Looks good. Will this fit ona Microswiss direct drive back played. You should put a couple of leds in the head.😂
Awesome video, the new design looks excellent.
Thanks! Glad you like it!
Wow, my comment made it to the video, cool!
Absolutely! I appreciate all your comments 😃
Awesome mod!
Thanks for the support!
Good video but do you think the adjustable part could move and then in turn move the bl touch up or down messing up your z offset?
Yes that’s always a possibility. Maybe I should think of a way that the BLTouch is mounted to the back plate for a future design
which filament? (I have only pla+, but i guess it needs petg)
Currently mine is printed in PLA
The print quality on those parts is rough, it looks the same as when I had bent leadscrews on an Ender 5 Plus
Yep I’ll be looking into what’s causing that once I’m back from holiday
Looks like it wouldn't support the CRTouch since the cable comes out of the top instead of the side, very near where the screws go.
Yes I see that now. Shouldn’t be too far off. I’ll have to purchase a CRTouch and see what i can do.
Do you have a link to the y harnesses, soldering is not my strong point
I’m not sure how to buy the Y harness with fans connected already but you could use something like the wago connectors or cold wire splices here to splice without soldering. They’re a little bulky but can work.

00:30 The print quality is really bad. :/
It never got better
@@sanninoftheleaf9700 My prints looks much better 🤷♂
Yea I was in a rush and printed this at 120mm/s definitely not smooth with the harsh lighting on it. I may have to reprint a better looking version, and see if there’s any other problems going on as well.
@@DesktopInventions Yeah. I start using 0.6 mm nozzle for most of my prints on the Ender-3 and the quality went little bit down too. 😅
