Zone is amazing. Less glide and more stable than the regular Zone. It was PDGA approved in February btw.
I used it all during college nationals and use it in like every round. I use it almost everywhere between 250-300 feet
The fact that some of you said the Loft Borhium is too shallow made me curious about it since I like many shallow discs.
I have one of those Holy Shot Envies and it is a great disc for approaches. And you can find them for cheap, now. Cheaper than the stock run.
I owned that envy…. Lost it….. was devastated…. Got an eagle envy
I’m glad I’m not the only one that hates mvp drivers
My top 5:
1. Harp - too deep and very awkward to forehand.
2. Any disc faster than a mid that has a bead.
3. Octane - borderline unthrowable. It's wide, it's sharp and arguably the most uncomfortable driver I've ever held.

The rattler has got to be one of the worst discs to touch my hand.
Overthrow should host a one disc tournament with the Envy that covers the at cost price of the disc. Or just sale them on your site at cost.
We could do that but we don’t want people getting discs they don’t like in their players packs. Usually we let them pick from our inventory or give them store credit. This would be the easiest way to get rid of them for sure though.

Prodigy F Model US. If youve ever picked it up while searching for an understable fairway you will agree with me.
I still don’t think Luke hates the Berg. I think it started as a bit and he got too far in and is unwilling to admit that he actually digs it.
Mikey nailed it. Buzzz was my favorite disc for a while and now I can’t stand it. Hand feel is a part of disc golf that I love and the buzzz feels terrible in comparison to other mids with similar or better flights

The Polecat is basically a Blue Bell ice cream lid but I really like it
4 speeds! Many 4 speeds have a secondary lip that feels awkward and rubs my fingers more than other discs on forehand throws.
You make me want to get a Bohrium and some older Prodigy right away!!! xD My mindset at the moment is anti-hype. :P
The Berg-hate made me get my Berg, it flies "great" but not for my bag ;)
Hate the passion terrible feel in the hand
The Buzzz is not what it used to be. The old PFN runs were more thin feeling and flew amazingly. The new ones are terrible feeling and don't have the same glide to me.
I thought the wave isn’t bad
I love MVP distance drivers
I’m really wondering what MVP molds he’s held cause nothing he described sounded right lol
@@trevzy91 Same
The prodigy flashing era 100%, still have a callus on my pointer finger from my d3's.. haven't thrown or touched a prodigy disc since.
Kastaplast Göte. Feels like a bloated mid-range. I hate the dome and overall run feel of it.

1. Lat 64 racket (rocket? 15speed)

Not all over mold drivers are trash but I get what you’re saying
New explorers feel just about as bad as a disc can
I had a ricky one that was perfect idk what changed but its not good
Can we get a major discount to buy that envy?
I hate the Buzz as well, it is the only disc I hate throwing, and I own over 20 Daredevil discs. LOL
I stop taking them serious when they said MVP feels bad in the hand…
Just realized his name isn't "overthrow". I assumed that was his name. Josh. Who knew?
Innova Nexus has extruding points that are annoying and I had two that cracked. I am a slower than average thrower.
Wow! The buzz was the only disc that came to mind for me. The feel is not for me. Cant think of any disc I disliked beside that.
'The width of the rim is insane." Not all of them are 15 speeds. WTF? So dumb.
The Ranger hurts your hand? Why are you so soft? Now it isn't my favorite disc, as the Hex is just better..... but glad I don't have weak, soft, delicate baby hands.....! This guy is James Conrad! Calling him this guy came across as disrespectful
Most putting putters, approach discs and midranges thrown by pros are usually too deep of a disc for me putting well and throw forehands with.
Yeah I cant stand the Buzzz. It is so big in my hand. I found an Armadillo and actually like it better than the Berg. As for MVP drivers, I agreed to a point. I like the 11 speeds and 14.5 speeds. I dont even know what #4 was, and i watched the whole rant. Speak clearly or put text on the screen please.
Lone star Texas ranger
Can’t throw the Passion at all
Yeah, I knew Luke’s number 1 before the video started. :)
Mikey isn't wrong about the Buzzz.
Middle swanky is using the berg wrong, so it makes sense. You don’t throw a berg, it goes in the berg whole. Duh.
Aerobie aero 😭
Hate on the Fierce, buzz and zone…..😮
Ofc the noodle arm am’s hate the buzzz
Flame on!
Funny, you say you can convince me the Buzzz is trash. Yet all of those things you said as a replacement were hot dog shit.
The Kastaplast Rask.

Definitely do not like Sky Gods.
I hear Buzzz, and just wanna throw up. 😆
Dislike the Nuke
it's almost like....... the overthrow guys are sponsored by clash discs........ cmon this is trash.

have to disagree. Big Z Buzzz is the best buzzz because it makes it more overstable.
I love my Methods. Only disc I’ve aced with. I do suck though.
My first ace was a Malta...... but it was easy to retire because I still didn't love it..... Hex, Reactor and Pyro for me in the mids now.

Mako and nova are the worst feeling discs ever
Agree on the Nova! Plus they break more easily than most discs.
